Yesterday was my fourteenth birthday. Dah told me a few days ago, that I have been betrothed to the eldest prince of Greece, Angelos. I spent most yesterday preparing to meet him. We were having our annual ball to celebrate me and my day of birth. I looked in my mirror and practiced my curtsy and posture, I wanted Angelos to want me and be the queen that he could be proud to have.

I remember nearing the extravagant ballroom and my Dah met me at the doors. He, of course, stood tall and proud, though he isn't very tall, his posture and presence was majestic, though. His long, red hair dawned his crown over his light, green eyes. He looked over at me with pride in his face. He assured me that I looked perfect with my full length gown that was silver with a violet hue to it. It was very appealing on my fair olive complexion. The sleeves were a sheer lilac color and wrapped around my arms rather than on top of my shoulders, which opened up my neckline, revealing my cleavage. At my waist was a similar sheer lilac band that extended to the bottom of my dress into a full bell.

My bright red hair draped in curls above and around my face. In the center of my curls rested my favorite tiara which is full of diamonds and twined around like vines to a slight heart shape above my face. Dangling from the small point at the top of the heart is a brilliant, bright amethyst gem. And around my neck was a small diamond necklace with a similar heart shaped amethyst hanging low, bringing attention to my bust.

Dah and I gracefully entered the ballroom and all eyes followed us as we seemingly floated in. I held my head up proudly and looked ahead at my prince. He is very handsome, tall and brawny; a brave looking man with a stone jaw and narrowed eyes that seem to see everything around him. His perfect blond hair was smooth with every hair in its place and his brow creased sternly. He wore a deep red and gold sash across his chest and over his shoulder with a black satin vest over a white linen shirt. He stood tall and proud; as any king should.

Behind him I could see Leonidas, his younger brother. His brown hair was longer than Angelos' but not near as perfect. His golden, honey colored eyes were wider and nothing like his elder brother's dark blue eyes. His posture was tall but lax, not as proud but uniform to his family members. I could tell he didn't really want to be here.

I strolled to Angelos and offered my hand to him. He took my fingers delicately in his and raised them to his lips. He kissed the back of my fingers as a perfect gentleman then he led me to the center of the room for a dance. We waltzed for most of the night in front of the entire kingdom. I didn't want the night to end. It was full of magick.
