Feng Yu Jiu Tian Volume 14 Chapter 8.4

Ran Qing who stood nearby suddenly let out smothered exclamation, left chest suddenly pierce with arrow and the blood gushes out.  The arrow cannot be pull out from the flesh.  Below the faint moonlight glow, Ran Qing eyebrow pinched. The arrow tip is short, but the shaft with feather is long. No wonder they pierce the flesh but does not go too deep, it will not damage heart and lungs.

“ Looks like they are not trying to kill us...”. Ran Qing voice suddenly seems smaller, his body tumbles forward and began to falter and shakes.. he had to stand up using his sword to prop him up from the floor, trembling and started cursing, “ They, they...their Grandmother! Immediately the sound of slaughtering began, everyone fighting to the death, men brandish their sword or wielding a large shield, continuously unable to rush forward and attack because their small boat being suppressed by the raining arrows. Finally, one after another fall into the water.

"Rong Hu!", Feng Ming shouted.

"You ......." Feng Ming can feel his forehead full of sweats,just looking at the chaos in front his whole heart is in cold sweat and frightened. But he has to find a way to save them. "You lead the archers and give them fierce counterattack." Feng Ming grit his teeth and after thinking said, "Shoots at their ship’s banner bearer who giving the signals.”

Just watching own Xia Family fleet was suppressed until unable to resist has made Feng Ming feels in useless vexation.

Regardless of where the enemy ships comes from, they  truly really hit the fleet vital place, totally do melee attacks actually dominating the upstream while wrecking the ship’s outer body while countless arrows also raining on them making it harder for them to resist the onslaught.  

“Even though everyone knows that Xiao Family men are the best sword master but right now Xiao Family men most proud group of experts is just simply useless. “
