Just before I came here however, I met a man. Well, he's not exactly a man but half. He's half human and half wolf. He is the first of his kind. He can change into this huge wolf with tremendous strength and agility. I had been in the forest trekking after Leon, when these huge wolves jumped out and attacked me. There were four of them and I thought to myself that I was going to lose the battle. Suddenly, a fifth one jumped out into the clearing that these wolves had made and it started attacking the other wolves. He practically ripped one of them apart and the others retreated.

This wolf then turned and looked at me and I could see that there was something different about him. There was something gentler about him. Suddenly, there before my eyes, I watched him change. He was a man, Not very big or intimidating but petite and feminine. He walked toward me and sniffed at my neck. "You're different. Like me, you look human but your blood smells of something else." He said frankly, yet with a delicate tone and a faint accent that sounded proper.

"Yes, I am a Kethra, half human and half demon. I am to look human so that I can be appealing to the eye. It makes it easier to assassinate my targets." I stated in my own Irish accent. "And you?"

"Lycanthrope, half human, half wolf. I am the first of these beasts able to take on human form. Those beasts there are what I call windigo. They used to be human but when they were attacked by others like them, they turned, never to take human form again. My mother was like that and then gave birth to me. I assume that is why I am the first."

We talked for a while about ourselves and what we were. I have never encountered a lycanthrope or a windigo before and so this was all new information. A new possible ally and new enemy I had to learn to fight. He spoke of his life of servitude to a vampire clan lead by a ruthless vampire named Rurik. Rurik had tortured and killed many if his own kind and Lothair wants his blood as much as I want Leon's.

I met his pack of lycan, as he calls them, but one of them caught my eye, though. He is huge, a tall muscular dark skinned man named Ade. He is Lothair's second in command and I can understand why. We all spoke about the windigo and their strengths, how to fight them, how to take them down. We spoke of Rurik and Leonidas, or now known as Angelos.

Before the night was over, Lothair and I made a pact. I will help him find Rurik and he will help me find Leon, but we will not kill them ourselves. He gets Rurik and I get Leon. After that night, I left continuing east till I met Ming Hu, my sensei. We are starting my training tomorrow and I feel excited to learn. I now have a goal.

I want to be indestructible. I am going to be a force to be reckoned with. The best warrior the world has ever seen. I am going to be a Master of War!
