Meeting again 23 Calm before the storm

My son has changed. He used to be such an adorable obedient boy but now he is almost like a stranger. He had been quite rebellious recently esp with the matter of marriage. Our businesses future can excel depending on this relationship. Robbie is young and doesn't realize the importance of political power. With Sarah's dad's political standing, we are bound to gain more. But he had been hell bent on not accepting this relationship. I know that this marriage is more of a political marriage for gains but I don't think I have chosen a bad girl for him. She is someone who had suitors lined up after her, I thought, she can win over Robbie as well but strangely, he never found any interest in this woman. I wonder why?

I put a watch over him to see if he had any woman he likes. If she is of good standing and status, I will be more than happy with the marriage. But all he had were at most one night stands. In fact to my surprise, he had hit on men as well. Being bisexual in this age and time was not a surprise. There are several high standing men and women who were found to be bisexual. But, to continue the family lineage, opposite gender is necessary. True, that barrier had been broken as well with the discovery of the sub genders. But I would never approve of a male bride even if they can give birth. This Omega sh*t isn't going to work with me. Some cheap digusting whores who had to depend on the mercy of Alphas to survive, as the main wife is absolutely unacceptable. Having them as side men or side woman is fine, but whores should be laden with riches not crowned as princess. These omegas actually think they can make the journey from rags to riches by seducing some Alphas and depending on the AlphOmega bond. What digusting gold diggers!!

Robbie had been so adamant about this marriage issue, that I was bound to have doubts that he had fallen for somone but there had been absolutely no one. What can possibly be the reason for his refusal? Could there be some history between Sarah and Robbie? Afterall they were childhood friends, maybe there is some shared history which makes him not want her as his bride. That was my first time seeing Robbie go against me. Men are prideful especially if they are Alphas, so once their pride is hurt, they tend not to compromise. Could she have hurt his pride in past?

I was lost in my thoughts when there was a knock on my bed room door bringing an abrupt stop to all my thoughts.

"Yes" I called to which a young man in his late twenties, having french cut beard, tall stature and gloomy black eyes, walked in.

"Sir, I am here to give you my report on Young Master" he said very formally, standing straight like lamp pole.

This was Rogers and the one I appointed to tail Robbie. He had been giving me information on Robbie's whereabouts and his doings since past year. He used to be my wife's personal servant but he was very talented and capable. I didn't want him to waste his talent being a servant, so, I replaced my wife's servant with a maid and appointed him as my personal assistant. Once the one who used to look after Robbie and gave me his information, retired, I handed over that job to him as well. He was the one who informed me of Robbie's refusal of resignation of an employee and his row with Sarah on her visit. But, I wanted to know what passed between them. However, on asking Sarah, I didn't receive much information. She looked angrier and a little distracted that day.

"What news do you have?" I asked, sighing.

It had never been anything different or out of place. He led quite a monotonous life, going back and forth between house and hotels. In some occasions, he would take business trips or visit some high class bars. But it appears, he had stopped having one night stands once he graduated from his college which was a good sign. It showed he was maturing.

"Sir, I got the information that Young master had visited an employee twice this week and even spent the night over in that employee's place just two days back" he informed

This drew my attention. It was out of character for Robbie. "Who is this employee? Did you collected his information?" I asked, closing the laptop, on which I was working

"Yes sir" he answered, "His name is Tony Hawker. He had been our employee for three years and is currently working as Sous Chef in Resort Elegance"

"Is that so?" I said. What was so special about him that Robbie personally visited him and even stayed over, "What about his family and friend?"

"Sir, there is no news about his family. The only known fact is that he has a son to whom he is extremely attached. He doesn't seem to be from the city. He is close to Hotel Exquisite's Executive Chef, Samuel Dumas, on whose recommendation, he entered the hotel. In the Resort, he is close to a colleague called Tanya who had been working together with him for this last three years"

"Hmmmm" is all I could say. There was nothing special about him whatsoever. Am I overthinking this? Maybe, they are just aquantainces and he stayed over after a few round of drinks?

"There is something more I have discovered sir" Roger said, hesitating slightly

I narrowed my eyes, "What is it?"

"It looks like sir, Tony Hawker had hidden his true sub gender as Beta. It had been reported that the child refers to him as 'mother' and it looks like he is the one who gave birth to him. I also got to know that he is a bonded Omega and was abandoned by his Alpha even after he was pregnant with his baby. He apparently struggled hard to raise the kid on his own. And also he is the very employee whose resignation was discarded by Young Master"

I was quite surprised by this news. I knew that there were several Omegas who hid their true sub genders to get hired. But to actually catch someone red handed, was surprising. But what possible connection could Robbie have with this Omega to actually trash his resignation? Was he attracted to him? But bonded Omegas are generally a huge turn off for most Alphas. Since, their heat doesn't affect them, which makes them feel they are touching someone else's belonging. On top of that he had a kid. What could possibly hold his attention to him?

"Find out all the information about him till present. And keep an eye on Robbie, to see if he visits him again. Also get me this Tony's pictures. I want to see this man, who can break the cold exterior of my son" I said

"Yes sir" Roger immediately said and walked out

Son, I will find out, exactly what is it that you have been hiding from me!
