Yuan Xuan sat beside Ye Kun and used a gentle tone when he spoke to him as though they had been friends for more than a decade .

Ye Kun faintly opened his eyes and smiled once he had gotten used to the light . Although he had gone through numerous hardships, his handsome looks from the past could still be faintly seen on his face .

Ye Kun's tone sounded faintly distressed as he spoke, “Young Master, I'm still alright . I've recently been eating more than usual so I'll probably start getting better soon!”

Yuan Xuan nodded . This was the first time that Ye Kun had revealed his coaxing attitude . “Then be good, eat your meals, and go along with Doctor Yuan's treatment . I'll take you to see her once you've healed . ”

Mu Chenyan secretly laughed to herself when she heard Wu Huai spouting this official jargon . She could guess that this was not actually Wu Huai's field of expertise .

“Captain Wu, I'll keep an eye on Ruoxin so don't worry!”

Mu Chenyan stopped speaking to Wu Huai in a roundabout manner without even waiting for him to directly state the conclusion .

Mu Chenyan had always been humble towards Wu Huai . She was even more likable now when she treated him like an older brother whom she worshiped .
