The washroom echoed with a flushing sound as Wu Yanchen got out of it after using it.

He walked towards his closet and took a set of clothes and went to the bathroom to take a bath.

Wu Muqing was playing with his grandparents in their room. They were making different kinds of faces and making him laugh. Wu Muqing was enjoying his all.

The door of the room and a casually dressed Wu Yanchen came inside.

Upon seeing her child enter inside the room, Xiao Tan ran towards him and hugged him "How are you, my child ??"

Wu Yanchen hugged her back and replied "Good. What about you??"

Xiao Tan let go of her hug and said "We all are good. Come, come, join us three..." She dragged him towards the place where Wu Mo and Wu Muqing were seated.

He didn't had the mood to play but he couldn't even defy his mother. So he sat with them all.

But, before they all could start playing, someone's cellphone rang.

The three looked at one another asking whether it was their phone.

Wu Yanchen got up from his seat and took out his phone.

When the three realised that it was Wu Yanchen's phone ringing, they again looked at each other nodding reluctantly.

'So it was his cellphone...' Wu Mo thought.

'As always, his phone rings at the wrong time...How did I not guess it??' Xiao Tan thought.

'Daddy's ringtone never changes...' Wu Muqing facepalmed in his mind.

Wu Yanchen looked at the caller ID and headed outside the room saying "I'll join you all later. It's important."

"Is there a call which is never important to you?? hmmph!!" Xiao Tan murmured to herself.

"Yea, I agree!!" Wu Mo looked at her wife.

When she heard Wu Mo speak, she looked at him questioningly.

"Granny, you said it out loud!! Haha" Wu Muqing said whsn he saw Xiao Tan's questioning look.

Xiao Tan made an 'o' face and said "Ok, let's continue playing..." With that, the three continued again.

Wu Yanchen picked up the phone as soon as he got out of the room. "Hello Dr. Yi, Is there any update??"

Dr. Yi was appointed by him for treating Yan Rong. He had told him that if she gets up or makes any movements, he should be called and get notified. So, this was the reason why Dr. Yi had called him.

Dr. Yi was seated in his room. The nurse had told him that yesterday Yan Rong had woken up and was making a fuss in her room. She was throwing all the things which were infront of her and was crying.

Thankfully, she was calmed down when a nurse injected a sedative to her.

Hearing Wu Yanchen's voice, Dr. Yi narrated all the things which had happened yesterday night and invited him to come over and have a look. "I'm afraid she will try to run away from the hospital, so I guess it's better for you to come over immediately to have a look. Besides, she will be getting up in an bour or so."

With that Dr. Yi hung up the call and went to Yan Rong's room to check up on her again.

He opened the door and saw that she was asleep. He heaved a sigh of relief and closed the door.

Wu Yanchrn was happy to know that Yan Rong had woken up. He was just one step behind from getting Xu Zhuya back.

Now that Yan Rong was awake, it was possible for him to know where Xu Zhuya was. But there was one thing which was bothering him.

It was that Yan Rong was still not in a stable condition, so if he was to go over there and ask her about Xu Zhuya's whereabouts, she will again remember something related to her past and again her condition will become unstable and she might get shocked due to it.

But there was also this, it had been three days since Xu Zhuya had gone. He was missing her like anything and his son was upset for all these days. Today was the day when he had smiled and was playing with his grandparents.

Finally, he decided to meet Yan Rong and ask her about Xu Zhuya. In this situation, his love for Xu Zhuya had won.

Since he was already dressed, he took his car keys and went to the room where his son was.

The three had stopped playing because Xiao Tan was consoling Wu Mo as he had lost the game with Wu Muqing whereas Wu Muqing sat smiling looking whilst looking at his grandparents.

As the door opened, the three turned their head to look at Wu Yanchen who seemed to be in a hurry.

Xiao Tan stopped consoling Wu Mo and asked Wu Yanchen in a worried voice "You seem to be in a hurry... Is everything alright??"

Wu Yanchen looked at his mother and nodded. "Yes, everything's fine..." He sat infront of Wu Muqing and said while bringing him nearer. "Look, buddy... Daddy is going to get your Mommy back."

"Really ??" Wu Muqing looked at his dad with a surprised look.

Wu Yanchen nodded and said "Yes, But..." He paused.

"But what daddy ??" Wu Muqing asked in a small voice.

"It's just that, it might take time for Daddy to come. Like maybe it can take a few hours or even days." Wu Yanchen said while looking at his child who was now upset on hearing him.

"But..." Before Wu Muqing could continue, Wu Yanchen spoke "So, you will stay with your grandparents until we both come back okay??"

Wu Muqing was gonna say something when Wu Yanchen asked again "Okay??"

Wu Muqing nodded. "Good boy!!" Wu Yanchen kissed his forehead and got up. He ruffled his his hair and assured his son saying "Don't worry!! Mommy and Daddy will be back soon."

He said some things to his parents and got out of the room.

He got out of the house and entered his car and went to the hospital...
