Potion Maker Chapter 47: Meeting Klein, part three

Pulling out a glowing red lens, Klein grinned with a ferocious look in his eyes as Cecily started to panic.

"I WILL KILL YOU!"

Seeing the glowing red lens, Cecily was to the point of erupting in a bloody fountain of rage! (AN: More extreme version of spitting blood)

"Coward! How dare you use the Flaming Blood Lens!"

The reason for Cecily's panic was that the Flaming Blood Lens was one of the Blood Demon Sect's sacred level treasures! To be specific, it was a two band sacred level treasure!

Meaning, an attack using it equals an attack from a two band sacred level practitioner!

"If I gave up at this moment, who is to say you wouldn't get revenge!? With the power you posses now, I would be asking for my head to be taken from my shoulders if I let you live!"

A maniacal laughter left Klein's mouth as he seemed to have forgotten that this was all his fault as he pointed the lens in Will's direction. A crimson glow gathered on the lens as the temperature in the surroundings picked up, causing the hint of winter in the air to vanish and the ground to crack from lack of moisture.

"Dodge!!"

With widened eyes, Cecily let out a cry as blood sprayed from her mouth.

Seeing the maniacal expression on Klein's face and the crimson light heading in his direction, a cold look flashed across his face as he let out a cold laugh.

(AN: I am going to only use '' when Will speaks with the system from now on, when speaking to the system in the mental space it will be the normal "". For his thoughts besides speaking with the system, I will just move to first person to represent his thoughts)

Is this what it feels like to be weak!?

Being the victim, but being attacked like you committed a crime!?

If I didn't know the cruelty of the world before this, I sure as hell do now!

"IF YOU WANT TO KILL ME, IT'S NOT GOING TO BE THIS EASY!!!"

With a roar of defiance and unwillingness to be trampled on, Will's body tapped into it's full potential in the presence of impending death.

The sound of his heart beating reverberated in the surroundings like a war drum as all his muscles in his body tensed, creating streams of muscle power that built up in his body. His skin lit up lightly as a turtle shell pattern became visible on his arms.

The few onlookers that hadn't escaped in fear escaped at this moment as their eyes widened in absolute horror. They realized that at this moment, they were not witnessing any normal encounter that happens in powerful families.

What they were witnessing was undeniably a declaration of war between these powerful siblings.

With eyes widened and face pale, a panicked expression appeared on Cecily's face as blood spurted from her mouth from her body's stress. She watched in horror as the red beam slammed into a still Will while the scent of burning flesh spread into the surroundings.

No! It can't be!

Not Will!

Tears slid down Cecily's face as she fell to her knees. Although the feelings between them aren't really that strong, they did spend months together from the time in the cave, to the journey to the sect. So it's inevitable that they would have some form of a connection to each other.

Most importantly, because of her status of the daughter of the head of the sect, no one wanted to attempt being friends with her out of fear of angering her father, well, out of fear of her father in general.

He's a normal father whom is overprotective of his daughter.

That being the case..

Will was her only friend!

Why wouldn't she shed tears seeing his death?

Seconds ticked by as the light faded, dust clouds that were picked up started to clear. Klein looked in the direction of the fading light as a sneer crossed his face.

"So much for being a rejected. Hah! That's what happens when you don't submit to me!"

Klein let out a satisfied laugh as he spoke mockingly to the petrified Cecily, his words causing her eyes to leak blood as more blood sprayed from her mouth.

Quickly after, she fainted..

As a gust of wind caressed his face, the expression on Klein's face turned to one of sheer horror. Looking at the light fading, Klein looked at the elder who had the same expression on his face.

In the light, they both sensed a terrifying presence!

GRAAAAAAAGH!!!

A roar similar to that of an ancient beast shook the surroundings, the sound causing the blood in the bodies of the onlookers to reverse suddenly as blood sprayed out of their orifices. A shield automatically appeared around Klein as the sound hit him

The wisps of fading light spiraled inwards like a whirlpool as the figure of a person could be seen clearer and clearer.

"I WILL KILL YOU BROTHER OF CECILY!!"

A shockwave blasted outwards as the dust in the surroundings cleared, revealing a body that consisted mostly of scorched flesh and a pair of tattered pants.

It was Will!

In the moments when the blast struck Will, the turtle shell pattern on his arms lit up as a weak shield spread outwards from his body, reducing a percentage of the damage.

The damage that broke through, seared off the flesh on his upper body as he guarded his lower body.

Even if he could regenerate to an extent and take medicine to recover fully, why would he risk losing his manhood!

This is the reason that his lower body suffered no injuries and still managed to be covered in a pair of tattered pants.

The shield that came from the patterns obviously wasn't enough to keep him alive. With the damage to his body growing by the nanosecond, he generated massive amounts of muscle power from the damage.

It was mentioned earlier, that as long as his body remains intact, he will continuously generate power which will keep him alive and allow him to posses unimaginable might. Unless destroyed in one blow, he will only die after exhausting his power and when the injuries catch up to him.

The stronger his body, the more damage he can handle, the more power he can wield in battle, the level two melee fighter Will would have died in an instant.

Luckily he broke through on the way to the sect.

With the building up of power, his body entered a strange state. The Flaming Blood Lens was exactly as it's name described. The attack consists of blood qi imbued with the fire element at the two band sacred level.

In this world, qi does exist, the people of this world. To be exact the people native to this world don't posses the body or the capability to wield qi.

An exception to this are the rejected, or those who posses the bloodline of the rejected.

Although the world has no idea that such a thing exists.

Remember, there were only three rejected recorded in history before Will.

There is guaranteed to be a cultivation system perfectly suited for the rejected, though why would those who know of it say anything?

This is where one would wonder "How does a world that only knows how to use mana, have qi in their attacks?"

Simple, powerful mana can be turned into qi and powerful qi can be turned into mana. Though no one knows of this, or what qi is, they can' t use it anyways.

Elemental energy is separate from mana and qi, normally you need a matching attribute to wield the elemental energy, but as long as it merges with mana or qi, you can absorb it with ease.

Back to the attack, his body entered a strange state, in which the blood qi and the fire element were absorbed into his body at a rapid pace.

The power he built up, the energy he absorbed, and the pain he was feeling cause him to let out the roar that reversed the flow of one's blood.

Unknowingly to Will, in the spot known as the dantian, a small sphere of energy slowly formed.

The world seemed to pause as Will's eyes turned in the direction of Klein, causing him to break into cold sweat as his body shivered.

"Elder! We need to kill this demon before he harms any innocents! Tell father that he went on a rampage and killed my guards, tell father he attacked Cecily!"

The elder nodded at Klein's suggestion and turned to leave.

"We need to make sure there is no way out for him!"

Hehe, you think I would let you live, demon!? You rejected are hated by the heavens, and as a consequence hated by the world! If I can't handle you myself and make you submit, I would rather notify the world of your existence!

If I let you live it would only be courting death on my part! Blame yourself for this mess!

Klein glared at Will as his mind rushed in a maniacal state while thinking of ways to push the consequences of today onto Will.

He was pleased with himself, because in the end no one can go against him and Cecily is unconscious so she cannot vouch for his innocence!

Lets see how this rejected reacts when he is killed by his only friend's father!
