Records Of Barton's Fantastical Events Chapter 50

Chapter 50: Chapter 16 Interrogation

The night breeze blew across the wilderness, the grass that had just emerged from the soil shivered under the night sky, and the low humming sound of beasts accompanied by the sound of cracking bones. The brown-black hair grew and retracted strangely, and the back muscles wriggled and rolled under the skin. That was Benjamin trying to suppress his wolfishness.

In the distance, under the starlight, the white skin glowed with a silver radiance gave off a cold feeling. The rustling sound of the limbs rubbing against the ground added a hint of chill to the night.

“What are you doing!” A beam of a flashlight shone from the direction of the Grande Funeral Home, and Old Hank with a hunched back walked towards this side. After the beam of light in his hand swept past two young people, he said, “Are you going to give up Grande Funeral Home?!”

“Zachary!” Old Hank was wearing only thin clothes, and barefoot. His chest was undulating rapidly, and there were bloodstains on his skinny arms, which were clearly caused by being tied by a rope, “Stop!”

Under the stars, the arched back that reflected the cold light suddenly stopped moving! One of the arms that Zach used to press the person under him moved forward, covering the bloody chin, and his dark red began to fade in his eyes. He slowly turned his head, and the beam of the flashlight stopped on his face.

“Han, Hank.” Zach wiped his lips with his arm, facing the light. He squinted, only seeing the outline of Old Hank, “I'm sorry.”

The light of the flashlight shifted, and Old Hank walked to the other side with staggering and hurried footsteps, “Benjamin! Don't give up on yourself…”

Zach turned his head and looked down at the man whose eyes had already lost focus, and there was only a weak breath coming in and out of his slightly opened mouth. Zach leaned over to his ear, “You are very lucky.”

After returning to the Grande Funeral Home and settling the two intruders in the funeral home, Zach noticed the injuries on Old Hank's body. All his limbs had bloodstains and bruises from struggling after being tied up by a rope. The vampire took out a glass, bit his wrist, and handed the old man the blood that could heal all injuries. The old man pushed away the glass, declined Zach's kindness, and returned to his room in silence.

I remember I said, this is a strange old man.

Benjamin's condition was not good. His clothes had been completely shredded by his Alpha skin, and the red blood and sweat were mixed in between his exuberant body hair. Jim, who temporarily appeared in the image of James, put on gloves and pulled out many two-finger thick metal stakes. Then the bloody wounds began to heal slowly.

Zach had put on new clothes and stood at the door of Benjamin's warehouse.

The werewolf's nose wrinkled up, and did not look at the vampire: “Not now, I need a human.”

Zach nodded and moved away, revealing Alice behind him. The banshee was still trembling, holding hot water and a towel in her hand, and walked towards Benjamin, who was covered in blood.

One was a werewolf that was fighting with his wolfishness, and the other was a vampire who was ‘glowing' from drinking blood. Yes, these two people should not stay in the same place at this time. Why would they become friends? When Zach is in a good mood, I will ask him this question for you.

Zach stood at the door, confirmed that Benjamin was okay, then left the warehouse and walked to the basement of the Grande Funeral Home, where two humans were being hung!

Zach pulled off the strip of cloth from the mouth of the guy who was still conscious. Benjamin had always been the ‘kind one' of the two ‘brothers', so this guy didn't have many injuries.

“You better kill us! You blood-sucking bastard! ! Otherwise, I will cut off your head-”

Zach shoved the cloth back in again, returned to the office, and dialed James' number.

“This is James Rance, please leave a message.”

Zach hung up the phone and went back to the basement again, pulling out the man's cloth strip.

“You son of-”

The man was stopped again.

Zach's index finger was inserted into the man's left chest. The strong undulation wrapped around the vampire's extended fingertip, passing the warmth and rapid beating into the vampire's senses.

“Shhh~” Zach's finger was steadily pierced through the man's chest, and he held the glass rejected by the old Hank without expression and placed it on the man's trembling lips, “The choice is yours. So which one will it be?”

The man could clearly feel the sharp object being pushed deeper and deeper into his body, and his lower lip was deformed by the transparent glass edge that was pushed against it, and the soft clicking sound of was his uncontrolled teeth colliding with the glass edge.

Zach looked at the man with his light green eyes. Fine sweat beads constantly seeping out from the pores on the man's skin, and Zach's cold face was reflected in the man's constricted pupils.

Zach's finger began to slowly withdraw, and blood began to leak from the internal wound that had lost its ‘plug'.

The sound of gasp came from the mouth of the man who was being hung, the protruding Adam's apple at his neck was moving constantly. Death accompanied by the feeling coming from the chest became clearer and clearer!

“Very good.” Zach smiled.

The man stretched his neck desperately, trying to tilt the glass in Zach's hand so that he could reach the liquid that could heal everything!

Zach raised the bottom of the glass cooperatively, watching the bright red blood being greedily drunk, and then threw away the glass in his hand.

“A very smart choice.” Zach looked at the man with a smile, but the finger that he was pulling back, stopped moving! The strong throbbing and warmth still envelop his fingertip!

“What are you doing!” The man's expression turned to panic! “Remove your hand! !”

“Why should I do that?” Zach still smiled: “We have seen how you are afraid of death. You even drank the enemy's blood to stay alive. So, wouldn't it be good, then, if I gave you the right to eternal life?”

The man's body trembled violently in the air! He was struggling! But as if Old Hank wanted to vent his anger of being tied up before, the struggle of the man who was tied up by him was just as futile as an insect hitting a spider web.

“Get out of my body!” The man's tied limbs couldn't move at all, and his trembling body could only accelerate his process of entering another form of life! The only thing he could do was continue to curse the vampire in front of him!

Zach kept smiling. When the blood of vampires finds that the wound cannot be healed, they will begin the ultimate healing work.

If you have a fatal wound that cannot be healed, such as the heart that Zach's finger inserted. How can the blood of a vampire, the thing that can heal everything, save your life? The answer is simple, change. Can't heal the wound? Then turn you into a creature that can continue to live even if there is a hole in the heart.

“Get out! Get out! …” The man's face became extremely pale! The hysterical howls echoed through the basement.

“Relax, relax.” Zach's posture remained unchanged, and his smile remained the same. “It will take a while. This is a once-in-lifetime experience, and you will want to feel it well.”

“No Please no! ! I don't want to become a vampire! Don't make me a vampire! !”

The man's hysterical voice was filled with extreme disgust.

This is the usual attitude of the hunters towards nonhumans. Zach decided to add some condiments to this. As Zach said before, this is a guy with a strong desire to live.

“Why not?” There was a hint of contrived doubt in Zach's smile: “Are you afraid that your companion will burn you to death?”

“No…” There was something more in the man's fear, and he seemed to remember the professional skills he had mastered.

“Don't worry, I will teach you well.” Zach ‘comforted' the man whose heart was pierced (Author's note: still being pierced). “Perhaps, you can also tell me something about the hunters. We can help each other. In Barton, we will be the most perfect team.”

The man seemed to feel the slightest turning point: “I will tell you! I will tell you everything! ! As long as you leave my body!”

Zach's eyes slightly curved, this was the sincere smile of the vampire…

If you think that vampires can only rely on the hypnotizing eyes, then you are underestimating someone's three or four hundred years of life.

This is the vampire's art of torture. Do you want to die? Do you want to be the thing that you hate the most in your life? Do you want to be the thing you hate the most and be killed by your companions? Kind people, please do not try this at home.
