The Damn Hunter 14 Dinner And Work

"So you are Yu Chen, the new damn hunter who transfers to Song City from Gallant City for 6 months?" The old lady asks Yu Chen who is now sitting across her.

Yu Chen nods and looks at her blankly.

"I'm the boss in this house and these 2 idiots are my husband and my grandson." the old lady says to Yu Chen.

"I'm the abused grandson." Yang Guang said while raising his hand.

"I'm the abused husband." The old man said while raising his hand.

The old man then stands up and said to his wife. "I have something to say with you, come with me."

The both of them walks to the kitchen and stand face to face, the old lady then ask. "Yang Dou Wang what do you want?"

"It is about that boy, Yu Chen." Yang Dou Wang says with a serious look on his face, he then explains everything to his wife.

"Jin Rou Gang, do you agree with us to kick him back to Gallant City if he cannot get over this hurdled?" Yang Dou Wang asks seriously.

Jin Rou Gang shakes her head and disagrees with her husband and says. "That cutie Yu Chen has potential, so I must disagree with the both of you."

After they have finish talking the both of them walks back to the living room, when Yang Dou Wang sits down on the sofa he was instantly kick off.

"Go and clean up the mess that the both of you made in the kitchen now!" Jin Rou Gang shouts at Yang Guang and Yang Dou Wang.

Scrub Scrub Scrub

After an hour of cleaning the kitchen together, the kitchen now shines like a diamond; the floor is now so shiny that it hurt to even look at it due to the light being reflected.

"Now it is my turn to shine." Jin Rou Gang says after she moves in front of the stove and starts the fire.

When Yang Guang hears this, he face instantly lit up. He then looks at his grandpa and said. "No more steam buns anymore!"

"What is so bad about my steam buns?" Yang Dou Wang asks his grandson.

Yang Guang gives out a dry laugh and reply. "Everything."

The pair then started fighting with Yu Chen looking at the side.

A slap hits the both of their head, the slap it so hard that it can be heard a kilometer away.

"Stop being idiots and eat dinner." Jin Rou Gang said coldly while looking at the both of them with a death glare in her eyes.

A four of them then sits at the dinner table enjoying a meal that is not all about steam buns, suddenly Yang Guang asks his grandma. "There is a problem with some of the talismans can you fix them?"

"You dare say that the talismans that I made have a problem?" Jin Rou Gang angry stare sends a chill down Yang Guang spine.

She then calms down and says "Let me look at them after dinner.", after she finishes talking they continue to eat their food.

After their done with their meal Yang Guang and Jin Rou Gang walks up stairs into a locked room, when Jin Rou Gang is unlocking the door she tells Yang Guang to invite Yu Chen to go in with them.

When Yu Chen first sees what is inside the room he was shock beyond words, the room has many weapons hanging on the walls such as a bow made out of blue color wood, a short sword that looks rusty and dull but its hilt is shiny like it was brand new.

On the side of the room there is glass cupboards containing dried up herbs that didn't seem to come from earth and soul dust ranging from rank 1 to 10 inside it. Other than that there are talismans that Yu Chen never seen before in his life hanging in picture frames on the wall.

In the middle of the room there is a large table with a calligraphy brush and an ink stone that looks like it was made out from ice, at the end of the room Yang Guang's rattan pole is floating in the middle waiting to be summon by Yang Guang, on top of the rattan pole there is a picture with a lot of people in it that Yu Chen didn't recognize.

"This is the Yang's family storage and crafting room, or what I like to call it my playground." Jin Rou Gang says to Yu Chen.

She then turns her attention to Yang Guang and says to him. "Place the talismans that you want to show me on the table."

Yang Guang then takes out a few black and white talismans and throws them on the table for Jin Rou Gang to inspect, when Jin Rou Gang takes one of the black talismans and have a closer look she instantly rip it apart.

"Yang Guang, where did you bring these talismans?" Jin Rou Gang's voice start to become scarier but Yang Guang could not escape due to the black dome produce by the black talisman.

Yang Guang laughs and said a bunch of useless things to try and change the topic but Jin Rou Gang seems to run out of patient and start beating Yang Guang up.

"There is a few food stains and wrinkles on the talismans, if it is a talisman made by other people it will probably not work and you still complain to me that there is a problem with my talismans?" Jin Rou Gang's face starts to darker by the second.

When Yang Guang walks down the stairs his grandpa looks at his face and laughs, then he says. "If my brain is a steam bun then your face is also one now."

Yang Guang ignores him and look at the clock on the wall, he gets his gear and left the house without Yu Chen.

Yang Dou Wang then thought to himself. 'I thought he is going to call Yu Chen to come with him, maybe he has already give up." he then stands up and tell Yu Chen to start his hunt for tonight.
