Beside Yao Zhelan, Chu Ting was trying to figure out how to escape from this mess she started. She was now regretting slapping Lu Xinyi. Was it too late to run away?

No! She would never accept defeat that easily! Chu Ting pulled out her phone and called her father. She knew her father was doing a mandatory inspection of their restaurant that was also located at Cloud Mall. He would be there to save her before the demon king arrives.

Meanwhile, the other woman involved was now regretting accepting Chu Ting's invitation to go shopping together. This was ridiculous! Yao Zhelan thought. She certainly didn't want to get on Shen Yi's bad side. This was all Chu Ting's fault!

"Miss Lu, this isn't necessary. We didn't come here to cause you troubles." Yao Zhelan didn't want to be thrown to the bad limelight especially if Shen Yi was involved. In the end, he could have the final say on it.

Shen Yi was a person with both power and authority. It was rumored even the result of the elections could be influenced by the Shens and the Lis. Although he was a business tycoon, he was powerful enough to play the city with his hand. He could definitely end her and Chu Ting's career in a snap of his fingers.

Lu Xinyi ignored her and rubbed the sore spot on her cheek. She didn't want to waste her words on these women anymore.

"What's happening here?" Xia Yuhan entered the store with a frown. Her eyes spotted Chu Ting and Yao Zhelan to her right while Lu Xinyi was standing near the entrance with a red mark on her cheeks. She could roughly guess what happened.

Seeing Xia Yuhan arrived, the manager rushed to her side and explained what happened.

Five minutes later, a group of men arrived and entered Flair Apparel. All of them were wearing black and gray business suits. Leading them was a man in his fifties.

"Ting'er, what's going on here?" he asked. His face scrunched as he looked around. He knew that his daughter was a brat and likes to cause trouble to anyone. Most of the time, Chu Ting managed to escape from the consequences of her actions by using her family name to intimidate the other party.

However, today was different. His daughter called him to seek his help. He wondered what kind of person did his daughter tried to bully and was able to turn the table against her.

As if on cue, Chu Ting ran towards him and sobbed.

"Wooooo… Daddy, you have to help me. Lu Xinyi is trying to bully me using President Shen." She wailed louder, not caring if her pretty face was stained with tears.

Chu Zhihao was taken aback. Lu Xinyi did what?

"Mr. Chu, welcome to Flair Apparel. Why don't you follow me inside and have a cup of tea? President Shen would be here soon," Lu Xinyi said. She could barely able to keep her amusement from her voice.

The old man was a little startled. He wasn't supposed to be afraid of a woman like Lu Xinyi, and yet his mind was sending alarms that he should be wary of this woman.

"What are you waiting for? Didn't you hear what Lu Xinyi said?" Xia Yuhan nudged the store manager. "Quick! Set up the receiving room for our visitors."

The manager left with bewilderment written all over her face. She couldn't understand why Xia Yuhan would rather listen to Lu Xinyi than to appease Chu Ting's demands.
