Miss Nangong was tied up but she was still struggling and screaming.

But gradually, she stopped struggling and then calmed down.

Finally, she closed her eyes and fell asleep as Ji Yue comforted her.

The maids were relived and looked at Ji Yue with respect.

"Untie her very carefully. And watch her. Don't stimulate her. Do you understand?" Ji Yue said to one maid who answered with respect.

Xia Liang was more curious about Ji Yue. He was not a member of Nangong family but he seemed to live here. And all the maids respected him and took his order.

Since he calmed down Miss Nangong and gave her a warm feeling, she assumed that he should be a doctor.

Or even better, he may be a shrink who was hired for Miss Nangong's mental disorder.

But soon enough Xia Liang was proved wrong.

"Mr. Ji, young master is home. He asks to see you in the study." A maid got him notified when Ji Yue was about to hold Xia Liang in his arms and leave Miss Nangong's room.

"Ok. I get it." Ji Yue smiled, "I will be there in a minute. Thank you."

"You are welcome. It is my job." The young maid blushed because of Ji Yue's smile.

The maid looked fine on the outside but deep inside she was screaming and shouting.

Ah!!! Mr. Ji was such a gentleman! He was out of the world! He respected everyone!

Since Ji Yue needed to talk business with Nangong Ze in the study, it was not appropriate to hold a cat in his arms. He should put her away.

But when Ji Yue gave her to Xiaomei so that she could watch Xia Liang and feed her snacks like dried fish, Xia Liang did something that startled everybody.

She hooked into Ji Yue's pants with her claws and didn't let him go like she was determined to go with him.

Because she had no clue what was happening right now. She just grabbed anything she could.

If she could join them in their conversation, she could get to know this world and the situation. So she had to go with Ji Yue.

After Ji Yue pulled her off from his pants for three times, Xia Liang clinched into his pants with four paws and even bit the bottom of his pants tightly. She didn't just let go.

 "Haha…" Ji Yue chuckled because of her series of hilarious action. He lifted his right leg up and Xia Liang swung back and forth as he moved.

Finally her teeth couldn't stand the pressure.

She then stopped biting. She shook her head and shrunk her nose. His pants didn't taste good.

"Haha…You don't want to leave me?" Ji Yue smiled and bent his knees, pinched her neck, "let go of me. I will hold you in my arms. You are coming with me. Is that ok?"

Xia Liang stared at him, trying to figure out if he was telling the truth.

Finally, she let go of him as she was so into his warm smile. Then Ji Yue scooped her up and kissed her, whispering,

"Tell me, are you a cat fairy? Or you are in fact a human in a cat's body? Huh?"

Xia Liang's hair stood up on hearing what he said.

Her cat face became a bit twisted because of horror and shock.

Ah! Ah! Ah! How?! How did he know?! Did he know it?!

Xia Liang was completely confused.

But then Ji Yue chuckled and teased her, "If you are not a cat fairy, why are you so smart, so adorable? So don't lie to me. Tell me that you are."

Xia Liang now already dropped her cat jaws!

It turned out that he was making a joke. He knew nothing at all!

Xia Liang wagged her tail and didn't want to talk to him. She adjusted her postion in his arms and stuck her butt to his face.

Ji Yue rubbed this clinging cat and smiled, then walked to the study.

"Detective Ji, I just remember one thing before Mr. Nangong went missing. Do you have some time to talk about it?"

Right before Ji Yue arrived at the study, a soft voice stopped him.

"Meow?" Detective?

Xia Liang supported herself up and looked at Ji Yue. So he was not a shrink. He was a detective!
