Silverhart Online 26 Party Camp

Nighttime falls upon the land and we find Gray and Isamu sitting near a bonfire as they currently make camp somewhere in a safe clearing.

Now out of his armor in favor of comfort, Isamu is seen to be dressed in a blue shirt with long pants and brown boots.

"Kah, now this is the life." Isamu initiates the conversation as a solemn smile is shown on his face. "The pleasant breeze of the night, the warm feeling of the fire, and the beautiful stars above that grace over this majestic land. This is the life, partner!!"

"I agree." Gray nods in understanding with the Cat-folk. "It sure is a pleasant change after the incident with the Bandits a while ago."

"Haha, you read my mind, my Elven friend!!" Isamu chuckles as he stretches his muscular arms.

Gray returns the gesture with a friendly smile of his own. As they bask themselves on the solace of darkness, the Elf took this ideal opportunity to recollect on the important things that have transpired during the skirmish with the Bandits.

Having leveled up, Gray spends his Attribute points just like how he usually does.

While Gray cast his spells against the Bandits a while ago, he remembers a notification subtly appearing stating that his skills that he has used in the said battle have leveled up upon constant practice.

Checking his Active skills, indeed they have reached the next level.

(Active) (Lvl 2, 0.9%)

The rest of his skills are still at Lvl 1 though since he did not get the chance to use it in the last battle. But all of them are at around 95% of skill XP, so it will only be a matter of time.

Speaking of which, an idea suddenly pops into Gray's mind as he stood up and decided to test something out.

"What are you doing?" Isamu questions the Elf on what he is up to.

The Cat-folk's eyes instantly widen at witnessing Gray suddenly using , leaving a trail of wind behind.

Upon arriving on his spot, Gray immediately checks his SKILL again. Witnessing Blink's Skill XP raising a bit, Gray was definitely overjoyed by this prospect.

"Hehe." Gray's eyes gleamed in excitement. "Level exploit, here I come."

"Hahaha!!" The Elf heard Isamu laughing behind at his predicament as the latter stood up. "I know what you are thinking about, Gray, but I'm afraid you'll be in for a world of disappointment."

"What do you mean?" Gray tilts his head in genuine confusion.

Isamu smiles as he begins explaining how exactly the Skill levels work in Silverhart. "You may be correct about Skills leveling at repetitive use but there are limitations though."

"Limitations?" Gray frowns at this.

"You see." Isamu continues his statement. "Skill levels are also in line with our own Player levels. At Player levels 10 to 20, Skill levels are capped at level 2 in 100% XP. Once having reached that point, there's no going past that unless progressing your Player level beyond what I have mentioned. To make things short:"

Player Level: 10 to 20 – Skill Level: 1 to 2

Player Level: 20 to 30 – Skill Level: 3 to 4

Player Level: 30 to 40 – Skill Level: 3 to 4

Player Level: 40 to 50 – Skill Level: 4 to 5

"Tsk, what a bummer." Gray clicks his tongue in absolute annoyance as he quietly muttered under his breath. "There goes my plan of Skyrim leveling."

"Wait." Gray suddenly added as he could not help but asks about the information provided to him. "Based on your explanation, is 50 the maximum Player level? While Skill Level at 5?"

"Only Skill Levels." Isamu clarifies. "It is speculated that Player Levels don't have a limit. The highest that a mortal has ever achieved currently is around a hundred while the more powerful creatures of this land are said to go even beyond that."

Gray nods in appreciation, being grateful at Isamu for explaining that particular game mechanic to him.

Indeed, such information is truly valuable in his progressive path to power.

Anyways, Gray opted to shift the nature of the conversation, involving him checking out Isamu's UI. After all, the Elf is intrigued by the Cat-folk's Class and the Skills that associate with it.

"You wish to check my UI?" Isamu crosses his arms as he agrees. "Very well, and I'm interested in yours as well. Do you also want me to access your INVENTORY?"

Gray ponders this for a moment. If he agrees with Isamu, then his items, most especially the ones that are Godly in nature, the and will be revealed to the Cat-folk.

And the Elf is not exactly comfortable in revealing such valuable items yet, especially to a guy that he just met a few hours ago, even when Isamu seems trustworthy in Gray's eyes.

"I appreciate if my belongings remain unseen for the time being," Gray spoke seriously. "After all, it's common courtesy to respect someone's privacy."

SPEECH CHECK: 29

SPEECH REQUIREMENTS: 11

YOU RECEIVED 5 XP

"Heh, you got a point." Isamu completely agrees with the Elf. "I would also feel uncomfortable if someone other than myself pries into my own belongings. Wouldn't want them seeing my stack of mead and beer and getting any funny ideas, right? Hahaha!!"

'Glad that was a bullet I was able to dodge.' Gray thought with utter relief as he laughed as well.

After both of them agreed in the exchange of UI information and sitting down near the bonfire, Gray starts reading about Isamu's attributes, class, and his skills.

"Hehe, right?" Isamu smirks proudly. "Yours is not so bad either. With such wicked skillset in your arsenal, you are indeed someone that I want guarding my back. Not to mention that Hunger ability of yours, it's certainly powerful."

Gray merely smirks in appreciation at the compliment.

"A Champion," Gray then utters the class. Then his curiosity got piqued as he asks. "Why did you choose that one? With you being a Cat-folk, I'm sure a Rogue Class might suit you better."

"It's a long story," Isamu says with a smile. "I'll tell you the short version of my grand tale hehe."

With the night being young, the pair continued their discussion in the comforting heat of the bonfire, wallowing in the exalted twilight that Silverhart is known for.
