Chapter 113 – Lord, Save Me!

Jian Nan went down to the foot of the mountain to fetch back some fresh dog blood from the village. Yin Zi led the group around making turns left and right along the road, finally arriving at a shallow stream. Sensing that Mo’lin and Xiang Qing would soon be arriving, he ordered, “You wait here by the roadside and wait, when they arrive, you’ll tell them your foot is hurt and you can’t walk. Everyone else will just stay put and follow my orders! Without my order no one is allowed to speak nonsense!”

Following his commands, I quickly snap my ankles causing it to become large and swollen. I then nervously asked, “Is this okay?”

Yin Zi was suddenly fuming with anger, knocking my head and scolded, “I’m asking you to pretend! Just pretend! I never said to actually break your ankles!”

In the distance we see Jian Nan returning, bringing along with him a fresh bag of dog blood. He shouted, “They’re almost here, so everyone get into your roles!”

With no time to inform me of what to do, he brought forth a piece of raw ginger and rubbed it onto my eyes. My tears were continuously rolling out from this uncomfortable feeling. He then proceeded to rubbed the ginger onto his own eyes. As I was about to protest, he began crying and then ordered me to follow along with his actions. I didn’t dare defy.

Using their martial arts, Bull Devil and Jian Nan transformed themselves into evil-looking men wielding a machete and a long spear. The two surrounded us in the center and constantly turned around to estimate the time of arrival of them.

At about the same time, Yin Zi began to cry out loud, “Spare our lives! Lord, please spare our lives!”

Bull Devil instantly swung his long spear tearing apart the nearby tree, cursing, “There’s no use crying! Come…..come with me…..and you can live well and eat well, what’s so bad with

The both of us were stupidly shocked, but soon recovered. Yin Zi began to shout even more loudly, “Lord, how can you just watch us die and not save us! Even if you just save our family’s miss, that is fine!”

Yin Zi winked at me so I followed and started wailing.

Bull Devil and Jian Nan both stood still not knowing what to do.

As the two have their backs turned as we quietly discussed what should be done. But surprisingly a dagger had flown towards us and hit dead center on Bull Devil’s chest. In a blink of an eye, Xiang Qing had appeared in front of our eyes.

In the human context, his skills were quite good, but unfortunately Bull Devil was a monster that has trained for over 2000 years, his skin and flesh was unnaturally tough. This type of flimsy metal against him was not even a match. The miss’ parents died of illness, and had tasked me before dying to bring several men with me to help the miss escape. This whole set of lies was carefully arranged by the information Luo Luo had gathered. In truth, there really was a plague in this area recently, and some people had secretly escaped. Since most of the population here has died due to the plague, our identities were naturally difficult to be identified.

After listening to Yin Zi’s story, he opened his mouth to ask, “You ladies aren’t hurt or anything right? Yin Zi pleaded to Xiang Qing, “Our miss has hurt her ankle, so…..so we must think of a way.”

This time, Xiang Qing did not hesitate. He walked towards me, carried me onto his warm back, and said, “Miss, please do not fret, I can take care of this problem.”

Mo’lin with a smile on his face teased, “I actually thought gentleman would reconsider piggybacking the young lady.”

Xiang Qing calmly said, “The journey is long, the other miss appears to be even more weak, maybe you can perhaps carry her on your back.”

Hearing this, Yin Zi turned ‘shy’ and reached his hands forward, and said, “I do not weigh much……”

Mo’lin fell to the ground, and after a long time…..he grit his teeth and carried Yin Zi onto his back to set foot on the road.
