After Elder Wu announced the result of the battle, the silent atmosphere was finally broken when a few cheers erupted from the crowd. It wasn't very loud, as only about 100 of the disciples were cheering. Most of the cheers came from the dozens of disciples that had entered the inner sect at the same time as Zhao Jiuge. Some of the older disciples also cheered for him, and there were even some female disciples that admired him.

Thes 100 or so people seemed to pale in comparison to the thousands of disciples here. The rest of the disciples all looked at Zhao Jiuge's back. At this point, they realized that words were fake and weak, only strength was truth.

The Sword Pavilion Ranking changed every 200 years. The disciples who had passed a certain age could not participate. The disciples a few generations before Zhao Jiuge could join. Normally, the rank 1 was the Chief Head Disciple. However, because of Ceng Qingniu's disappearance, the position of Chief Head Disciple had fallen to Fu Hongling.

The competition for the Sword Pavilion Ranking would undoubtedly be fierce. The Mysterious Heaven Peak had occupied the top spots. It was time for the exchange between the old and the new, and it was natural for the disciples of the other two peaks to become excited.

After he finished speaking, he ignored the commotion he had created and silently walked toward Leng Rufeng and company.

After talking for a while, most of the disciples flew  back to their respective peaks to spread the news. They would tell their fellow sect members about Zhao Jiuge's words and actions with embellishment. 

The Mysterious Heaven Peak disciples felt satisfied and gave Zhao Jiuge friendly smiles. They had seen Zhao Jiuge's strength. They were going to go back and brag about what had happened today.

Zhao Jiuge acted like he didn't hear the noisey cursing at all and walked toward Lu Rufeng's group.

Normally, he wouldn't be arrogant like this, and he wasn't an arrogant person by nature. However, he had his reasons.

What he had realized was that strength was the best way to be heard, and that his status was different now. He had to find ways to prove himself, and the dispute between the three peaks had never stopped. Since this was the case, he might as well beat them before everyone. During the exchange between the old and the new, Zhao Jiuge had to get top three on the rankings. This would pave the way for him to participate in the competition between the seven holy lands.
