The Damn Hunter 48 Awkward Dinner

"So Yu Chen is going to live here for a few days?" Wang Guo Ming said as he looked at Yu Chen.

"Of course he is. If not why did I bring him here? So he can have a nice dinner with you?" Yang Guang retorted as he pointed at Yu Chen.

"Well, the house is a bit empty especially round this time of year." Wang Guo Ming said as he took a puff of his cigarette.

Yang Guang then stood up and stretched his arms, he then looked at the clock and let out a sigh as his face showed a gloomy expression.

He then opened his mouth and told Yu Chen "I'm going to bring your stuff after dinner, so wait here with the weird uncle."

"Damn brat who are you calling a weird uncle?" Wang Guo Ming said as he stepped forward to confront Yang Guang.

Yang Guang ignored what Wang Guo Ming just said and told Yu Chen as he is opening the door.

"Take care of him."

The figure with grey hair finally left through the door, Wang Guo Ming took another puff and then turned his attention to Yu Chen.

"You are going to sleep in the living room is that okay?" He said as he looked at Yu Chen.

"I'm fine as long as I have a place to sleep but what is wrong with senior Yang Guang?" Yu Chen asked as he remembers the gloomily look carved on Yang Guang's face.

A dry chuckle echoes in the empty home as Wang Guo Ming told Yu Chen with a heavy tone.

"Yang Guang's family is just like any other family there will be fights between a parent and a child; most of the time the ones caught in between the crossfires are usually the young ones."

Noticing that the atmosphere turned sour, Yu Chen then quieted down and sat on the sofa.

'I wonder what Yang Guang is doing now.' Yu Chen asked himself.

"We are going to eat steam buns tonight!" Yang Dou Wang shouted as he pushed a steam bun right into his son's mouth.

Yang Jiao Long spat out the steam bun with disgust and told his father. "I sick of your steam buns, no it should be everybody by now."

"Dad, I must agree with Jiao Long. We had been eating your steam buns for years." Yang Xin Ai said after she let out a sigh.

"I'm cooking tonight, so nobody has to suffer." Jin Rou Gang told Yang Dou Wang after giving him a good smack to the head with a frying pan.

"Damn it, If all of you hated my steam buns then I will find someone who is willing to eat them with me!"

As soon as Yang Dou Wang finished his sentence, Yang Guang walked in without a clue about the event that had happened just now as a steam bun is flying right towards his face.

"Hah, take a look. Yang Guang will now devour the steam bun like a ravenous beast!"

"To hell with and your steam buns." Yang Guang said after he threw the steam bun back at Yang Dou Wang hitting the old man's face.

Jin Rou Gang then dragged Yang Dou Wang to the dinner table and told the rest of them to start eating.

White smoke rises up from the dished while the aroma floats in the air, enchanting everyone at the dinner table except for Yang Guang who knew that something bad is about to happen and Yang Dou Wang who is sulking with a steam bun in his mouth.

"So Yang Guang, I heard that you are still working on your"Part-time job"." Yang Jiao Long said as he looked at Yang Guang who is eating.

Before Yang Guang could say anything, Yang Dou Wang told his son that there is nothing wrong about a teenager looking for experience instead of staying at home like a coward.

Yang Jiao Long put down his bowl and stared at Yang Dou Wang. "I think that he has more than enough experience already, by this point you are treating him like a slave." He said.

Yang Dou Wang slammed the table startling everyone, he then angrily told Yang Jiao Long. "What do you think will happens to the "customers" if he quit his job?"

"Someone will take his place; I believe that his "boss" won't end the business after Yang Guang had left!" Yang Jiao Long retorted.

After all that, Yang Dou Wang merely sneered as he said to his son. "What do you know? You quit just because of a little setback!"

"If you want to have a fight, then take it outside!" Jing Rou Gang scolded as she kicked Yang Dou Wang, Yang Jiao Long and Yang Guang out from the house.

'Why do I always got dragged into their petty argument every year and then get kicked out?' Yang Guang asked himself as he quietly ate his dinner on the front door.

"Hey, Yang Guang if you want to quit being a hunter your uncle here will support you." Yang Jiao Long told Yang Guang with a gentle smile.

"Are you trying to kill everyone in this city?" Yang Dou Wang said as he covered Yang Guang's ears with his hands to prevent him from hearing anything.

Yang Jiao Long quickly slapped away Yang Dou Wang's hands and coldly said. "Are you trying to kill Yang Guang?"

'Every year these two people have to fight…'

'Looks like I got to hang round the city alone just like last year again.'

Ignoring both of them, Yang Guang stood up and walked into the darkness, leaving the pair of father and son to continue their yearly quarrel.
