Reincarnation of the Cheater 10 Dungeon Boss?

After finally making it to the second floor I reached level 9 with more than enough experience to level to 10 but I decided to hold out on that since we're fighting the dungeon boss on the next floor and I might need the healing that leveling up gives me. The little fox that I named kit is surprisingly holding its own against monster at a higher level, I guess it has something to do with it being a variant? Well, I never really checked its skills- Ah! how could I forget about skill steal, alright there are kobolds that everyone is fighting, alright let's check.

After using the skill and checking my status it really showed up, however, looking around I can see that at least Finn and Marvin noticed I used a skill on the kobold that was running away as it slowed down by 30%. They probably think it's magic or something. Heading through the dungeon I decided to put in enough skill points into presence detection to hit level 4 as we head to the 3rd floor. Before we enter Finn starts to talk.

"Alright everyone, we reached here together so let's end this together as well. The next room is the boss room, the boss is a king kobold which is a monster that only C rank adventurers can solo, but because the guild has put a special barrier on the dungeon the king kobold can't level so he is stuck at level 1, DO NOT let that make you cocky even I would have to be careful while soloing it and I am a C ranked adventurer. Get into any fighting stance that makes you comfortable and get ready to follow my orders. One to look out for is when he screams you need to get as far away from him as you can because that scream causes the abnormal effect of confusion and terror. Other than that you guys should manage."

Everyone feels the seriousness in his words and does as he says. Grabbing a hold of our weapons some have their hands gripping their weapons really tight, some are used to this, and me, well I'm pretty excited I mean it's a boss, I'm well stacked with cheats I have a healing card that can heal any fatal wound is there anything else I need let's just go it isn't like this thing can stand us anyways.

"Alright everyone seems ready. Follow Me!" he says as he opened the huge rusted door.

As the door opens the sound of something scratching the floors reaches my ears. Looking all around the floor it seems to just be a huge cave, in the middle is a huge kobold with 4 kobolds around it.

Seems OP, but it also seems like I can get it off any king class monster, next.

I'm immune to these so I shouldn't really worry about them huh, next.

This is probably gonna help us a lot.

The second I take the skill everyone stops as the air turns cold. Looking at the kobolds they all had their head chopped off and someone is standing on top of the king kobold as its face shows fear and subordination. We make eye contact with the person who has a light grey skin tone, little horns on his head, black hair, dark black eyes, and a savage smirk on his face as he looks at us in contempt.

"Demon" Finn says in a whisper to us but it seems that it was loud enough for him to hear us, he looks towards me with determination in his dark black eyes and starts to talk.

"Since you humans aren't my target I'll give you a chance. Leave now or stay forever, the one I want is the silver-haired male the rest of you are just weaklings anyway." he says as if he is looking at a bunch of trash.

After seeing his stats I turn around and look at everyone and with the most serious face I can make.

"Leave now, this is my problem and it seems that it only wants me. Take his offer and leave me behind." I say as everyone else is quiet, looking at everyone it seems that Marvin disappeared, he most likely used his stealth since I can detect his presence but not his exact location.

"No, I'm responsible for you, I took you in here to train so you can see how adventurers work. An adventurer doesn't retreat in the face of a demon and it won't stop me just because it's stronger than us." Finn says as he starts to walk forward with a deadpanned face and some sort of aura around his sword it looks like he was never really serious. I walk in front of him and stop him from advancing to the demon.

I get close to his face and whisper in his ear, "Leave but don't go farther than the entrance to the second floor, I will be there shortly. I can handle this myself who do you think I am." I say turning towards the demon with the same relaxed expression.

"Marvin, we're leaving if you don't leave with me your adventurer license will be revoked and you won't be able to sign up again until next year." Finn seeing that he didn't want to leave threatened him and finally he appears with the group again as they take their leave. He waves his hand while facing the exit and says, "See you later." and as they leave the door slams shut and darkness fills the room as the demon starts to talk.
