"Senior Yang Guang, wait up!"
Yang Guang who heard someone calling him stopped and turned around, he saw Yu Chen running towards him.
"Why are you here?" Yang Guang asked as Yu Chen arrived in front of him.
"I'm going to help you." Yu Chen said with a resolute voice. His determination caused Yang Guang to let him join him for the night.
Yang Guang then took out a black mask and a clear glass talisman, he then explained that the clear glass talisman could help to prevent them from being detected by normal people.
The both of them then put on their mask and head forward.
Explosions of light and sounds occur throughout every corner of Song City, with every flash of light Yang Guang and Yu Chen who was invisible appeared for an instant.
"Try and stay in the shade, this way when the firework explodes the light won't shine on you."
Yang Guang said told Yu Chen.
Both of them fade in and out from the darkness until they meet a damn creature. It looked like a human, but with red skin and black horns.
"Be careful, this one isn't a monster or spirit it is a demon. Its rank is also quite high." Yang Guang warned Yu Chen as motes of light gathered in Yang Guang palm.
Yu Chen's necklace shone with a bright light as he asked: "I never have seen a real demon before, but from what I heard they are the most dangerous type of damn creature out of the three types."
Laughter came out from Yang Guang's and the red demon. "Dangerous? They are merely just as smart as us humans, they still will die if you smash then enough times."
"Worthless humans, you think that I am just as smart as you? Guess again!" The same brilliant light that shines from a secret gear shines from the red demon's body.
"Today I am getting two new secret gears!" The red demon who now donned a set of medieval knight's armor charged towards Yang Guang and Yu Chen with a large golden shield.
Yang Guang laughed and charged forward with Yu Chen, the broadsword, rattan pole and shield clashed with each other.
"Yu Chen, do you know what I call those demons?"
"No."
"I call them walking piggy banks!"
Yang Guang said with a greedy look on his face, he raised his left leg and kicked the shield.
In an instant, Yang Guang jumped and pulled up the helmet of the red demon.
"Thank you for your two exquisite secret gear." With the smile of a devil should have, Yang Guang smashed opened the red demon's skull with his fist.
Dust from the red demon and its secret gear falls onto the ground. After both of them collected their loot, Yang Guang told Yu Chen something interesting.
"Let's go and look for a portal."
Yu Chen who heard what Yang Guang said got confused, but still, he followed him around. While looking for the portal, Yang Guang began to explain about the demons to Yu Chen.
"The demons are special not because of their higher intellect, every high ranked damn is as smart as a human but the demons are special because they have secret energy."
"Those bastards would hunt damn hunters and kill them for their secret gear, so next time if you see any demon just kill them before anyone else come and take their secret gear all for yourself."
"These things could sell for quite a lot of money."
Yu Chen who did not know how to react to Yang Guang's statement just laughed it off. During his days at Gallant City, he was taught to avoid demons and call for help instead of killing them for their loot.
"Found it."
Yang Guang said as he pointed at a stone structure, in the middle of the structure red and purple light swirls in unison.
"What is on the other side?" Yu Chen asked as he tried to put his hand into the portal.
Yang Guang summoned his rattan pole and start smashing the portal into bits as he told Yu Chen: "Don't know, don't care."
"I just know that the fewer portals there are in Song City, the safer it will become."
Without asking any more questions, Yu Chen started helping Yang Guang to destroy the portal.
