Ain't Your Regular Girlfriend 28 28 YOU BACKED OUT?

Clara came to my house immediately she got home from school, she is sleeping over., Tacha, Magritte and her will leave for the airport tomorrow morning.

I won't be going with them. "You sure you wanna go there?". Clara asks me with her eyes downcast. I know that look in her eyes. Once she started acting all weird know she's probably up to something and I'm gonna find out whatever it was.

"Fuck! Clara, go with me if you really care, yeah? ". I say with my brow raised, waiting for her reply though I knew what it would be.

"You knew our deal! nd I don't wanna go to Porcaro's city".

"Yeah, you don't have to remind me though you going with me won't change anything. We will still make it on time to the airport". I say Clara shakes her head in disapproval. "C-clara, you sure this is the reason you don't wanna go with me". I smile and eye her. I could tell she's really hiding something. Gosh! that smile playing on her lips.

"No! Not really". She laughs and pushes herself to the bed.

"Seriously? You ain't gonna share your smiles with me?". I say softly trying to bite down the urge from laughing with her. Though I look weird doing so and I get a lot of positive comments on that.

"Well, if you must know. I got an invitation from Lary". My God! Lary her Instagram crush.

"And what did you say? You going right? ". I ask but she looks away. "Clara don't tell me you turned it down". I say and sit on the bed beside her.

"I did".

"What? You joking right? you've wanted your whole life and now he noticed. You backed out? Why that?". I asks and realized that sometimes I really don't get Clara's actions. I mean she has been crushing over this dude since I've known her and now she's backing out? Hell, not happening!" Clara? ".

"It's nothing... Just... the invitation was tomorrow and we promised to go with Tacha to the airport".

"Seriously? That is it? You could have told me! I can still tell Nathan I ain't coming to the club". I say and felt really bad.

She's been scared of going out since and now the famous YouTuber she has been cruising about asked her out and she turned it down just to go to the airport with Tacha? How could she do that to herself? I mean it's good to care for others but at times be selfish...think more about your happiness first.

Though I'm happy for Tacha, finding her real parents was a dream come true and a big work but all done by Armando, dad's private investigator but she's happy now and would leave for Mexico tomorrow.

"You alright?". Clara asks me weaving her hand in my face to bring me back to reality.

I sigh and walk to sit on the chair beside my bed. Right now I'm totally confused, not sure if sitting or standing which one my body needs. I stand and walk to sit back on the bed and caught Clara smiling.

"Why that?". I ask her.

"Smile please, and be careful it's a night at the Porcaro's club".

"I ain't talking about that shit!... besides its adult night club not a chicken school club". I smirk and walk to the new big mirror Magritte bought from Target the day she came back from Chicago. " You think this will go?". I groan at the black dress that barely covers my thigh".

"Go? gosh! Lara, you've got everything a girl would dream of all in one body. I'd love to trade them with mine". Clara laughs and walks to wrap her hand around me from behind. "Come let me walk you to your car". She smiles and drags me out of the room.
