I don't want to sleep in the dog house, so I decided to sleep in my own room with my girlfriend.

It's not that I have qualms about sleeping with Tiara. In fact, I wanted to sleep with her every night from now on. However, having my parents push me with it makes it a lot weirder and more awkward. It's as if they already wanted a grandchild even though I'm still a teenager.

I'm busy preparing the bed and the sleeping mat on the floor. I carried the sheets, the pillows and the blankets from our storeroom while Tiara is in charge of nothing at all. She's just sitting there beside my study table, watching all the things I do.

"U-Um, Rikkun…" Tiara made a sorry smile. "Are you sure it's okay for me to sleep in your room? If you want, I'll just sleep in your dog house instead…"

"Idiot, that's not how we treat guests." I cringed. 

"B-But you seem to be against the idea of it." Tiara turned away while covering her mouth in a shy manner.

"My parents are just annoying the hell out of me." I gritted my teeth. "I'm all fine by you staying in my room since you're going to give me a place to stay when school starts again."

I heard Tiara's soft sigh that sounded like a dog whistle. She is holding her chest as if she's relieved. Suddenly, we heard a knock on our door.

"Alaric, Tiara." It was my mother's voice as she peeked on the slightly opened door. "I'll give you this."

My mother gave out a pack of something that is colorful. It has various cartoonish logos of fruits such as strawberry, pineapple, banana, apple, and orange with faces. Seeing that damn thing made me blush like a tomato.

"Goodnight~," My mother said and then she hurriedly went back downstairs. Now we're alone in the room again.

"Rikkun, your mother is very thoughtful!" Tiara hopped like an excited bunny. "She gave us a pack of candies as a midnight snack!"

"That's not a pack of candy!" I cried. "Anyway, give me that!"

"Eh? This is not candy?" Tiara tilted her head. When she turned the pack, she started to read the label out loud. "Hmm, it says Fruity Tasty Condo-"

"GIVE ME THAT!!!" I immediately snatched the pack from Tiara's hand and then threw it towards the open window. "NYEH!!!"

"Waaaah!" Tiara can't do anything but cry. It seems that she thought circuits haven't processed the disgusting thing she is holding. Good thing I already banished it.

"We're...not...going...to...use...that…" I said as I breathed heavily. What the heck are my parents thinking!?

I know what you're thinking. Yeah, I know, I know. But I can't just do it in my parent's house. Doing it at this point in time and place is pretty much like j*rking off in front of your mother and father while they're cheering for you. Do you have the courage to pull that? I don't.

My parents promoting such lewd acts would mean that they are desperate for me to have a wife. They see me as a lost cause due to my attitude, but that's not the point. That is embarrassing AF.

I'm pretty sure they'll be watching us at night, so I have to make sure nothing dirty happens. So I prepared a mat on the floor for myself to sleep. I'll have Tiara sleep on my bed.

It's almost midnight, and it's lights out. The moonlight peeking from the window refracted the beauty of Tiara's silky smooth black hair. Whenever moonlight mixes with it, it turns shiny purple, and it's glittering like the stars. 

This scene is almost the very same event that happened two years ago, back when we slept together alone in the Brightmore Shrine. I also remember the moment I saw her memories of hopelessly fighting against fate and repeating several timelines just to save me. Those were the times I fell in love with her the most.

My feelings for her became much stronger. We have come a long way, and now we're finally here. Our happy ending is almost guaranteed. Once she sings the to bring everyone back, we can also wish for our destiny to have a delightful journey.

"Rikkun, are you asleep?" Tiara turned to me, in which I immediately blushed. Her blue eyes locked onto mine.

"Yeah, I'm asleep. That's why I'm talking to you and my eyes are still wide open."

"O-Oh, sorry." Tiara had her eyes round. "Continue sleeping then."

Tiara turned away and started to view the moonlit skies. There were about ten-second silence until she broke it with her idiotic words.

"Rikkun, aren't you going to jump on me?"

"Pfffft!!!" I puked all the saliva from my salivary glands. "WhWhat the heck are you talking about!? Are you that thirsty! I can't do that while we're here! My parents may be watching us or hearing us from the wall!"

"Ahahaha… figures." Tiara turned to me with a smile and an innocent blush on her face. "I know you're embarrassed."

I turned away to hide my red face. Damn, Tiara's teasing techniques are getting better and better. It's like Amy's soul has already manifested on her mind completely, and now she knows how to tickle my emotions.

"You know, Rikkun…" Tiara's tone slightly became a little bit serious and hysterical. "Your parents are good people. They are always thinking about their child's future, no matter how awkward it may be. They're unlike my father… that bastard…"

"Hahaha…" I chuckled slowly. "I guess we both hate our parents who love us the most."

"Hey, hey!" Tiara crawled on the bed and peeked at my face below. "How did your mother and father meet?"

"It's a cliched story," I said with a smile. "When they were in college, my father bumped into my mother."

"Oh, so sweet~," Tiara said.

"And then my father said 'Damn, that ass!'"

Tiara became speechless upon hearing my disappointing love story. Her wide round eyes are telling me that she's so shocked that she does not want to hear more of my story.

"How about you? How did your parents meet?" I asked.

"W-Well, my mother was an author of nursery rhymes and children's books. She used to teach young shrine maidens in the Brightmore Shrine until one day, my father's uncle's son-in-law's friend who had a nephew enrolled in the shrine. My father was the guardian of that young shrine maiden, so he always goes to the shrine. There, my father used his charms to make my mother fall in love, just like every woman that bastard came across."

I may need to process that "Father's uncle's son-in-law's friend who had a nephew" part. For me, we can call it a complete stranger, or maybe a secret love child that had a terrible coverup excuse. Who knows? Frederick Solstice is a certified womanizer.

"Um… Rikkun… Can you move aside?" Tiara said as she lazily raised her body. "I need to go to the toilet."

"Yeah, go on ahead," I said as I rolled 180 degrees to give her a path. 

When she stood up, she opened the lights and made her expose her shiny white legs. She's currently wearing my white T-shirt that is a little oversized for her for the reason that the damn idiot pup forgot to bring her pajamas, maybe on purpose. Anyway, the sight of her flawless legs made my blood a little bit boiling. I can even see her orange-striped undies. My heart skipped a beat.

"Sigh." I exhaled out loud the moment Tiara was already out of the room. It was a good call that I threw that fruity pack of elastics earlier. I'm pretty sure that if we still have that, I won't be able to control my desires.

It's been ten minutes, and it's irregularly long just for using the toilet. When Tiara came back, she was already holding a bottle that had a logo of purple berries in it. She has this smile on her face.

"Hey, hey, Rikkun!" Tiara hopped like a happy bunny. "Your guess was right! Mister and Miss Eisenhower are there at the back of the door all along, watching us with night vision thermal goggles! I saw them when I was on the way to the toilet."

"I'm not surprised," I said. Then I tilted my head, curious about what Tiara was holding. "Anyway, what's that?"

"Oh, this? Mister Eisenhower gave it to me and told me that you should drink it! Your parents are so kind that they gave us a bottle of cranberry juice as a midnight snack!"

After a second, I realized the bottle that is too familiar for me. I have seen it on the internet, more particularly on the misplaced ads on anime streaming sites. It's not meant to be held by an innocent vanilla girl like Tiara.

"Wait, give me that! That's not cranberry juice!" I immediately stood up. "Give me that immediately!"

"E-Eh?" Tiara tilted her head like a curious puppy. When she turned the bottle around, she started to read the label. "Ultimate Flagpole-raising Cranberry Flavor Viag-"

"GIVE ME THAT!!!" I shouted as I finally managed to snatch the bottle from Tiara's hand. Then with full force, I immediately threw it just like how Kobe Bryant does his fade-away shots. "NYEH!!!"

"Waaaaah!" Tiara shrieked, unaware of what was happening. She might think I'm overreacting, but I need to do those things to keep me from insanity.

Anyway, what the hell are my parents thinking!? I don't need something artificial to raise my flagpole yet!
