Demon King/The Parting of the Orchid and Cang Chapter 10.2

First winter, snow has filled the whole sky in Kun Lun (mountain range).

Little Orchid couldn’t bear to look at the water figure walking in the front, its legs and head were frozen, but it still took great effort to walk. It led Dong Fang Qing Cang deeper into Kun Lun blanketed by snow.

“It’s almost dying.” Little Orchid said, “You’re not going to give it more magic or make it a bit warmer?”

“Its purpose is to die.” Dong Fang Qing Cang heartlessly said.

Little Orchid pouted and scolded Dong Fang Qing Cang was heartless in her mind.

The water figure led them to one mountain top. A wave of wind stroked down on the body. Its body hardened and became completely frozen from head to toe; yet, its finger still pointed ahead from the distant.

Little Orchid climbed on the mountain, and looked in the direction the finger was pointing. Under the mountain was a deep chasm, and on the rocks under the chasm there was cave, appearing and disappearing. It was wide two zhang (6.66 meters).

Dong Fang Qing Cang has superhuman vision. Little Orchid blinked and looked closely in front. She immediately saw

the frozen wall surrounding the cave to be covered in blue ice crystals. Little Orchid doesn’t know what those were, but looking on the outside, she knew that the energy in the frozen cave was extremely cold and at least, colder than on the mountain top by far.

Little Orchid knew that Dong Fang Qing Cang’s body is strong, but…

She used the left hand to pull on the front of the robe, Dong Fang Qing Cang wore three layers of clothes. The black robe outside is quite beautiful, but greeting the wind in this snow-filled day, it’s not one bit useful. Little Orchid asked, “Before my master used to say, under Kun Lun mountain range there is a demon market. Don’t we need to buy a fire fox-fur coat to wear before we enter that cave ah? It appeared that there is some type of seal there, seems to be extraordinary cold ah.”

Dong Fang Qing Cang paid no attention to her. The energy under the feet moved and carried the whole body toward the frozen cave on the cliff.

Not entering the cave yet, Little Orchid has already felt a surge of terribly cold energy crashed into the face.

It’s indeed an abnormal place. Before along the way, even

“Be quiet.” Dong Fang Qing Cang coldly said, and he stepped inside the frozen cave. As if noticing someone’s stepping in, the cave whizzed out a cold wind, blowing each silver white hair strand of Dong Fang Qing Cang, causing his long silver white hair down to his feet to suddenly become thin frozen dregs/residue.

Little Orchid cannot help but began to tremble, her heart was more unease, “Really cold ah. Big devil, this place is really not good ah… Master has said before cannot go to places like this, in the world there are many strange seals/holes. Even if the person

the person was powerful to whatever extent, still only the strength of one person. Cannot go against with the natural law…”

“Hah, natural law?” Dong Fang Qing Cang continued to step in the forward direction. Seemingly there was a fire under his legs climbing up, and split into three flames. One went straight into the deepest part of the cave, as if battling against the cold wind, and burnt up the ground to create a path. The two remaining flames split one left and one right. They burnt the rocks up top. Little Orchid saw the surrounding blue ice crystals beginning to melt while the last two remaining exploded due to the flames. Rupture/bursts sounded from the left side. When she turned around to look, three feet in front of Dong Fang Qing Cang there were no longer a single shadow of the blue ice crystals but merely an ash rock wall.

“Natural law is nothing.”

Dong Fang Qing Cang scornfully said and then continued to step forward. Each step there was a fire appearing and dispelling the cold energy in the frozen cave.

Little Orchid inside Dong Fang Qing Cang’s body saw [this] and was flabbergasted, but after becoming shock at the strength at the strength of Dong Fang Qing Cang and after going further in, the uneasiness of hers became even stronger, “Big devil, I felt that besides the cold, there is something else here as well ah, I…”

Not finished speaking, Little Orchid felt a surge of pain like tearing apart one’s lungs transmitting from the deepest part of the body. It’s like when Dong Fang Qing Cang was forcing the souls to switch bodies.

Little Orchid groaned utterly loud. At this moment, she felt the body leaned to the right, and her face surfaced. But within the shifting of the world (idiom: sky spinning and earth going round), Little Orchid seemed to saw Dong Fang Qing Cang’s soul be pulled out from the body, then followed a unfathomably strange gush of wind that came from outside the cave, and was blown into the deepest part of the cave.

After that, Little Orchid can no longer sustained in Dong Fang Qing Cang’s body for much longer and as if being torn apart, was blown into a mysterious cave with blue light by the wind.

The soul departed from the body in the mortal realm.

Master has said, that’s death.
