Neo looked the sign, it was written "1-S".

To get to his classroom, they had walk a long way from the reception towards the most reclusive building of the entire school.

It was very far away from the normal students' buildings.

This particular building was built with extra care and the owner held no money back when building it.

Even from afar, it showed the grandiose and luxury that it was purposed built to show off.

It was the biggest building of the school, but this wasn't everything that this particular building showed.

The moment Neo got closer to it, he felt that it had a huge and powerful defensive formation beneath the building.

Even though the entire school was already inside a defensive formation, the formation that was surrounding this special place was a lot stronger than the other one.

There was a lot more than what meets the eye. Neo was able to feel that the constructions in the underground of the the building, was way bigger and vast than the actual edifice.

In summary, the edifice that Neo's classroom was located was way more special than the other ones.

The receptionist proceeded to enter in the classroom to notify to the teacher that was on the middle of his class that the new student has arrived.

Neo only had to wait a few seconds before the receptionist left the room and told him that he was now allowed to enter.

After saying that to Neo, she turned around and left the edifice.

Inside the classroom 1-S.

The teacher was an middle-aged man on his fifties. He had a small beard, and short black hair. He was what most considering handsome, he was more like a normal person, but his black eyes gleamed with a mysterious and powerful light.

He was wearing a full black suit that combined with his stern and calm atmosphere.

The crowd of about 20 students were rowdy after hearing that the new student had just arrived, and was just outside the class.

From the 20, half of them were girls, the other half were boys.

They were very curious about this mysterious student that had been transferred.

Principally the girls, since they heard from the rumors that the transferred student was a male, and a handsome one on top of that.

But for their dismay, the new student hadn't arrived by the time of the first class of the day. This just helped to increase the hype over the identity of the newcomer.

"Hey, Rion..." A female student poked at the girl that was beside her.

"What?" The student lazily asked. This was the same girl that brushed by Neo when he had just arrived at the school gates.

She was wearing a male uniform that combined with her boyish mannerism and aura.

She wasn't that tall, only about 1.70 meters of height. She had a slender body with a somewhat small chest that was glued in her tight uniform.

She combed her black, short hair with her slender hand as her obsidian dark, enchanting eyes flashed with a playful light, and alluring lips moved upward, forming a lazy and casual smile. She really was very beautiful and charming, capable of stirring the hearts of both male and female alike.

The female student blushed when faced with the tomboy's beautiful smile. She was so enchanted by her that she forgot what she wanted to say and unblinkingly stared at those lips.

"Silence!" The teacher said with a low, deep, and authoritative voice that instantly calmed down the rowdy students.

The teacher nodded, satisfied that the students finally stopped talking and whispering to one another.

"As you might have heard, we have a new student today." The middle-aged teacher said while seriously glaring at every single one of them in the eyes, "So, without further ado, let's give a warm welcome to our new addition."

The teacher pointed at the door.

As soon as the teacher finished speaking the door was opened once again.

The students had their eyes glued at the door, waiting to catch a single glimpse of the newcomer.

After a few seconds finally a figure started to emerge from the opened door.

Every one the classroom loudly gasped as they saw the newcomer, principally the girls.

Even the teacher threw a second look and his eyebrow rose as he glanced at the young man.

The new student was wearing the same green uniform as them, but coupled with his tall and fit body, with his handsome face, slightly messy hair, and a gentle expression in his face, made him look like a charismatic prince.

It took just a few seconds to Neo get from the classroom door to the podium, but for the people in the room, it took an eternity.

Each step he took was filled with confidence and strength. His warm smile enchanted the girls, while his hovering gaze sent electricity currents through their bodies, making them numb.

As for the boys...most of them were indifferent about the newcomer, while some were curious about him, there was some that were staring Neo with jealousy-filled eyes.

[All of them are Magic Users...such as expected.] Neo soon came with a realization. He glanced at the teacher and also saw that he was a Magic User as well, a rather advanced one on top of that.

He changed his sight from the teacher to the students on e more and was soon bombarded by those same glares.

[Annoying...] Neo's lips twitched as he tried with his full strength and determination to stay on his character. [I thought I wouldn't attract so much attention by being normal, but...why are they staring at me with eyes filled with passion and others with jealousy?]

He was very confused in the moment. Even though he saw himself in the mirror and had to admit that the body looked very pleasing to the eyes, he never thought his appearance was so good that the girls would stare at him with hungry eyes.

[Troublesome...] He smile became stiff as he waited for the class to calm down.

"Silence!" The teacher frowned and shouted at the students. He took a few moments to calm the class because he, as well, was surprised by the appearance of the newcomer.

As soon as the voice of the teacher sounded out, the commotion died down.

The teacher glanced at Neo and made a gesture for him to continue with his presentation.

"Hello everyone, I'm Neo. I transferred to this school at the middle of the year for various personal reasons, so please take care of me from now on."

Neo smiled gently at everyone.

But one careful look and a person would be able to see that it wasn't a true smile and it was somewhat stiff.

One person that was able to see through Neo's smile was Rion.

She had her head lowered the moment her line of sight fell on those golden eyes.

[Golden...eyes...] She whispered inwardly. He eyes gleaming with a chilling light as her lips slowly creeped upward forming a enchanting, but menacing smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Neo." The teacher walked by and shook hands with Neo while warmly smiling. "I'm Andre Goty, on of the teachers that you will have. You can call me just Andre."

"It's my pleasure." Neo kept his gentle smile as he shook hands.

The moment he let go of the teacher's hand he suddenly felt killing intent directed at him.

It was subtle and fast, but it was more than enough to caught Neo's attention.

He threw a swift glance across the class, but he saw nothing out of ordinary. He narrowed his eyes for a brief second before turning toward the teacher once again and asked, "Where's going to be my seat?"

"Oh...you can take that empty chair behind the student Rion Dalla over there."

Neo followed the teacher's line of sight and his eyes soon fell upon the figure of a tomboy with short black hair.

The same girl that brushed past him when he just arrived at the school.

Just as the teacher finished speaking, the other girls in the class turned their heads and stared at Rion with threatening eyes.

Rion could only smile at the situation that she was just put on.

She knew that this was a kind of punishment the teacher was given to her because she arrived late at the school.

But she wasn't against the teacher's suggestion, in fact, she very much like it. After all, it was only getting close to him that she might get to know some information about...

"Hello..."

Rion's thought process was broke when Neo approached and greeted her.

She threw her thoughts at the back of her mind for now and gently smiled at Neo.

Rion was just wrapping up her stray thoughts when she felt a sudden chill down at her spine. She knew it came from the young man behind her.

"Well, students, like I was saying before..." The teacher restarted his class soon enough after the commotion died down a little. "Corruption, something that all Magic Users will face, one day or another.

Humans' souls is corrupted as they sin, but normally they would never corrupt so much that they would undergo the demonification. After all, demonification is a lengthy and slow process, when it's naturally.

The human would die of old age even before their soul would become completely dark.

Of course there some rare case of humans so...inhumans that they went through the demonification, but only 1 out of 10 humans are capable of survive the painful and stressful process without external help.

Magic Users, on the other hand, almost never undergo the demonification because they have the Mana Pool that protect the soul, and as the Mana Pool get bigger and stronger, the corruption effects also slow down..."

Teacher Andre kept talking about examples and about corruption, but all of this, Neo already knew.

Unfortunately, he had to pretend he was paying full attention at what he was teaching, or else it would break the character that he decided to follow along with.

Of course he wasn't paying full attention in the class, but rather splitting his focus into paying attention in class and also spending his time exploring the new power that he had discovered the other day, the white glowing ball in his Mana Pool.
