"We will strike the Eaglerock. Use this opportunity to handle the rest." Cris looked at the gang leader who they decided to support.

"I understand. My Goldenlight Family will move now." The leader said.

He looked at his deputy and said, "Go."

The deputy moved forward and bowed, "As you wish."

The deputy nodded and left the room with his men.

Cris looked at them and chuckled. 'Good.'

He tapped the leader's shoulder and said, "I will leave now."

The leader looked at him and said, "Don't forget our agreement."

Cris smiled and said, "Of course."

He left the room and his two body guards followed him.

Meanwhile, the Eaglerock Family is dominating a section of the southern district.

"Let's see how powerful you are, bastards!" The leader of the Eaglerock threw a huge stone ball and yelled.

"Aaahh! Run!" The gansters panicked when they saw the huge stone ball.

'Boom!' 'Crack!'

"Aaahh!" "Help!"

There was a huge explosion mixed with the sounds of breaking bones. The huge stone ball hit some of the gangsters then it hit the ground.

"Attack them! Haha!" The leader of the Eaglerock commanded and laughed.

"Haha!" His men laughed and attacked.

"Aaaahh!"

The leader of the Eaglerock was laughing when suddenly a powerful magic hit the ground.

'Boom!' 'Crack!'

He was pushed back by the powerful magic explosion.

"What is that?!" One of his officials was aghast.

There was a dark shield that pierced the ground.

"Haha! Do you like it?" It was Dubanov who asked.

He approached his shield and pulled it up. He looked at the gangsters and chuckled.

"You!" The leader jumped with great force and attacked him with a huge blade.

'Bang!'

"Haha!" Dubanov blocked it with his shield and laughed.

"Swoosh!"

An old man suddenly appeared and attacked Dubanov with a golden blade.

'Bam!'

Before the blade hit Dubanov, the old man was kicked and crashed through the walls.

"That won't happen, Sir." It was Alfred who kicked the old man and spoke.

Alfred commanded, "Go attack the Eaglerock!"

The men behind him was surprised with what they saw but they all attack when they heard the command.

"Let's go!" The men attacked the underlings of the Eaglerock Family.

The old man stood up and was surprised. He did not expect the strong kick. Also, the men who are attacking them have good weapons.

"You are the person behind this madness!" The leader shouted.

He dashed and attacked Alfred but he was blocked by Dubanov.

"I will play with you!" Dubanov laughed and counterattacked.

The whole southern district was thrown into chaos. The Goldenlight Family started to attack the gangs in the district. They first cleaned the area near their teritory.

The gangs at war were aghast. They lost too many people and now the two biggest gangs are attacking them.

The guards swiftly moved as well. Many gang hideouts were raided. They arrested people and used this chance to confiscate resources and properties too.

A huge battle errupted and it was a total chaos.

At around this time, the City Lord received a report.

"City Lord! The south! The war is reaching the..." The guard was interrupted.

"I know. This is good for the city though." She answered and smiled wryly.

She thought for a bit and said, "Send people there but do not join the fight. Just help the residents."

"Yes, City Lord." The guard saluted and hastily left the room.

Back in the southern district, the old man in golden robe is hesitating to move.

'This young man is powerful.' He was shocked with the powerful aura of Alfred. It is like a domineering beast.

"What do you want, young man?" The old man asked.

"Don't talk to them, master! We can beat them!" The leader shouted.

He attacked Dubanov again with a strong magic blade strike.

'Bang!' 'Bam!'

However, Dubanov blocked it with his shield and he punched the leader with a powerful force. The leader was sent flying to a nearby building.

"Haha! You can't even beat me!" Dubanov laughed and then looked at the old man.

The leader stood up and wiped the blood on his face. He gritted his teeth and exuded a strong magic force.

"Stop!" The old man shouted and exuded a strong magic aura.

He looked at Alfred and asked again, "What do you want?"

Alfred gestured at Dubanov to stop.

He said firmly, "The southern district. You can survive if you leave tonight. Our boss is generous so just leave half of your resources."

'He is not the boss!' The old man was aghast.

"What the? Do you think we will..." The leader wanted to refute but his master stopped him.

"Stop, Longhorn." The old man said.

He looked at Dubanov and Alfred. "We accepted it. We will leave tonight."

"I just want to remind you that we are under Duke of Pure Blaze! I am his nephew!" The man named Longhorn shouted.

"We know." Dubanov looked at him and chuckled.

"You!" Longhorn was shocked. This men doesn't care about his background.

"All of you went here to oppress our city. The other dukes wanted to have a piece of this land. Some members of the royal family doesn't care about this place. We know all of it."

The old man and Longhorn looked at the young man who spoke. The young man walked towards Alfred, it was Cris.

"Those words... Be mindful with what you say." The old man said.

'These people doesn't care about the dukes or royal family. We need to leave.' The old man thought.

"Leave tonight." Alfred said and walked away.

Cris smiled and followed him. Dubanov called their men before leaving.

"Wow! That was cool." Three men answered and followed Dubanov.

The other men followed the group. When the underlings of the Eaglerock saw it. They sighed and put down their weapons.

"Master. We need to report this to uncle and elder brother!" Longhorn exclaimed.

"Of course. For now, our survival is a must. Tell our men to get ready. We will leave tonight." The old man said.

Dubanov and his men went to a different section of the southern district while, Alfred and Cris went to the mansion of Goldenlight Family.

The two of them went to a huge room where the leader is waiting.

When the leader saw them, he immediately moved forward and bowed.

'A powerful expert! An expert like this is only a right-hand man?' He was astonished with the presence of Alfred.

"Is Sir Ludwig fine?" Alfred asked with geniune concern.

"Yy.... Yes? Do you know him, Boss?" He was surprised and asked respectfully.

"Yes. We met before." Alfred said and smiled.

"What's your master's decision?" Cris asked.

"He agreed. Also, the title of viscount will be transferred to Sir Ludwig." The leader said.

"Much better." Alfred said and smiled.

"From now on, we are under your care." The leader bowed down.

"You will not regret this alliance." Alfred said.

"As agreed, you can stay here in the south and you will help in managing the place." Cris said.

"Yes. Rest assured, Mister Cris." The leader said and smiled lightly.

"Oi! Oi! Haha!" A loud laughed was heard.

A man entered the room and asked, "Am I late?"

'An elf mage! How did he enter?' The leader was surprised.

"No. Dubanov is out there having fun, Sir Nicholas." Cris answered.

"Great! Haha! I will take my leave then." Nicholas said and teleported away.

The leader was stunned and stared at the door with blank expression.

'Cough.'

"That is Sir Nicholas. A senior member of our Silver Sparrow Family." Cris lightly coughed and said.

"An elf mage joined a gang?" The leader asked with a shocked expression.

It was almost sunset when the officials from the City Lord Mansion came. The captain of the guards gave the report. The officials were astonished when they heard that the Eaglerock Family is leaving tonight and that most of the gangs were destroyed. Some are arrested while others escaped the district.

The officials questioned them why no one from the Goldenlight Family were arrested and they were surprised when they heard from the guards that the Goldenlight helped preserving the peace and order. Of course, the officials believed that it was a lie.

Inside a luxurious villa, an old woman is comfortably sitting and watching her lady servants preparing the tea ceremony. Six old men are sitting on the side as well.

"The southern district was wiped." A man wearing a red robe reported.

"I see. The south is now clean. Is our western district next?" An old man asked nervously.

"This district is full of powerful nobles and clans." Another old man answered.

"Full of stupid rats and dogs too." The old woman answered.

She looked at them and continued, "This district will be dealt with... for sure."

"Elder, what do we need to do?" The man wearing red robe asked.

"Send people to the House of Iron Crow. Show them our support." The old woman answered.

"Yes!" The man answered and vanished.

"I heard that it was another group and not them? Are we going to use the great House?" An old man asked.

"Use them? Don't be stupid." another old man said.

"Nobody can use them. We should build good relationship with the great House." The old woman answered.

She continued, "The group who cleaned the South is related to the great House. I am sure of that."

The old men nodded. They were glad that they followed the elder's order before.

A lot of people are talking about the rumors of a dragon serving the great house but these old men know that it is not just an empty rumor. Also, they know that it is not just a single dragon.
