“Heugyau!”

The baby dragon trembled at the baby’s solemn babble and let out a small roar.

“Kyaong…!”

The roar was muffled because the baby dragon was still biting onto Simon’s wrist.

“Heugyau!”

“Kyaoong…”

But eventually, what caught their attention was a pure white hatchling tail.

The baby dragon with the big dark eyes released Simon’s wrist.

It was an unbelievable sight. What in the world was happening?

Could it be that Sasha and the dragon were communicating somehow?

Sasha naturally smiled at Simon, who’s eyes widened.

“Kya.”

If you look at the corners of the mouth that are sunken between the chubby cheeks and the corners of the eyes that are folded up as if they are about to melt, it was his adorable baby, but why did it feel so strange?

“…Sasha, can you understand what I’m saying?”

Sasha smiled as if he knew nothing and reached out to Simon, moving his limbs.

Then he hugged Simon tight with his chubby little arms and buried his face.

Simon’s heart melted at that lovely gesture.

“Well…what does it matter? If you’re special, then you’re special. Right, baby?”

Simon hugged the baby and patted his small back.

At that moment, Shamin’s head lowered onto the baby’s back, and he felt a strange sensation in his fingertips.

‘…Wait, what is this?’

Simon turned to Kalia unconsciously, who had also been looking at him for answers since they discovered it earlier.

As if asking why, Kalia’s eyes looked at Sasha’s back.

Surprised by her sudden movement, Simon’s eyes widened at Kalia’s shocked face.

“Wings…?”

That’s what it was.

Two transparent wings fluttered beautifully on Sasha’s back, reminiscent of a butterfly’s.

Kalia looked at Sasha in Simon’s arms with wide eyes, then involuntarily covered her mouth and exclaimed.

“Wow, it’s so pretty.”

‘…Oh my baby!’

Kalia rushed towards Sasha and took the baby in her arms, lifting him up high into the air.

“Oh my goodness, you have wings on your back? Oh my, oh my! How cute are these wings…! Who on earth is our baby? Oh, our baby, you are so amazing!”

Cradling the baby, Kalia twirled around and kissed Sasha’s forehead.

“Waaah!”

The sound of the baby’s laughter made Simon and Allen, who were lost in thought, snap back to reality.

The two men were quite stunned by Kalia’s reaction, which was completely different from theirs.

“Kalia. Kalia, calm down for a moment. This… Maybe… Are those fairy wings?”

“I’m not sure, but maybe. Look at this, Simon. Isn’t he so cute? Isn’t our Sasha so cute?” Kalia said.

“Of course, he’s so cute. Even if he had horns on his head, he’d still be adorable… But I’ve never seen fairy with wings before.”

“I don’t know much about that either. Well, anyway, I know these wings suit our Sasha very well.”

“Yes, I can see that. But does that mean we’ll just like him because he’s cute?”

“Well, why not? Our Sasha is cute and it doesn’t seem to be causing any problems. And his wings aren’t hurting anyone, are they?”

“Well… there’s no problem or harm.”

Despite the fact that the baby had awakened a dragon egg and sprouted wings on his back, she seemed unfazed.

Kalia had a face that said she would be fine as long as Sasha didn’t get hurt.

She kissed Sasha’s forehead again and shrugged.

“Simon, even if Sasha were to become a monster, I wouldn’t be surprised. As you know, the blood flowing through her veins is not ordinary.”

It was a difficult thing to say, but Kalia said it calmly.

She had experienced her mother’s tragedy and her own, so she knew the value of a life, even if it were a monster.

As a result, no matter what adversities and difficulties befall this girl, she will be willing to protect Sasha and find a way to be happy together.

“So, all we have to do is protect and love this child so that he doesn’t get hurt and his birth doesn’t become a tragedy. Right?”

So, right now, there is nothing wrong with this situation…

As Kalia spoke, Simon’s heart skipped a beat at her gaze.

Yes, she was right.

He had to always remember how special the woman he loved was and how special this baby born of his love was.

Simon looked at her and smiled as if it was nothing out of the ordinary.

He lowered his head and looked at Sasha, meeting the baby’s forehead with his own and said.

“Our Sasha is incredibly special. Well, I wasn’t ordinary when I was young either. I guess this level of exceptionalism isn’t anything extraordinary for my son, right?”

“…Huu?”

Sasha tilted his head and put his hand on Simon’s cheek.

Somehow, instead of touching him, it feels like he punched his father, who is too shy, but… it must be an illusion

Then, suddenly, Simon felt a faint magic from the baby’s forehead.

Feeling strange, he sent his own magic to the baby’s forehead, and a green seal appeared with a faint light above the round forehead.

“What is this?”

When he raised an eyebrow and looked at him, the seal on his forehead became more and more clear.

Hearing the magic flowing from there, the Hetchling trapped in the baby carriage went crazy.

“Kyao! Kyao kyao!”

Above the Hetchling’s forehead, which was hanging on the baby carriage railing and flapping around, there was a seal with the same shape and color as Sasha’s.

Wings were attached to the back of the Hetchling, which was going crazy, wanting to get close to Sasha and leave the baby carriage.

However, the wings were too small compared to its size and didn’t help at all.

Judging from the seal on the forehead of the young dragon and the affection it showed, it was probably Simon’s son who imprinted on that dragon.

What the hell had happened while he was away?

Simon glanced at the spirits standing frozen around the dragon.

“Well, you all saw what happened.”

Simon immediately shared the memories of the spirits.

A video from the memories of the spirits played.

While Allen and Derek chatted and took out medicine, the dragon egg that was placed neatly wriggled.

The Hatchling, crouched in the semi-transparent egg, looked restless.

As the egg continued to shake, Sasha, who was playing in the stroller, reacted.

“Booooo?”

The baby, which tilted his head, struggled as if trying to get up.

After a few more wriggles, the baby suddenly flipped over.

“Oh my… to succeed on the first try of flipping over…!”

As soon as he tried it for the first time, he immediately managed to turn around, and Allen, who was watching the footage, clapped his hands as if he was excited.

Kalia nodded as if it was natural.

Derek also clapped in surprise.

The video, which was momentarily interrupted by Allen’s excitement, continued.

Sasha, who was groaning while lying down, or maybe wanting to stand up, eventually gave up with a sigh.

At that moment, the shaking egg fell down and began to roll towards the ground bit by bit.

The moment the water bird beeped and cried in surprise, Sasha raised his head and at the same time, wings sprouted from the baby’s back.

“Wow.”

At that moment, everyone watching the video held their breath.

The sight of the baby’s small wings spreading wide open into the air was enough to take their breath away and make their hearts race.

The baby flapped his wings vigorously and, without stumbling for a moment, flew accurately and slowly towards the spinning egg.

The baby, who was holding the egg with open arms, then wobbled up into the air.

The water bird that came down pushed the egg with its head and gave the baby strength.

At that moment, a small crack began to appear at the top of the egg.

Crack, crackle.

The thick eggshell broke apart with a sound like rocks shattering, and Allen and Derek, who were packing medicine, turned around to see the baby holding the egg in midair.

“Sasha Sasha!”

“Hyuk!”

Startled, Allen ran over and picked up the baby and the egg that was floating in the air.

That was the moment.

Crack!!

The eggshell fell to the ground with a cracking sound.

In the bright light, Allen fell backwards and the egg and baby fell to the ground.

“Oh no!”

Startled, Allen jumped in from behind, but was unable to raise his face properly due to the dazzling light.

How many seconds have passed?

The light faded and turned into small dots that accumulated on the ground.

“…Kyao?”

Something raised its head with an unknown but very cute cry.

The baby dragon, flapping its delicate white wings, looked up to find Sasha, who was lying on the ground.

“Kyao!”

Hatchling ran to the baby on his short legs, hugged Sasha and cried.

The sound that came out was filled with joy.

A green seal was shining on the foreheads of the two babies who were facing each other.

“Hmm.”

Kalia, who was watching a video recreated based on the memories of the spirits, bent down and looked at the white dragon attached to the baby.

While Hatchling revealed this to Simon, it behaved like a gentle lamb in front of Kalia.

When Kalia gently scratched the baby dragon’s chin, its short thick tail wagged gently.

Kalia smiled softly and asked in a gentle voice.

“It’s strange. After watching the video, it doesn’t seem like Sasha gave you magic, so how did you two become bonded?”

“Kyao…”

Hatchling made an innocent crying sound as if it didn’t know anything.

It seemed difficult to get any answers from this young dragon.

‘If that’s the case, we just need to summon someone who might know the answer.’

Hmm, Kalia, who was tapping her chin, called out to the sleeping spirit by tapping her bracelet.

“Gaia.”
