The shop assistant's little face immediately reddened and swelled up after the slap. However, she dared not utter a word and merely held back her tears while apologizing.

"Madam, I'm sorry but we were really just counting stock and closing the area. It will only last half an hour and it won't affect you if you come back in a while. I had no intention of chasing you off!"
