Next morning, Zinu and John was ready to go their duty.They didn't want to go, as their grandma was I'll. But, Miss Fue arrived in the morning,and Mrs. Smith convinced them to go.She woke up in the morning and called Miss Fue immediately.She knew both John and Zinu,would not leave her in home alone. She did not want them to left their work for her.

"I am fine now. You go to work.You need not to abandon your work for no reason.Fue is here to take care of me. Now go and get ready. " Mrs. Smith said with determination.

"But,grandma...." Zinu tried to oppose, but Mrs. Smith did not listen.

"No,buts.I am bored to see your face.Now go."

So,Zinu shrugged her shoulder and left with John.

On the way Zinu dropped Ronnie at his new school. John wanted to drop Ronnie himself, but he could not take any risk.So, Zinu dropped him and reached her office, after submitting the samples for DNA test,in a hospital.

Zinu tried to busied herself in the work. But, again she could not concentrate on work.She was worried for her mother and Mrs. Angel.At last she decided to call her mother. She did not call her yesterday as she did not know what to say her. She knew her mother is very upset.But ,what could she do? Until she could knew the total truth behind John and Mrs. Angel's rift, she could not take anyone's side.

"Mom, are you fine? " Zinu said her mother after the call was connected.

"Mom, I am sorry for yesterday."

"Oh dear! Don't worry. John called me yesterday.He sounded very sorry himself.I think there must be some reason behind his behavior yesterday.He loves his grandmother.He must be panicked to see her condition.You should support you husband and take proper care your grandmother-in -law.I have seen, John really cares for you."Sofia replied in calm voice.

Zinu smiled at her mother's words. She felt relieved. She thanked her mother and hung up. She thanked John in her mind for his thoughtfulness.Atleast a call from him was very much soothing for her mother.

After the phone call she again started her work with new enthusiasm.After lunch, Charlie called and informed her that she had to submit that day's report to the CEO. He also informed her that,there would be a few directors also present there.It was Charlie's duty, but he had to attend some emergency matters at country C in place of John.So,he would be leaving the country within one hour. Zinu was very nervous to know that.She entered John's office only twice. First time on her interview and second time on her first day of joining in the job.

She hurriedly completed her work and collected reports of other assistants. She had to make a final report to present.

"Oh god! Why am I feeling so nervous. You have done this type of work so many times,Zinu.You can do it. Only concentrate on your work."She murmured.

By the evening,she prepared the final report which she had to present in front of the CEO.

In the evening, when she had to submit the report, she reached in front of CEO's office. She was trembling, as for nervousness. She knocked the door and heard John's voice."Come in."

Hearing his deep sexy voice,like a magic,she calmed down,

'Zinu, his voice has such effect on you!!Isn't it strange?" She asked herself.

She shrugged her shoulders and entered his office. In his office there were six directors were waiting for the report,which would be presented by Zinu.

One of the directors, complaint that, in medicine department of Smith Enterprise, John's people had accepted a large amount of money as bribe for the post of Accountant.When this matter came to John's notice, he immediately instructed his investigator to see the matter. Generally, this type of matter is handled by Charlie, but, he too had to left the country in rush to attend the emergency matters in country C. One of the flat collapsed, which was under construction under the banner of Smith Enterprise. Two workers got injured. Actually, John had to attend that case himself, but due to this bribery case he could not leave.It seems that, someone was trying to make things hard for John. The bribery victim claiming that, she had proof in her hands.But, the video she presented in front of investigators was not clear. So, John's investigators had to work hard to find the truth.Some directors trying to find any loophole in Smith Enterprise for long time. So, that day they got the chance.

"Good evening,everyone." Zinu bowed and wished everyone. One of the directors ,Mr.Henry Lee's eyes shone, to see her, which did not escape from John's eyes. He clutched his fists tightly. Zinu presented the report in efficient way. Everyone was impressed in her speaking style.

"Well-done Miss Wilson. Your voice is so sweet.I am happy that Smith Enterprise had hired you. If you have any plans to leave the company,you are welcome to my 'Lee Enterprise'.I will pay you handsomely." Mr. Lee said with a smirk.

Zinu felt the temperature of the room lowered by certain degrees. She looked at John. He was staring at Mr. Lee with a dangerous look.If he was not a director of the company, John would almost broke his nose.

Zinu thought for a second. She could not afford to angered both.Although John is now become the most important person in her life, after Ronnie but in her professional life, the director and the CEO both are important for her. So, she had to answer very tactfully.

"Thank you sir for your kind words.I would be happy to join your company, but Mr. John is paying me enough. I am happy with it now." Zinu replied with a smile.

John felt relieved hearing her answer. He said in cold voice, "Mr. Lee seems to like all the things, under Smith Enterprise including my assistant.But I think you should take care of your problems first. Have you came out clean of the **** case of your assistant? Or if you need some help, you can tell me. I am here ready to help you. "

Hearing his words Mr. Lee's face paled.But, he controlled himself immediately and said with a smile."Mr.Smith is really an interesting person. He can joke about anything."He tried to lighten the situation.

John said with determination, "I can do so many things, that you could not believe."

Zinu felt helpless in this situation. She tried to left the office as soon as possible. So, she coughed lightly to get attention of John, "Boss, if nothing else, can I go? " She asked in low voice.

"No.I have some work for you. You wait there. " John said by pointing to a couch.

Zinu helplessly nodded her head and sat on the couch which was kept in the corner. John discussed with them the about the report that presented ,some more time and finally they left.
