The moment he opened his eyes the first thing that entered in his sight was the the starry night sky.

He was lying on the ground, from the texture, he was lying in a pool of mud.

It looked like the Mad God really was able to reincarnate him...

Strange memories flooded his mind along with a splitting painful headache. Of course this amount of pain was nothing for someone like Dae-, Neo. When was a human he had gone through worse, a lot worse.

Unfortunately, even though the pain only bothered his mind, his body was extremely weak at that moment, so the pain caused it to tremble and twist around in the mud.

[My body can't handle the pain...] Neo discovered the first problem with his reincarnation. The disconnection between his mind, soul and body.

While his pain endurance was very high, his body was unable to endure it. It was just like the Mad God had said. There would be some problems with the reincarnation and would take time to fix them.

Minutes passed by. The pain went away, so Neo was now able to explore the memories from the previous host.

After being exiled from his family Neo fell in depravity and insanity. He was convinced himself that he was a kind of Divine Child or whatever.

Being exiled, punished and looked down by his family members and friends was his breakdown. His mindset that was already vicious and ruthless has became even more after the incident.

The current and reincarnated Neo wasn't able to travel deep in the past memories of the previous Neo.

Trying to remember, it was like a wall blocking his consciense from travelling deeper into his own mind. It's obvious for Neo that there was something fishy about this.

Falling into insanity and depravity, the previous Neo wasn't able to survive by himself too well. He lived for 5 years in poverty and abuse jumping from slums to slums. He did well for being able to survive this long without any outside help, since when he was exiled he was about 11 years old.

A child born with a silver spoon suddenly losing everything, it surely could cause someone to fall in the brink of insanity.

Neo stood up and glanced at the sky once again. He saw that in the sky there was 2 moons.

This place where he has been reincarnated wasn't the world he was from. This planet was called Atlas. And in the whole planet there was only a single massive continent surrounded by very small islands.

The only memories Neo had access were the ones with basic knowledge and the most recent ones.

Within the memories he found out that the country he was currently, Nirania, was controled by a group of families, basically it was an aristocracy. The money was global in the planet and its name is Zenny. After comparing the information about the prices of products in Earth and Gaia, Neo has reached the conclusion that basically 1 Zenny is almost equivalent to 1 Dollar.

The lenguage was the same for all the countries as well.

What really differentiate the countries was the religions, culture and political system.

In this world magic exist, exactly like in Neo's previous world. But in this world the magic society is hidden from the general population and just a few families and people from the world know about the existence of magic, Gods, Demons and monsters

Most of the magical families live in a separated dimension from this one, Ancardia is how it is called, but it's very connected by some gateways that are in those families' possession.

But occasionally some rifts appear between the dimensions, and some people, spirits, demons and monsters are able to use this temporary rifts to travel between the dimensions.

Neo scanned his surroundings.

He was on the middle of a slum. Poorly built wooden houses all around him.

Even from the distance Neo was able to see that most of the woods were already rooting.

Neo looked below him, at the small pool of water.

He checked his own appearance.

His eyes were golden, but they were hollow. His just skin and bones body was covered in mud and dirty. There was barely any fat on Neo's body. His body was completely bony and malnourished. It was no wonder that Neo suddently fell unconscious and died on the same place while he was unconscious.

Neo smiled at himself, but because of his current appearance his smile looked beyond creepy and ugly.

He looked at the slums and realized that the roads were poorly illuminated by just a few streetlights.

{Night Vision}

Neo was opened his mouth and easily used a Tier 1 spell.

His golden eyes started to shine brilliantly and he was soon able to see in the night as easy as we would be able to do if it was daytime.

With a wave of his hand the shadow below him started to move at his will.

It twisted and turned in ground, following Neo's hand movements.

*Bam*

With a muffled impact the shadow flew out from the ground and took form beside Neo.

It was a mass of pitch black matter, but in just a few moments it started to change.

{Shadow Guard: Wolf}

Neo chanted a new a spell and the instant he finished his chant the black mass assumed the form of a wolf with piercing red eyes.

The wolf was almost as tall as Neo, and Neo was 1.70 meters tall.

Neo would have been taller if he had received a proper diet in the last 5 years, but it didn't happened.

"Hey buddy..." Neo crouched by the wolf's side and patted his head. There was a rare warm smile on his face as he patted his companion. A companion that had been by his side ever since he learned to do magic. Its name was Kolvar.

The wolf leaned in Neo's hand and joyfully closed his red eyes.

"Looking smaller and weaker." Neo saw that the wolf was way smaller and weaker since the last time he saw him. This happened because Neo's Mana Pool was way smaller and weaker than before his reincarnation. "Don't worry, it won't take long before I can make you big and stronger as before."

Neo closed his eyes and looked inwardly, at his soul.

A person's Mana Pool is always inside their soul, and to increase the size and strength of it the magic user, or Mage, must meditate, cultivate by absorbing the Mana in his surrounding and then go to practice or directly go to battle to train and consolidate what they had absorbed and learnt.

Magic users are those that are able to control the Mana around them and use it change nature by freely controlling the elements, or by performing spells by using the power of the ancient lenguage to chant the name of the Spell, and with this the Spell would be activated. They are separated in various levels and each have their own differences and requirements to jump from one level to another.

Neo was currently a Novice Mage, the first level. Novice Mages are only able to chant spells of Tier 1 and 2. The previous host had the soul crippled and thus lost all of his progress, but now that Daemon's soul took over, he recovered his ability to control Mana and his own Mana Pool.

"First step should be recovering this body to its peak. I can't meditate and cultivate with such malnourished body." Neo frowned. He must find money, food and shelter.

His ears twitched when it caught the sound of people approaching from behind.

Neo eyed Kolvar. The wolf and Neo were mentally connected, so with only one thought Kolvar was able to understand Neo's commands.

The wolf silently whinnied a little, but it still obeyed and dived back at Neo's shadow.

"Look, boss." Neo heard a husky voice from the people that were approaching from behind.

Neo turned around and saw that there was young adults wearing tattered linen clothes.

They looked very poor and also a little malnourished as well. Their body were tall and lean, but a very slender.

"If it isn't the beggar kid." The adult in the middle scornfully spoke. "Go back to your rat hole or I will beat you up again, punk."

The other two beside him started to laugh at Neo and curse at him, just for the fun of it.

Neo ignored their words and stared at them.

What was passing through his mind was a mystery at that moment.

"Hey, the punk dared to stared at us." On adult at the left saw that Neo was ignoring them and just staring. He cracked his knuckles and walked forward. "Boss, let me teach him a lesson."

"Go ahead. Only stop beating him up when I say so." The adult in the middle with the buzz head was also annoyed and pissed of how Neo was staring at them, like he was... Looking down at them.

"Yes, boss." The guy said and approached step by step toward Neo. "Hey, kid. You better not struggle or I might hit you harder than the previous times." He viciously smiled as his eyes glinted with delight.

"Take this!" He threw a punch at Neo's abdomen, but...

*Pof*

Neo easily caught the adult's hand.

"Whwhat?" He looked at his hand being held by Neo. He tried to take it away, but his hand didn't budged a centimeter.

He stared at Neo's eyes. He really never looked at them before, but now that he really looked at it, he saw that they were very beautiful with their golden color. Unfortunately, he was unable to admire them since he shuddered and started to coldly sweat when his eyes locked with Neo's eyes.

{Body Strengthening}

*Crack*

"AHHHHHHH!!!!" The adult screamed in pain at the top of his lungs as his hand was slowly crushed by Neo's clutch.

Neo just used a Tier 2 spell, {Novice Body Strengthening}.

It's a very simple Spell that makes the Mana of the user go around his body and strengthening his physical abilities.

The boss and the henchman looked dumbfounded at the scene in front of them.

A small and bony boy making a taller and stronger looking adult fall on his knees while screaming in pain and asking for forgiveness.
