Battling Records of the Chosen One Chapter 46: Precious Liquor Named Four Seasons

Though Mu Wansu was surprised by Lin Xun's composedness, when she saw the flagon Childe Shi took out, the expression on her face changed. 

"Childe Shi…"

She could not keep silent anymore with anxiety between her frowned eyebrows. 

"It’s okay."

Shi Shuan waved his hands to stop Mu Wansu talking, and then lifted the flagon and poured a cup full of it.

Looking at Lin Xun's bright red cheeks, he inquired, "Little brother, would you like to enjoy the third cup?"

There was a stern expression on Shi Shuan's face while he frowned.

Empire of the Dark, which was located in the deep and turbulent wasteland, was an implacable foe of Ziyao Empire. 

"If Shie Yutang said so, it couldn't be wrong. I can’t imagine the Empire of the Dark will start making troubles again after thousands of year."

Mu Wansu tightened her mouth with a touch of worry in her eyes. 

"Forget it. I’m just wondering whether Shie Yutang has found that Peerless Treasure the Flamen referred to."

Coldness emerged in the eyes of Shi Shuan. 

Mu Wansu didn't know how to answer the question since the clues they had found were too scarce. All speculations were unreliable unless they could have a conversation with Shie Yutang.

 After some time during which one may finish a cup of tea, Lin Xun opened his eyes. With copious spirit energy, the aura he held up changed a lot in such a short period of time. He now looked somehow incisive and fierce like a sharp blade just getting unsheathed . 

Within the body, the vigorous and pure spirit energy traveled around the meridians and orifices, passed the Heart Vessel and Four Acupoints, cycled once in the five internal organs and then went back to the meridians. 

The orifices in his body were now infused with subtle spirit light, echoing with the blood and Qi fiercely. 

He reached Orifices Connecting, the fourth level of Martial Realm! 

Connected orifices had a positive effect on the spirit, which then would influence blood and Qi energetically. When one reached this level, his Qi function and power would be transformed again. 

"Congratulations! You had a new breakthrough on the cultivation."

Shi Shuan laughed and cupped his hands to greet Lin Xun. 

Lin Xun got up hurriedly and saluted back, “I really have to thank you for this. Without the liquor you just gave me, I would never break through now.”

Lin Xun sat down joyfully.

Shi Shuan nodded and then was lost in his mind whilst Mu Wansu frowned and asked, "Little brother, are you sure about it?"

Before Lin Xun responded, Shi Shuan waved his hands and said, "All right, ask no further. I got it."

Mu Wansu was dissatisfied with Lin Xun's respond and stared him with hostile eyes. The kid drank Four Seasons without appreciation; worse still, he never spoke of anything valuable. How irritating. 

However, she understood a young kid at such a barren place might never hear of the Peerless Treasure. 

At the same time, the gate of the yard was pushed open and the village head Shiao Tianren came in excitedly and blurted out, "Good news, Lin Xun, we have harvested…"

He stopped abruptly when he saw there were two strangers in the yard besides Lin Xun and the expression on his face changed subtly.
