Chapter 42: Encountering the Old Lover

Tang Siyu walked step by step into the room . The bright colored curtains were tied at both ends, and the afternoon sun shone in . A man wearing a dark blue suit was sitting in front of the piano .

Tang Siyu looked at his back . She suddenly retreated in panic and crashed into the door, disturbing the man .

He quickly turned around and their eyes met .

The two pairs of eyes looked at each other silently, as if they were entangled in love, and in that second, everything around them disappeared .

This man playing the piano was Mu Fei .

Tang Siyu wanted to escape . Even after five years, they were only able to see each other through the window of the Tang Clan’s garden .

But now, he was playing the song she once liked best, meeting her face to face .

Tang Siyu thought she would be able to remain calm . However, she seemed to be unable to do so .

Looking at the graceful man sitting beside the piano, all her past memories rushed into her mind like an uncontrollable flood, tearing open the wound she wanted to forget so badly .

Mu Fei also didn’t think that he would meet her here . It was just like five years ago, when he was waiting for her to come over to practice . She always had a bright and beautiful smile and would wear a white dress .

“Siyu, long time no see . ” Mu Fei was the first one to speak .

But at this moment, Tang Siyu actually wanted to escape, so she frantically turned around .

“Siyu, don’t go . ”

Mu Fei suddenly chased after her, his large palm grabbing her wrist without hurting her .

It wasn’t clear whether it was because the man’s hand was too strong, or because of their past but she lost her ability to escape . She was pulled back by Mu Fei with a single tug .

“Siyu, don’t go . I have something to ask you . ” Mu Fei’s voice was filled with guilt and pain .

Tang Siyu took a deep breath and stared at the traitor with a pale face . Clenching her teeth, she sneered . “Do you still have anything else to ask me?”

Mu Fei was a little shocked when he saw the mocking smile on her face . He bit his lips and asked in a low voice, “Why did you end up annulling the marriage that year? Why did you leave without even saying goodbye?”

Tang Siyu suddenly thought of something . That’s right, back then she had left without hesitation, not even bothering to tell him the reason for their parting . A trace of anger appeared in her eyes, but she bit her lip as didn’t want to say it .

“The past is already over, what are you still hesitating about? In the future, when you see me, you can call me Big Sis . ” Tang Siyu continued to mock and hurt him .

Extreme pain flashed through Mu Fei’s eyes . It was as though a steel knife was stabbed into his chest, causing him to be unable to breathe . He had become her brother-in-law, what an ironic relationship .

“Whose child is that? Who were you with back then? ” Mu Fei gritted his teeth as he fixed her with a deep stare, wanting to know the truth .

“What does it have to do with you?” Tang Siyu snorted .

“Yes, I want to know how even though you loved me so much five years ago, you were still with another man behind my back . I also want to know if you had children . ” Mu Fei’s voice was full of questions, but when his eyes looked at her delicate and pretty face, he didn’t seem to be able to hate her .

Tang Siyu suddenly became angry . She abruptly pushed him away . “When you and Tang Yiyi were sleeping together, did you ever think about me?”
