I will change your fate

He decided to let the thief get away, at least for now. He lowered his gun and watched.

He saw this situation as an opportunity to gain control over Juli.

Yup, right I fell in love with him despite what he did. But I just did.

After our dinner concluded, we found ourselves nestled on the veranda, entranced by the moon's gentle glow. Juli, however, fixed her gaze upon the celestial orb Moon with an intensity that seemed to convey an unspoken plea for liberation from her suffering.

In the quietude of that moment,

I silenty pact the gratitude for the opportunity bestowed upon me by the Universe.

"I pledge to transform Adrian, to mold him into a vessel of love that befits your true worth, Juli" I resonated the commitment in the corridors of my mind.

****

Somwhere in the moonlit serenity

"Gabriel, are you sure about this?" The voice, like a gentle breeze, carried a mix of curiosity and concern.

In response, Gabriel's lips curled into a serene smile, while his eyes danced with a playful glint, shrouded in enigmatic mystery. "How could I have possibly resist? knowing the heartfelt wish she harbored, fueled by authentic love. Are we not bound to fulfill her wish?”

"I'm troubled by the unforeseen and perilous situations going to emerge in the days to come." A worry etched across Jophiel's face, coloring his words with a sense of preoccupation.

"I am well aware of the risks, we must patiently await the unfolding of time." With those words, they seamlessly dissipated into the ethereal.

Meanwhile, Duke at his office.

Adrian could not shake the uneasy feeling after meeting Sirin. He called Berhanrd to his office chamber.

"Sir Bernhard, there's an unfamiliar woman residing in Mr. Hahn's cottage. I wished to be kept informed of her every move."

"Certainly, sir. I will promptly dispatch someone to keep a vigilant eye on her activities."

As the assistant left to carry out his orders, Duke, still fixated on the Sirin, found himself muttering under his breath, "Where did you come from?"

He paused and again muttered, 'You dare to stepped on my bed.'

In the tranquil embrace of the night, Juli and I shared a silent communion with the enchanting moon overhead.

Our words seemed unnecessary in the presence of such celestial beauty. The wind was my gentle companion, graced me with its cool and friendly caress.

As it brushed against my skin, a tingling sensation enveloped me, It was like a playful dance orchestrated by the invisible fingers of the breeze. It was as if the wind itself had taken on the role of a mischievous companion, teasing me and playing with every sense it encountered.

The joy of simply being in Wismar, of basking in the moonlit serenity, was palpable.

Yet, the true source of my contentment rested in the closeness of Adrian.

Breaking the long silence that enveloped us, I finally mustered the courage to pose a question that had lingered in the air like a whisper. I turned to Juli and asked, "Why did you help me at Duke's place?"

Her attention shifted, redirecting her gaze to meet mine as if she was awaiting this moment of inquiry.

In a hushed tone, laden with a sincerity that resonated in the night air,

"How could I have left you alone at Duke's palace, seeing you so stressed?" Her words carried a quiet strength, revealing a compassion that transcended the bounds of mere acquaintance.

I was touched by her selfless gesture, I felt a surge of gratitude welling up within me.

"Thank you so much," I expressed, attempting to convey the depth of my appreciation for her kindness, even though she knew little about my circumstances.

"I will repay your kindness one day."

Following our conversation, the night enveloped us, guiding us towards the sanctuary of sleep. In Juli's cottage, with its quaint charm, we were confronted with a practical decision – two bedrooms, and a choice to be made. One room held the remnants of Juli's sleep, while the other, her father's.

Juli and I chose to share a space, a decision that defied conventional propriety. Despite my offer to take the couch, Juli insisted that we share the bed. I could not deny her request, I acquiesced.

As soon as Juli sank into the bed, She slipped into the embrace of sleep effortlessly.

Meanwhile, I found myself lying beside her, my gaze fixated on the ceiling above. The room held an atmosphere of quietude, interrupted only by the gentle sounds of the night. My thoughts embarked on a journey, retracing the pathways etched in the pages of time where this intricate tale had its origins. The memories and mysteries unfolded in my mind like a story unraveled.

********

Duke France de Louis was a man of formidable presence, his strong personality resonating far and wide. His lineage, second only to the imperial family, exuded power and authority that was palpable. He lived with his family, including his wife and two children, in a sprawling estate that matched the grandeur of their status.

Among his children, Lana Louis , the Duke's 18-year-old daughter, was bound by a royal engagement at age of 15.

She was destined to be wed to the crown prince of the empire, a union marked by political significance that would intertwine their families and consolidate power.

On the other hand, Adrian Louis, the 17-year-old son of the Duke, was a formidable presence—a force of nature spending much of his time away from home. Engaged in his education at the prestigious Solen University, he returned only during the summer breaks.

Adrian possesses an alluring charm that seems to transcend mortal boundaries, as if he's been touched by the very essence of seduction itself.

With a face chiseled to perfection and a hairstyle meticulously groomed, his piercing blue eyes were the true focal point. They sparkled like precious sapphires, drawing others into their magnetic gaze. Behind them lay a well of intelligence and charisma, captivating all who had the fortune (or misfortune) to meet his eye.

Juli's father Heinrich Hahn was the guardian of Wismar Forest, a place straight out of a fairy tale. Juli and her father, Heinrich Hahn, resided in a simple cottage nestled near the forest's edge—a humble home that held the core of their world.

One morning France Louis woke up in the morning. He suddenly had unbearable pain in chest and collapsed on the floor.

The maid promptly informed Sir Benhard and called the family doctor. It was clear to everyone what the family doctor's announcement would be.

The entire palace environment shifted from a bright morning to a gloomy, overcasting one. An urgent message was dispatched to Adrian de Louis, summoning him to the Wismar palace.

His father's body was preserved until arrival of Adrian.

Adrian returned to Wismar after two days, after the fateful missive delivered the news of his father's untimely demise. Upon his arrival, the cremation rituals commenced. Everyone present was dressed in sombre black attire.

Adrian's face remained devoid of any emotions and expressions; he stood calmly with a stoic countenance, revealing nothing to those who were observing him. A calmness was placed on his face.

He declared throughout the Wismar for a week of mourning in honour of the late Duke France de Louis. All residents were expected to wear black attire during this period. All the celebrations was on hold.

Bearing the title of Duke was not a burden for Adrian; it was a role he had been groomed for since childhood. In fact, he now wielded even more power than before.

Meanwhile, Juli, who had recently celebrated her 14th birthday, was blossoming into a beautiful young lady.

Black was a color she loathed, its shade a haunting reminder of her mother and the harrowing chapters of her early years. The echoes of maternal abuse painted her childhood in hues of darkness, constraining her attire to nothing but the somber tones of black. This aversion to black became the reason she chose to remain secluded at home, away from the eyes of the world.

After 5 days of his arrival, Adrian on his majestic horse, he was exploring the depths of the tranquil forest. As he ventured further, the enchanting sound of a gentle, melodious song reached his ears, piquing his curiosity. Following the sweet melody, he finally laid his eyes on a woman dressed in a green humble gown, hanging bed sheets on a line to bask in the warm embrace of the sun while she sang a soft tune.

He came to a halt near the picturesque cottage, he found himself gazing at Juli. Her face had turned away from him, so he couldn't catch a glimpse of her features.

Patiently, he lingered there, he became a silent spectator, waiting for the moment when she would choose to unveil herself to him, allowing him to take a glimpse of that women.

Then, as Juli turned to retrieve a freshly laundered pillow cover from a basket, a sudden sense of unease washed over her. She was startled and somewhat anxious, she lifted her eyes, only to lock them with Adrian's for the very first time.

Something got triggered in Adrian's brain of an unknown feeling.

In that serendipitous moment, both of them simply stared. It was only then that Juli began to realise the unmistakable face before her, belonged to none other than the new Duke, Adrian de Louis himself.

In a humble attempt to acknowledge the unexpected encounter, she finally broke the silence with a polite yet belated greeting, "Please accept my sincerest apologies for the tardiness of my greetings, My Lord."

She humbly expressed, her gown gently gathered in her hand, as she gracefully inclined her knees and lowered her head in a display of profound respect.

"What's your name?"

“I am Juli Hahn, daughter of Heinrich Hahn, my Duke.”

“Aren't you expected to be in black attire?"

A shiver of fear coursed through her, realization dawning like an unwelcome revelation. In the presence of the Duke, she stood draped in a garment of green, it was the stark deviation from the mandated black.

The uncertainty danced in her eyes, leaving her at a loss for words as she grappled with the Duke's inquiry, unsure of how to navigate the unexpected twist in their encounter.

A chilling voice cut through the air once more, "Do you think I have the luxury of time?"

Juli, got compelled by the sternness of the Duke's tone, she lifted her gaze with eyes clouded by fear.

The weight of his expectation bore down on her, rendering her speechless. She could not maintain her eye contact, she averted her eyes, fixing them on the ground beneath, she was seeking refuge in the safety of the earth beneath her feet.

"Please forgive me for not adhering to the Lord of the Land's directive. The colour black holds too many painful memories for me, and I...I couldn't bring myself to wear it."

While Adrian was astonished by her boldness and her bold statement. Juli remained frozen, palms pressed together, her gaze imprisoned by the ground beneath.

The Duke's scrutiny weighed heavily on her, creating a tension surrounding her. Even in the cool breeze, beads of sweat betrayed the inner turmoil hidden behind her composed exterior.
