His voice was deep, and contained a slight tinge of excitement.

With his cultivation level, it was an easy feat to project his voice so that everyone in the Battle Arena was able to hear him.

With the king's approval, General Nanbai Zhaoyu immediately flew towards the biggest raised platform that was situated right in the middle.

Just as everyone had their eyes locked onto the General, a softer voice called out at the area of the youngsters. This voice was loud enough for all the youngsters to hear, yet soft enough not to disturb the other spectators in the Battle Arena.

"Groups one to five follow me down to the platforms. We will now be starting the qualifiers!"

Lu Tianzi's ears perked up upon hearing that.

He was in group three, so he would have to go down now.

"Good luck!" Nanlan Qianxue pumped her fist with a smile.

"Go show them the strength of the Nine Suns Sect!" Nanqing Haowen encouraged as well.

"Be careful," Nanhuang Jiansheng warned.

"Yeah!" Lu Tianzi steeled his resolve before making his way down, the panic from before no longer anywhere to be seen on his face.

There were many smaller raised platforms positioned around the main platform that General Nanbai Zhaoyu was on right now.

These platforms were meant for the qualifiers, or in other words, for members of the younger generation to battle it out within their groups.

As the qualifiers, their fights would be held at the saem time as when the older generation were still showing off their stuff. This meant that almost nobody would be looking at them during this period.

Only the strongest ones in each group would stand a chance to advance to the next stage, finally stepping onto that main platform where they would face those who had similarly advanced from other groups.

That was the only way to attract the attention of the Scarlet Moon Overlord!

Lu Tianzi was guided by the ushers onto one of the raised platforms, where he stood face to face against a young man who looked just about the same age as him.

"Nanlu Tianzi, Nine Suns Sect," Lu Tianzi's eyes carefully scrutinised his opponent.

Instead of staying low profile and quietly leaving the scene while acting as a depressed disqualified participant, Lu Tianzi had decided to revert back to his original plan.

Since the Scarlet Moon Overlord failed to single him out, there was no longer a need for him to hold back anymore.

Lu Tianzi would use this opportunity to prove his worth in front of the Scarlet Moon Overlord, aiming for a status that could secure him the cultivation resources required to climb even higher, even faster!
