Fairy Tale of A Village Girl 40 What Everyone Thinks

After lawyer Mr. Jha left, before anyone could say anything, the aggrieved voice of eldest uncle came "Father! What is the meaning of all this? It is all for her only? We are not getting anything extra anyway. Why are we even in this meeting then?"

Grandpa Patel looked toward his second son and said calmly "Of course it is for her. She is the new addition to the family and we are trying to fit her in our family and business so that she may feel like a part of the family in a true sense. And this is how any decision in the family is conveyed to everyone. By calling a family meeting."

Eldest uncle has found his ground and is not in a need to back off easily. He questioned "Is it because of what I said about her? You do not have to go this far to prove me wrong."

Opposite to everyone's expectations, Grandpa smiled and asked "Why do you think this way? It is not like you can break them apart or they have any danger from you." Grandpa is already feeling happy enough after completing his task. So, it is not easy to anger him now.

Varsha looked toward Grandma who is smiling and looking toward her and then Grandpa and said in a meek voice "Grandpa! What is the use of doing it when it makes our family members unhappy? I already have enough to make me happy."

Grandpa said in a firm voice "No, I am not making anyone unhappy. How can someone be unhappy when I have not taken away the rights of anyone? You have been wronged and felt sad in front of me and I feel bad about it. So, I am simply doing it for peace of my mind. It makes your Grandma happy as well."

Varsha looked toward Grandma and Grandma said softly "The only person who should be unhappy is your husband but he is not. So, you should just concentrate on other things and let us be happy by doing things for you."

Grandpa knew that Varsha might want to give all her shares to Akash so he got one additional clause added to the property papers. Shares can only be transferred to the children of Akash and Varsha or it will go to a charity. Grandpa is feeling happy about this clever idea of his and smiled toward his wife who is also aware of this clause. They know that this girl Varsha is too emotional and might give those shares to make others happy so they intentionally came with this idea to block that path for her and now she can only keep it whether she wants it or not.

Eldest Aunt, the mother of Arpit looked toward Varsha with a complicated gaze and said "In our family's younger generation she is the first person who is getting shares directly. Even Akash does not have him and his shares are still with his mother after passing of his father. But Varsha will have right to 15% the moment documents are processed."

"Everyone will get their rights eventually. Sons will get their inheritances from their parents. We only did this decision by ourselves for Akash and Varsha. Many of you will hate if we decide things for you. So, why are you concerned about Akash and Varsha when they both are okay with it?" Grandma said while smiling. She is also thinking the same as her husband. Today she is really happy and petty arguments can not dampen her jolly mood.

Akash looked nonchalantly toward his Grandma and returned her smile. He has already decided. He has his future plans in his mind. He will work on his plans and verify the success rate of his projects in the family business and then start his own business parallelly. Having more than one business in the family is also not bad. If his wife holds shares of Patel Family Business, it is also a matter of no concern to him. He is too proud and confident in himself to think negatively about such a small thing. Shares are anyway within the family itself and what is best is that his grandparents, mother, and sister are all happy.

Elder uncle felt discontent thinking that his father is trying to show him his place by this action. Although his shares are not cut, the status of Varsha is elevated in the share of the business. But he is a bit happy because the share of Akash is only left to be 10%. Elder uncle thinks that even if Akash has not said anything, he will still feel wronged because his wife has more shares than him.

Eldest uncle could see from the expression of Akash that he did not show any support or happiness toward his wife in receiving such power in family business. Who would work as a laborer in a business where all his shares are in hand of his unwanted wife? Share means power in decision making. Will he allow his dumb wife a say in this. He will definitely feel discontent due to this someday and that day will be the day of forming of a rift between husband and wife. Even if there is nothing today in their relationship but still it is not where it can fall apart.

Grandpa is happy and Grandma is also happy. Eldest uncle is also happy because he thinks even if Akash is indifferent, later this decision of today will certainly break their relationship and once the relationship is broken Varsha cannot keep all those shares anyway.

Varsha is speechless on the turn of events. She can see that everyone is happy including eldest uncle. She is curious as well as impatient to ask a few questions but does not wish to break the silence. Did she really become queen? How did it happen? She felt that it all is unreal and she looked toward Ira beside her and found her keeping both hands on her mouth to suppress her giggles.

Everyone is thinking about their own plans. Some are being careful, some do not care, some are scheming but one thing all of them forgot. That is the feeling of Varsha. No one knows the depth of her love toward Akash. If they knew, they will know that all their motives, all the precautions they have in mind will all feel useless.

Ira has spent maximum time with Varsha and even without talking about it she can feel her love toward her elder brother. If anyone is in the family who is most understanding of the situation is Ira. While everyone is thinking hard to find a way to work around the situation, she has ample time to laugh on them. Seeing the expression of Grandpa and Grandma she could not help giggling.

Everyone looked at her questioningly. Grandma is of course in a good mood and asked: "What is so funny?"

"Everything is funny." then she looked around and when her gaze met with Varsha, Ira laughed again.

Arpit who only cares about how Akash is acting and he also has not cared much till now, looked toward Ira and asked "What is it? Help us also with your joke."

Ira looked toward calm eldest uncle and then toward Arpit and giggled and said "Everyone is acting so funny. Anyway, I have won a bet with sister-in-law, so I am happy."

Ira looked toward Varsha who is also looking at questioning gaze and whispered in her ears "What did I say? Don't forget our bet. Shopping tomorrow."

Varsha smiled seeing the happy expression of Ira and said "Okay." At least someone looks genuinely happy. She also felt happy that at least there is someone whose emotions she can read.
