The Buggiest System 13 Transfer Studen

Students were chatting about the rumored transfer student.

"I heard she was a guy!"

"What the heck, she's a guy?"

"Um, excuse me, HE'S a guy." Whilst saying this, he fixed his glasses with his pointer.

"Are you homophobic?!"

"Wait, no, no, no, I'm not-"

That student got beaten up afterwards.

Suddenly, the door to the classroom opened, and an extremely handsome man came in. The whole class fell into silence.

The handsome proceeded to walk inside, and eventually, he sat on a chair.

Several girls started whispering to each other.

"Is he the transfer student?"

"Oh my God, he's so handsome!"

"Crap, I think I'm in love..."

While the girls were swooning over the handsome guy, the boys were jealous of his face... or not.

"Is he the transfer student?"

"Oh my God, he's so handsome!"

"Crap, I think I'm in love..."

The boys were swooning over him as well...

Even the nasty looking bullies had been struck! This handsomeness of his was a plague, an illness, and a fatal one at that!

Suddenly, one of the bullies noticed something peculiar... this handsome man sat on Plumpy's seat, what's more, he was carrying Plumpy's bag!

However, he shrugged it off thinking that it was all a coincidence. After all, there was no way that this handsome man was Plumpy.

Zhou Lei was delighted at his classmate's reactions and grinned while looking at the window. The window reflected his face, making everyone see the handsome man's stupid grin.

"Oh my God, that smile is immaculate!"

While everyone was savoring the sight of the handsome man's smile, the homeroom teacher came in the room. She had heard the ruckus from outside.

As she entered, she was greeted by the sight of everyone staring at the student who was smiling beside the window, dramatically. This, in turn, incited the teacher's curiosity.

She was interested in the man that attracted everyone's attention. What could he have done to attain this result?

With a glance at his face, she understood immediately. She was lovestruck as well.

Resisting her mind's urges, she sat on her chair and greeted everyone.

"Class, sit down please."

Surprisingly, no one heard her. Even if someone did, they would have paid no heed to the teacher's words. Instead of getting angry, however, the teacher didn't mind her students ignoring her. She understood why they did that.

The only exception to this was Zhou Lei. He, the center of attention, was the only one who heard the teacher. He planned to speak to direct attention to the teacher instead.

Before he did, however, a thought went across his mind.

'My appearance changed, but my crappy voice stayed the same...'

Luckily for him, he got 100 upgrade points last night for not doing it. He could upgrade that too!

A prompt popped up from System. "Are you sure you want to put 50 points on: [Host's Voice]?"

'Hmm, leveling up gives its benefits...'

The moment Zhou Lei entered the school building, he had already leveled up. This level up actually fixed all the bugs that Zhou Lei had encountered up to now.

After all, the prompt that System gave to Zhou Lei was not buggy anymore. He succeeded in the first try.

Until a thought struck Zhou Lei.

'Wait... wouldn't the effects happen overnight?'

Thinking this, he still tried it anyway.

System responded to his thoughts. "Voice is not an explicit change, therefore changes will take effect immediately."

'Oh, sweet!'

As soon as he learned of that, he cleared his throat.

"Ahem... the teacher's saying something..." Zhou Lei heard his own voice, and he could not believe it. This... this was his voice? Impossible...

The whole class heard the man's voice and listened earnestly. Upon doing so, everyone fell in love all over again. Of course, the teacher was also added to that group.

Hearing the mysterious student's words, the teacher couldn't help but feel touched that he was concerned about her. As everyone's attention was directed to the teacher now, she repeated her instructions.

"Class, be seated~"

Her voice was evidently full of joy.

The class disregarded their teacher again, not sitting at all. Instead, they just stood still, staring at the mysterious man.

Zhou Lei noticed that even the teacher didn't care, so he had to say it himself.

"Didn't you hear? Be seated, she said."

Everyone in the class followed his orders like they were hypnotized.

The teacher snapped out of her daze and announced. "There is a transfer student coming this day."

All the students responded, "Isn't he already here?", then turned their gaze towards the handsome man.

"I don't know who that is... he's not the transfer student." The teacher answered the student's doubts.

"Huh?" Everyone in the class was visibly confused, except for the handsome man.

'The handsome man's not the transfer student? Who is he then? Although, to be honest, I'm fine with him staying there... forever...'

After hearing this surprising fact from their teacher, the students all developed their own theories in their minds about the identity of this mysterious man.

Is he an idol? Is he an actor, in a pranking TV show? That's certainly plausible...

The teacher turned towards the door and gestured with her hands to come in. The one she gestured to understood that and walked inside the classroom.

There was an obviously shy girl wearing glasses with braided hair. On top of that, she was holding her bag in front of her.

This... a nerd?!

No one expected the transfer student to be a nerd. After all, modern media had skewed all of their expectations about transfer students.

They all thought that every transfer student would be ridiculously handsome or beautiful, like the mysterious man that was suspected to be a transfer student at first glance.

Yes, some might be attracted to this girl, but the majority of the class clicked their tongues in disappointment.

A while later.

Everyone was trying to converse with the handsome guy, even the supposedly shy transfer student.

"I just came here to say, someone's seated on that chair. But he's been absent for two days, and we don't really care about him anyway as well, so you can go ahead and continue sitting there." One of Plumpy's bullies talked to the man himself.

Zhou Lei thought of an idea. 'Is this it? The holy face smacking moment?'

"Really? Who is it that is seated here?" Zhou Lei's asked with interest, albeit fake.

"Oh, Zhou Lei's seated there. But he's useless anyway."

"He's going to drop out soon..."

"That ugly fatass? No one cares about him..."

'Ouch.' Deep inside, Zhou Lei had taken critical damage from his classmates comments about him. He knew that the whole class despised his presence, but he didn't know it was to this extent! Furthermore, it was said directly to his face! On the surface, however, he didn't show it.

The teacher had started to check the attendance. Eventually, she reached Zhou Lei.

"Is Zhou Lei still absent?"

"Yes..." The class almost said this with a synchronized voice. Give them two more days and they should be able to perfect their response.

However, amidst all the yeses, there was one voice that stood out.

"Present."
