Chapter 36: The trip to the museum

“Sis! You must attend our engagement ceremony . It’d be incomplete without you!” Tang Yiyi invited Tang Siyu with such fervor, almost as if she’d no clue about her previous relation to Mu Fei .

Tang Xiong’s expression darkened with irritation as he glared at his daughter .

Tang Siyu’s eyes narrowed as she spoke in an unbothered tone, “I’m a bit busy, so I might not have the time to attend it . ”

Hearing this, Qiu Lin was provoked to no end . “Do you have any business that’s more important than Yiyi’s engagement ceremony?”

Little Xi was familiar with the feud between his Mommy and the evil aunties, so he immediately perked up and said, “Mommy! I have painting classes, you must accompany me to them!”

“Oh! Yes, Mommy will definitely come with you . ” Tang Siyu was surprised at Little Xi’s timing . It helped her out a lot!

“What?! Your son’s painting classes are more important than my engagement ceremony? Do you even consider me as your sister?” Tang Yiyi’s body trembled with anger as she slammed her chopsticks down on the table . She desperately wanted Tang Siyu to attend the ceremony and be angered to the death as she watched Mu Fei and her be happy together .

Tang Siyu cocked an eyebrow as she spoke in a matter-of-fact tone, “Of course my son’s more important than anyone else . ”

Tang Xiong didn’t like this tense atmosphere at all . He hurriedly interrupted the conversation . “Alright, alright! No need to talk about it anymore . If Siyu doesn’t come, then you all know the reason . Little Xi wants to paint, so Siyu won’t come!”

“You’re just too scared to show up!” Tang Yiyi didn’t want to end the conversation at this point . No matter what, she wanted Tang Siyu to come to the engagement ceremony!

“Why would I be scared? I’m just worried that if I attend the ceremony, then you’ll become the butt of everyone’s jokes . After all, you’re in a relationship with someone I dumped . A used man is nothing to be proud of . ”

“You . . ” Tang Yiyi seethed with anger, unable to retort .

“Siyu! What the hell are you saying?! How can you talk about Mu Fei in this manner? Mu Fei likes Yiyi, so please let go of your jealousy!” Qiu Lin sneered .

Tang Siyu merely spared them a glance and said, “I’m just being honest . ”

“Enough, Siyu! Stop talking . Mu Fei is a part of our family now . It’s best for you to let go of the old grudges,” Tang Xiong lectured .

Tang Siyu didn’t utter a word and just fed Little Xi some food .

As for the pair of demons, they could only stare at each other silently, each harboring utmost hatred towards Tang Siyu . They didn’t expect her to have such a thick skin after these five years .

Who was Mu Fei? At that moment, Mu Clan was a big name in the business world and Mu Fei, the heir, was the ideal lover of every woman . Outstanding, capable, handsome, rich! He was definitely the best candidate for a husband and Tang Siyu had discarded him like nothing!

Tang Siyu left the Tang Mansion and drove straight to the museum . However, she’d no idea about the black car following her ever since she left the mansion . Inside the car were two bodyguards, observing every move of hers and reporting it to someone at the other end of the phone .

As soon as Tang Siyu arrived at the museum, the bodyguard reported it to his superior .

“Boss, Miss Tang took her son to visit the museum . ”

“Keep following them . I’ll be there soon,” a deep, charming voice ordered them .

The bodyguards parked their car right next to Siyu’s as she picked up Little Xi’s water bottle and went to the ticket counter .

She was absolutely oblivious to the presence of the two men behind her, following her as if they were tied to her by a rope .
