Meeting again 2 Sous Chef

"Mommy" the voice called again more persistent. I reluctantly opened my eyes to look at beautiful innocent grey eyes staring at me.

"Wake up Mommy. It's 7am. I have school" the little boy said pressing my cheeks with both his hands.

It was my darling son, Twen. He turned 7 years just this year. Don't know whether it is fortunate or misfortunate but he had gotten the feature of his Dad. His curly black hair, pretty grey eyes and smooth olive skin. His face was just roundish showing his little age. Haaaahhh....how time passes. It feels like yesterday that he was crying on my arms and now he is bossing his mommy. Being called mommy, as a guy, is slightly awkward. But then again, I gave birth to him so that's how it should be right?

"Yes, yes you naughty little demon. I am getting up" I got up feeling a bit dizzy. Yesterday, I worked till late so am still quite tired.

Twen looked at me with slight concern. He is a very good boy. For his age, he is quite understanding and mature. He is my pride and my motivation to live on. I will do everything possible to make his life comfortable. I smiled at him to make him feel less tensed. He relaxed.

I quickly brushed and prepared breakfast for him and send him off to school in the school bus.

"Have a good day, little demon" I called as the bus left.

Now, I have to get ready and run to the hotel. I work as Chef in a five star hotel chain called 'Exquisite'. Today I had afternoon shift. I dont have much time left, and I ll be late. Poor Twen, at such a young age, he had to be alone half the time. I wish I can take more days off but it was not possible, since I have to keep my earning stable. For an Omega, I was already lucky to have a stable job.

I quickly took my shirt off, tied my shoulder length brown hair in a bun and went in the bathroom. In the bathroom mirror, I looked at my pale self. Eventhough, I was a chef, I have lost weight in last 8 years. I could see my ribs too. My complexion has gotten an unhealthy pale colour, my aquiline nose, thin face, long neck and pale pink lips made me look like drug addict. I sighed. I have to start eating more and healthier before I shrivel up and die.

The only feature that I am fond of in myself is my large almond coloured eyes. For better or worse, that was the only thing that looked pretty in my otherwise thin face.

I turned on the shower and let the water run down my body. I felt the warmth of the water relax my muscle. I combed my hair with my fingers and quickly put some body wash. As I reached my nape, I felt a scar. It was a bite mark on my nape. A mark that shows the Omega is taken. How pathetic! I can't even have a romantic relationship with anyone because of this silly mark while the Alpha who is suppose to be my soulmate must be married and have kids by now. Well, not like I am looking for romance. I gave up on love long back. Now, I am happy with my dear Twen. But it had done me one good. Since, a bonded Omega's heat can only attract their Alpha, it wasn't going to affect anyone else. So, as a bound Omega, I was able to get a proper job, though, I hid my true sub gender as beta.

I quickly dressed in my chef coat and pant,. carried my shoes and apron in my bag and got into my Toyota. Driving, my way to the hotel today felt great, afterall, I am promoted to Sous Chef just yesterday. My income has doubled with my responsibilities. I can put Twen in a better school now. I want to give him the best of the best education. I am also planning to open my own resturant someday but till then, lets work hard!
