Around a year ago, after Abundance had died, a fertile land called the Nameless Land had appeared. The Zodiacs had come to Drachma to take the land for themselves. One of them had been the Zodiac of the Taurus temple.

[Give me what you stole, Serpent Bearer. Right now.]

The twelve Zodiacs had tried to acquire the land so that their past would stay hidden. However, catching the Zodiacs' scent, a being had appeared from the ocean. It was Abyss.

[There are two Zodiacs here!]

It was a monster that looked like a whale. Abyss was a being that could freely teleport to any place that was full of darkness, including dreams, shadows, fear, and the dark.

It traveled through the oceans of various dimensions to hunt prey and was known as a predator.

The Abyss that Lee Gun had killed on the earth had been a form of an alter ego. It was one of Abyss's clones.

Since Abyss liked eating, it had sent its clones to various locations. Despite being clones, they were extremely powerful.

This was the world that housed the rulers of dimensions. The Pantheon fell into a state of absolute panic.

“It is the Cluders!”

While humans called them the unknown civilization, other places called them the Cluders.

Moreover, this was the Abyss!

“This is nuts! Why is that psychotic predator here…!”

The gods were shocked when they recognized its face. Their reactions were natural since this being had attacked the Divine world a couple thousand years ago and had greatly destabilized the Divine world.

The monarchs that had invaded them included high-ranking beings like Silence. While the other monarchs had been unreasonably strong, the one that had caused the most trouble was Abyss.

That psychotic predator had eaten or harmed over two-thirds of the Divine world's population. It had eaten life equivalent to what would be born in a thousand years.

The Lord of Heaven glared at Lee Gun. Even if the Great Spirit were in his optimal state, dealing with monarch ranks was troublesome!

In this unexpected situation, the flustered Great Spirit yelled at Abyss, who was running amok. “Leader of the Cluders, this isn't a place that you should have come to!”

“Also, I'm not the one who stole your food!” The Great Spirit threw Hermes's arm toward Lee Gun and looked at Abyss. “It might have been a clone, but I heard it was defeated by the snake god on the earth. That means your target isn't us. You should direct your attention toward him!”

The gods couldn't believe what they had just heard. The fact that a monarch had gone to such a distant dimension was surprising, but who had taken care of what?

The gods of Olympus flinched. What? Time was dead? That Time was dead?? However, that wasn't important right now.

The Great Spirit immediately carried out its plan. “That is correct, leader of the Cluders, who swims through the Abyss. We will help you kill that snake god. Let us cooperate—”

[Fuck off! You guys are thieves who touched my dinner!!]

The gods screamed when the angry Abyss lashed out.

In a flash, Abyss ate several gods, who had become humans.

[Did you really think I wouldn't know the energy signature of the bastard who took my dinner? Damn merchants!]

[Since the snake god prepared this feast, I'll spare him!]

Abyss was enjoying itself as it chased after the gods to eat them. 

The gods who had tried to summon Hermes felt terrible. They were at fault for thinking they could negotiate with the boorish Cluders! Moreover, they couldn't use their power even if they wanted to. The power of Cycle had turned them into humans.

'All the power amassed within the land of Olympus is flowing to him.'

Their powers were being used as a power source for Cycle.

This was why the Great Spirit was avoiding using his power. He ground his teeth.

Since he was a Great Spirit, he knew the power of Cycle was temporary. He didn't plan on fighting until the power of Cycle dissipated. So he planned on buying as much time as possible.

However, the unreasonable beast had attacked, and the Great Spirit was busy dodging the attacks. He yelled at Lee Gun, “Snake god!”

“!'

“I'll forgive you for making a mess of Olympus. Just use Cycle once more!”

These words left the gods dumbfounded, but Lee Gun merely smirked. “Why should I? It says it won't attack me.”

“Do you really trust the words of that beast? You're its next target! I guarantee it!”

“I'm not so sure. What if I hand over someone valuable, like Hermes? I'm sure it'll like that. What if I give it a Great Spirit?”

“!!”

“Anyway, you guys have fun fighting it instead of me. It'll catch you guys and chew you up like gum.”

The gods glared at him, dismayed by his words.

“That damn bastard plans to run away by himself while leaving behind that thing!”

“He's doing this despite using our powers as his power source!”

“Who says I'm running away?”

Lee Gun unsheathed his sword as if to say they were speaking nonsense. He then attacked the Lord of Heaven, who was already under Abyss's attack.

The sudden attack surprised the Lord of Heaven. He turned to look at Lee Gun, but Lee Gun merely smirked.

The power of Cycle that was letting out a silver-white light was gradually contracting. However, another power surged in its place.

[Death Instinct]

The intense power surged up from Lee Gun's body. It was a power that only fighting gods possessed, so the Lord of Heaven furrowed his brows.

Lee Gun didn't care as he viciously swung his sword. “Whatever! Just give me back my friend's ability!”

Lee Gun came from the front, and Abyss was coming from the back! In a flash, the tables were turned against him, so the Great Spirit became angry.

“Cluder! That sword was made using your bones! The one you should be eating is him, not me!”

[Alright, Zeus. I'll grind down your bones and drink it!]

“No! That's not— Koohk!”

Zeus, who had lost his Divine status, groaned. The blade made from Abyss was aimed toward the region between his legs. He glared at Lee Gun. “Where the hell are you attacking?”

“What? You took the power away from my friend's little buddy! Give it back! I want to be a soccer coach for his kids!”

Zeus's expression was a sight to behold. “What are you talking about? Why would I take that?”

“I already checked up on it! When you broke apart Taeksoo's soul, you took that away too! Do you think I wouldn't know about that? You took it!”

Zeus looked dumbfounded. “I didn't take it!”

Zeus thought it was all nonsense, so he looked at the pillar gods who had been involved in that matter. The pillar gods were sweating as they fought the prisoners.

“Now that I think about it, Hermes said…”

“I think he mentioned doing it when Pushover's soul was being divided.”

That bastard! After speaking those words, an odd expression came over the faces of the pillar gods.

“Why would Hermes take such a thing?”

“That's not important right now! Give it back! I'll be ashamed to see Miss Jiwoo without it!”

Poseidon, who served the Great Spirit, became frustrated. “Even if we wanted to give it back, Hermes is gone! We have no idea where it is! It is your fault for sending Hermes to the monarch— Kuhk!”

“Give me one of yours then!”

The angry Lee Gun threatened Poseidon. The vicious power of a fighting-type god threatened the gods.

Appalled, the male gods ground their teeth. One was a beast that let their words go in one ear and out the other; the other was a psycho!

“Run away!”

“How can there be two of them that act like this?”

However, they didn't have the opportunity to speak any further.

Abyss ate another god.

The pillar gods desperately looked at the monarch.

They had a way of instantly turning the tables.

'That bastard has Hermes's core.'

Since Hermes had been eaten, the core containing his Divine status must be with the Abyss. If they recovered the Divine status, the Great Spirit could use it for a short period.

'The transportation ability can transport the monarch out of the Divine world.'

This applied to Lee Gun too.

Abyss's attack destroyed the territory of Olympus's Great Spirit.

The ground split apart. The gods and the prisoners fell through to the lower floor, and Abyss chased after them.

[Food! Where are you going!]

Lee Gun also tried to chase after them but…

His eyes turned round as Lime rolled up next to him with a crystal. Slime handed over a yellow crystal to him.

[Messenger god's (Hermes) Divine status (core)]

This was the core containing the god's Divine status. It seemed the core had been stuck between Abyss's teeth or some part of its body and had fallen to the ground in the fight.

The Constructs were surprised when Lee Gun picked up the core.

Lee Gun became interested when he heard the word inherit.

When he had a conversation with Persephone, he had learned that the inherited Divine status only transferred power. The previous owner's personality disappeared.

This was why disobedient gods were purposefully killed so that others could inherit their powers. This way would allow one to grow these gods according to one's taste.

Therefore, Lee Gun smirked. Hades had kidnapped his friend, but Hades's abilities overlapped with his own. This was why inheriting his Divine status wasn't worth the effort for Lee Gun. However, this one might be useful.

In the end, it didn't matter.

“Snake god! I'll agree to any deal! Just use the power of Cycle once more!”

A light emanated from the hole that led to the lower floor. It was a hole created by prisoners to enter this place, but Abyss's attack had widened it. 

Lee Gun let out a harsh laugh as he looked at the gods barely hanging on to objects. He pulled out a column from the Olympus palace. “Fuck off, idiots!”

Then he ruthlessly threw the column toward the gods.

Screams started to ring out.
