Fairy Tale of A Village Girl 47 Deep Schemes

At one morning, during sunrise, Varsha is sitting beside the water stream and lost in her own world. Her smile is reaching ear to ear. From last two days, Akash has interacted with her many times. Sometimes he questioned her, sometimes commented and sometimes scolded but still, they all are enough to make her happy.

This is the morning time and she came out for a small walk. She has just finished her walk and sat here while Ira is still making another lap around the house.

She is sitting on the grass beside the stream at the backside of the house, engrossed in her thoughts and smiling while reminiscing. She laughed unknowingly when she heard a voice from her behind "Why are you sitting there smiling like an Idiot? Grandpa is calling. Come back, it is time for breakfast."

She turned and saw Akash at the balcony eyeing her daringly which made her giggle more. Seeing her giggle, Akash made an annoyed face and turned and went inside. Varsha is still self-conscious and a bit fearful about how to interact with Akash, but she is hopeful now that things will turn out well slowly.

She stood up and smiled brightly looking at the morning sun and called Ira who waved back at her while running toward her. After a few minutes, both girls entered the house laughing while holding their hands.

On another part of Pune city, in one of the high-end bungalow, there is another family sitting at the breakfast table. Father, son, and mother are sitting at the table and breakfast are being served by two servants. They are quiet and observing the servants putting the food on the table. Servants moved away from the dining area after serving them. The family of three started eating their breakfast.

Mahat Pawar looked at his father and said "Father! When do we move ahead with our plan?"

"You seem to be very impatient. But we can not just move ahead without making proper paperwork and other legal setups done." Mr Pawar replied nonchalantly.

Mrs Pawar is eating quietly and listening to her husband curiously. Mrs Pawar's cousin brothers and uncles are politicians at the state and central ministry level and have great reach within and outside government. Her father is also a big businessman and he has hundreds of acre of the orange orchard near Nagpur city. Her husband's family has a lot of lands in surrounding areas of Pune. She got married to this family when her maiden family was trying to buy lands from her husband's family. From there the relationship between both families started.

Mahat Pawar frowned and said, "But I am quite interested in starting this project with Patel family as soon as possible."

Mr Pawar eyed his son and then took a sip of water from the cup and said: "Your drive seems to be coming from something other than your willingness to do business."

"Does it matter what my driving factor is? Only thing matters is that it is able to make me work and help me push hard to succeed." Mahat Pawar said and snickered thinking of the girl who insulted him in the mall. His expression hardened when he thought how he will put those girls in their place.

Mr Pawar looked at the changing expression on his son's face and laughed "Ha ha. Yes, it does not matter as long as you are cautious and make the business grow."

Mrs Pawar could deduce from the discussion of father and son that they are again planning some scheme to destroy some people and acquire their wealth. She felt helpless because she knows if she opened her mouth and asked them not to do something evil, father and son will definitely argue back and make her shut up. Mrs Pawar has inherited her gentle nature from her father who likes to live a peaceful life of farming and even if he is rich, he does not flaunt his wealth and does not try whatever means to expand his business. Politicians in her maiden family and her business-minded husband and son are two sides which are always making her worried and she could only pray that her daughter would turn out to be a gentle and cultured lady.

Breakfast continued and father and son also continued discussing things without giving any hint to Mrs Pawar. She could only guess that they are planning something against Patel family and while business is main work, father and son both have different agenda in mind. Mrs Pawar could only eat breakfast with a heavy heart.

In one of the sky scrappers of 30 storey in the locality Wakad of Pune.

Few people are discussing with a serious expression on their faces. Three people look like politicians from their dress and two are businessmen as it looks from their professional attire.

Their talk is almost coming to an end. One of the politicians said "Mr Pawar! As you have said, we will try to use your son-in-law for our advantage against Mr Patel." Next moment that person frowned and said: "But, should we really take advantage of all the plannings of your son-in-law? What if your elder brother found out?"

Another politician who is being called as Mr Pawar laughed and said "What son-in-law? In politics and business, there are no relatives. And anyway he is the real son-in-law of my elder brother whose daughter is married to him. My brother thought that son-in-law runs hotels and his daughter will live peacefully there but who knew that son-in-law to be so ambitious. When there are ambitions, there will be a conflict of interest. No one can blame anyone."

"But when talking about that prime location land of Heeralal Patel, did you not try any other method like asking him through government in name of social work or some school construction? Tricking them may or may not work and it might also backfire at us if Patels acted courageously." One of the businessmen asked.

One politician said "We have already tried reason of social cause. Heeralal Patel said he will build school or hospital by himself if Government asks him to but he will not hand over his land on the mercy of state politicians. That Patel acts humble but he never trusts anyone other than himself."

Another businessman who was silent spoke up "But I heard that Heeralal Patel is soon going to hand over his responsibilities to his Grandson. I also heard that he has done MBA from IIM and is a very bright young man. I think we can invite him also in the party we are organizing for young entrepreneurs of the state. I will ask a few youngsters to gauge his capabilities and make friends with him."

"Haha. Great! It seems we have two paths to take now. One to attack the grandfather by digging up his past deals and making issues of non-issues. And another soft approach we can use against the grandson by asking our young ones to befriend him and work for our agenda." Mr Pawar laughed and Said.

Unknown to Akash, many people are scheming against him. Even schemers are being schemed against. Varsha who is nowhere a prominent person either in business or in any type of achievement is going to be a target. Of course, these things might just make the relationship between Akash and Varsha stronger.
