In 1926, I left Silas and Aaron; I had fallen for Aaron but deep inside, the hunter inside would not allow me to forget what Aaron really is, a Vampire.

I did teach him to fight, we practiced nonstop for months and that is when it happened. He showed me how good he could be and I began to have feelings for him. But after only three years I began to dream of killing Aaron. Without Casimir's presence, I couldn't hold onto the peace any longer. So I left, to save Aaron.

By 1930, everything that I had set free came back. First, Lothair and Leon returned in higher spirits than they had left in. Shortly after, Casimir came back from the monastery with an inner peace that radiated in his aura. He was calm and cool, yet warm and sympathetic. There was still a dark energy about him but he was at peace.

About five years later, Lena came knocking at the door of our loft in the big city. She asked for my forgiveness, which there was none to give. I welcomed her with open arms and she was mine again. Everything was as it should have been.

Then in 1959, the Garrett family welcomed their newest member to the family, Aiden Michael. He was a bouncing baby boy but not The immune that I have been waiting for. He is now six and adores us all, which who wouldn't. He has Aunt Lena, who spoils him rotten, Uncle Lott, who pretends to be his big dog, Uncle Cas, who teaches him the finer points of peace and love. Aiden adores him and he is very patient for a six year old. Now he wants to learn to fight. Heaven forbid an immune who has actually embraced his strength.

I have a feeling that Aiden will be different, maybe not The immune, but definitely a unique one. He just may be the immune to give me my love. Though I know what that means.

I am to be the last Kethra, yet there is still two, Lena and myself. I fear what that means. One day, Lena will die. That is the only way for me to be the last and it breaks my heart to think about. I try not to think about it and most of the time, I don't, but I know, time is running out. And my time with Lena is going to come to an end. All I can do is hope that it ends quickly for her. Please, Gods, I hope I'm not there to see her end. I think if I am it would kill me.

She is still my everything. We decided to build a house. One that Lena will design and we can call our home. She has all of these ideas and I bought a very large span of land for her to build the house. In a few years, we will have our home and we all will be one large family, Lena, Casimir, Lothair, Leon, Aiden, Michael, Corrine and me. I can't wait.
