Wu Lang hesitated for a second and slowly he agreed. Xu Zhuya hugged him and felt her familiar pain go away. She felt herself warm with the hug as she felt herself reunite with her long lost son. She didn't even realize that her tears had started falling. She came back to reality when she heard Wu Lang speak "Aunty, why are you crying??" The word 'Aunty' made her heart clench. She felt it being stabbed by a knife for many times. But, she made herself calm by saying 'He asked about you. He asked why are you crying... That's enough for me... He atleast asked for me."

Xu Zhuya said while wiping her tears "No, you just reminded me of my son." That was hard for her to say. She didn't know what to say so she said that. She wanted to take things slow. She thought that he will start hating her after he gets to know that she is his mother. And would start asking her questions like why you left me like this? why you made me stay with dad? why you didn't stay with me?... She wasn't ready for all this. She wasn't at all ready.

Yan Rong tried changing the topic by saying "Ok Little guy, it's time for your medicine." At this, Xu Zhuya and Wu Lang both looked at her. Yan Rong found similarities in both of their faces, he had the same complexion as hers and his look made her remind of Wu Yanchen. She averted her thoughts saying she will ask Xu Zhuya about this later. She took a syrup which was kept on the table and took 2ml of it in a small cap and bought it near Wu Lang.

As Wu Lang saw the syrup near him, he moved his head away and hugged Xu Zhuya tightly by saying "No, I won't have it. It's bitter." Xu Zhuya felt his tight hug and looked at Wu Lang who was now wailing his hands like a small baby boy. She smiled and said softly "If you don't have it, how will you recover ??" Wu Lang looked at Xu Zhuya with his soft brown eyes and asked coquettishly "Will I recover soon if I take this??" He pointed at the syrup with his index finger.

Xu Zhuya nodded and said "Yes, obviously!! You will be fine and you will go home early." Wu Lang looked happily at Xu Zhuya and immediately got up and drank the syrup. He scrunched his face when he felt the taste of it and swallowed it. He took out his tongue and shook his head.

Xu Zhuya laughed at his cute behaviour and hugged him once again. She then told him to lie down and he did as said. She put the sheet on him and kissed his forehead. "I'll come in the afternoon to see you okay ??" Xu Zhuya said him and left the room with the report in her hands.

Xu Zhuya closed the door and headed to her room followed by Yan Rong. She had tears in her eyes and her vision started to blur. Xu Zhuya entered her room and sat on her chair. She rested her head on the chair and waited for Yan Rong to proceed with the questions. She knew that Yan Rong would have many questions running through her mind and she also thought that it was time for her friend to know about everything.
