The sound of divine rainbows streaking through the sky never stopped, more and more cultivators rushed over from the horizon. Ye Fan was not affected by this. He quickly hurried away from the ruins, following his previous path towards the five finger-like mountains.

“What the…” Ye Fan was amazed to find that the area he had just been in, once full of lush vegetation, was now lacking any vitality. In front of him, the five stone mountains had turned completely barren with nothing on them. Furthermore, they were no longer as tall, looking just like five ordinary hills.

Passing by the five stone mounts, no matter how far he went, he didn’t lose his direction, nor find an amazing holy land. All that was in front of him was rubble, a completely desolate and quiet scene.

“This is the right direction…” Ye Fan was convinced this was the right region, but the scene in front of him was completely different from that holy land which seemed to have completely disappeared.

Ye Fan felt as if he was stuck in a fantasy. Closing his eyes, he even tried to sense the pulses of the Demon Emperor’s heart again, but couldn’t sense anything. This place was completely empty, a desolate and barren wasteland.

He carefully checked over all of this region, and in the end, he could only helplessly accept that this was simply the truth; this place was not some holy land, just a deathly five-kilometer region of sand and stone with absolutely no life.

“What is going on…?” Ye Fan frowned. Once more arriving at the five stone mountains, he suddenly found the corner of a sleeve at the bottom of the centermost mountain.

Ye Fan once more carefully checked over this region, but he was disappointed. This barren land was now completely empty, and there were no longer any more traces of Pang Bo or the other Greater Demons.

He went over this area many times, yet he was unable to find anything. Tired, he lay down upon the sandy ground and carefully thought about it. He sighed, realizing that his strength was simply not enough to even find Pang Bo. And even if he were to find the trail, there was no way for him to save his friend.

In the end, all Ye Fan could do was leave. He didn’t know if he would ever be able to see Pang Bo again.

Having arrived at the other side of the starry sky, the two of them had helped each other through life and death. Now that they had been separated, Ye Fan felt a heavy sense of loss as he walked away.

He was now several kilometers away from the Demon Emperor’s tomb. By this time, numerous cultivators had already assembled at that bright and floating ancient palace.

Just at this moment, a rumbling sound rang out and the sky began to tremble.

An ancient gold war chariot densely covered with carved Dao Glyphs and an austere air had arrived. It was pulled by nine powerful green Flood Dragons. Bursts of gales and thunder came from it, suppressing the sky as it surged over. A powerful hostile air surged out of it like a tsunami.

In the distance, the numerous cultivators all sucked in a breath of cold air. Another powerful entity had appeared. Only those cultivators from the Ancient Desolation Noble Ji Family seemed happy.

The nine cyan Flood Dragons quickly rushed forwards upon clouds while carrying the golden ancient war chariot. They stopped in front of the Ji Family’s cultivators before becoming completely silent.

Before people could recover from this shock, a burst of heavenly immortal music came from the distance. The sky suddenly became full of falling flower petals that sparkled brightly, and a fragrance burst out everywhere. Beautiful fairy-like immortal figures appeared, surging towards the tomb, their garments fluttering, possessed of an ageless air.

They were brightly colored, riding a fragrant chariot made of interwoven divine flowers. They filled the sky with raining and graceful sparkling flower petals, making the ruins appear exceptionally beautiful.

The cultivators were all startled; yet another similarly powerful force had arrived. The ancient palace had truly disturbed all the powerful cultivators, causing them all to rush over.

Ye Fan had already calmed down, and although he hadn’t found Pang Bo, he firmly believed that Pang Bo wouldn’t die. Sooner or later, there would be a day when he would meet his brother again.

“Stronger, I have to get stronger! I cannot allow others to control my fate!”

Ye Fan’s eyes were full of loss, but a clear light arose within them, and an unswerving determination and confidence arose. “The immortal energy traps the Great Emperor of the demon clan left behind have already reached their lowest point after these countless years. Their fluctuation patterns have also already been unraveled by us. It’s basically time for us to take action,” came a clear and cold voice from the jade carriage pulled by the nine qilin beasts. The voice was not very loud, but it still clearly spread everywhere, and almost every cultivator began to tremble.

This supreme figure was about to take action!

“Right, it really is possible to open the Demon Emperor’s tomb now,” replied a gentle voice from a woman that no one had noticed before. None of them doubted her strength. To dare converse with that supreme figure within the jade carriage, she was definitely on the same level.

“Our few groups have already occupied the best regions and have dominance. If we open the tomb now, we’ll definitely profit greatly!” another imposing voice came from the sky. Each word struck like lightning, deafening everyone.

A pleasant and melodious voice rose from that fragrant carriage made from divine flowers that was raining flower petals, “Since it’s like this, let’s just begin.”

“We will forcefully open the Demon Emperor’s tomb. In order to avoid harming bystanders, everyone else should retreat,” said an austere, aged voice from the Ji Family’s golden ancient war chariot. The voice was like a tsunami as it shook everyone, even the sky trembled before the incomparable might it possessed.

These five mysterious persons had all spoken out in succession, terrifying people down to their very souls. Their voices had the effect of rumbling thunder, shaking everyone’s spirits and making their bodies sway back and forth, unable to do anything but retreat far away. 

The five mysterious persons didn’t wish to wait any longer, since other supreme and powerful cultivators were all rushing over here. With the five of them joining forces, they could forcibly break into the Demon Emperor’s tomb now and seize the treasures before others arrived.

Although Ye Fan was over four kilometers away, he still felt a terrifying fluctuation. His heart shivered, and without any hesitation he quickly fled several kilometers further away.

Not long later, the sound of an earth-shattering, heaven-shaking explosion came from the direction of the Demon Emperor’s tomb, making people’s souls shudder. Resplendent divine light broke through the skies like a volcano erupting, connecting heaven and earth, and an absolutely endless demonic energy surged out. Dazzling lights gushed out in all directions. Many cultivators were like sand in the face of this powerful surge, sent flying back. Despite how far they had retreated, they were still affected by the ripples.

In the distance, Ye Fan was overwhelmed with shock. Even as far away as he was, he was still hit by the battering waves. Many plants and trees were broken, and even quite a few stone mounds were sent rolling. Even after he ducked behind a stone hillside he still felt somewhat alarmed.

This Demon Emperor’s tomb was too formidable. Countless years had already passed, and the immortal energy traps the demon clan’s Great Emperor had arranged were all extremely weak. But once it was attacked by an outside force, it still exploded out with such a terrifying demonic might. Just how powerful was that Great Emperor which had managed to unite all of the Eastern Wasteland’s demons back in the day? 

“The Demon Emperor truly was worthy of being capable of looking down on all the Eastern Wasteland’s cultivators. The seal he left behind when he was alive still possesses such a frightening might. Just this small arrangement he left shows the exceptional bearing he had during his lifetime!”

Only five indistinct figures could be seen remaining in front of that ancient temple. Their silhouettes were unclear; all he could see were five piercingly dazzling lights floating there, all seeming to sigh.

“The Great Emperors of the demon clan truly were frighteningly talented, experts completely unrivaled within their generations!”

“The leftover demonic energy within this tomb today might not even be a tenth of his might during his peak, yet it still possesses such a formidable might, it truly does shock people.”

The five persons might be speaking like this, but they didn’t lower their guard. They were building up all the divine energy within their bodies to release an even more domineering and mighty attack.

Like a divine ocean overflowing the heavens, heaven and earth became filled with countless dazzling lights as an endless divine splendor battered the boundless surging demonic energy. The air at the Demon Emperor’s tomb seemed to be boiling over.

All of the cultivators were watching from very away now, not daring to stay close.

These five figures continuously attacked using their weapons. They shook the Demon Emperor’s tomb, and the light masked the very sun, causing all of heaven and earth to tremble.

Endless divine light collided with the formidable demonic energy, and power exploded out in all directions.

Time passed, and the five of them had attacked countless times before a small crack appeared in the corner of the Demon Emperor’s tomb.

BOOM!

Once more attacking together, five weapons shot out divine light containing those five people’s Qi and divine energy, finally tearing open that corner of the tomb. 

Chi, chi, chi…

Just at this moment, multicolored rays shot out of the crack in the tomb, flying in all directions. The spiritual weapons were fleeing of their own accord!

The five persons all stretched out enormous hands to grab them, but there were still many lights that escaped their grasp, either charging towards the distant horizon or hiding within the mountain forest. 

At this moment, all of the distant observing cultivators quickly flew in all directions. Some chased the weapons across the horizon, while others entered the depths of the forest, all chasing after those multicolored lights.

Chi!

One green light pierced into the mountain Ye Fan was on, easily entering into the wall of the cliff. Ye Fan was startled, never thinking that he would actually gain something while hiding so far away.

The five great figures once more attacked together, using their five weapons to attack the Demon Emperor’s tomb!
