When she confirmed that Ji Yue had fallen asleep, Xia Liang got back on her feet and hopped across Ji Yue over to the pillow.

She turned around to check if she woke Ji Yue up. Then she hopped down off the bed and then out of the window.

Fortunately a cat could jump very well. It took her one day to get used to her cat body. Now she could jump off the window at ease.

Xia Liang's black fur was overshadowed by the darkness of night. And she moved swiftly, hard to spot.

"Woof!" Liang, I thought you can't make it. What took you so long?

When Benben saw Liang, he picked himself up, barked at her and wagged his tail.

"Meow." I had to wait until Ji Yue fell asleep.

"Woof!" You slept with him now?

Xia Liang nodded but she didn't why, but his words sounded a little weird.

Although it was a fact that she slept on the same bed with Ji Yue.

"Meow." Let's go to the horse ranch now, urged Xia Liang after she failed to figure out why his words sounded a little weird.

Her plan was to check the horse ranch. So she had to hurry up and got back before Ji Yue woke up.

Because she had a feeling that it would be terribly difficult to get out again if Ji Yue caught her getting out.

"Woof!" Liang, Jump on my back! I'm gonna carry you.

Benben was worried that her small cat body couldn't catch up with him later.

As the wind was howling past them, trees on both sides of the road were left behind. Xia Liang could barely open her eyes against the wuthering wind and she rocked up and down on Benben's back, which made her feel sick.

Finally about a quarter later, Benben slowed down and then stopped.

They arrived at the horse ranch.

Xia Liang hopped off from Benben's back. The moment she touched the ground, she almost fell down.

"Meow." Can you smell your master now?

Asked Xia Liang after taking some time to regain the tactile sense of her little paws.

In the south of the ranch, it was the stable and bungalow where horse guardians lived.

"Meow." Benben, I will go to the stable and ask the horses if they have ever seen your master.

"Woof." Those arrogant guys are impossible to talk to. Every time I talk to them, they snorted at me. They never speak with me. Hum!

Benben was not happy that Liang was going to talk to those horses.

The horses were very mean to him. He barely talked to them because they were not easy to catch a conversation.

At that moment, another horse woke up. He neighed at Xia Liang. Apparently he was startled.

 "Meow." Sorry that I startled you.

Xia Liang turned around and apologized.

"Neigh." Why are you running about instead of sleep at home? Go away!

This horse was obviously grumpy and raised his hoof as if he was trying to kick Xia Liang.
