What: High School Graduation… 18th birthday

This is my most awaited moment in my life - to graduate in high school, especially to celebrate my eighteenth birthday! Despite the lack of feast for this occasion, I still have a huge reason to feel happy!

"Congratulations, graduates!" The speaker concluded his speech and then every student who graduated with me stood up and cheered.

I looked at my surrounding, and saw that no one was cheering for me. How I wish my mom and dad were still alive to see their unica hija finishing high school! I glanced on the clock, it's actually four pm…. meaning I have to go home. I don't have time for celebration, nor for saying goodbyes. I didn't wait anymore for the picture-taking as I hastily went out… though due to my carelessness, I bumped with a familiar person.

"Sorry," I looked up to see that the person who collided with me was Prince Dustin Blake! The Prince of my life!!!

"Owem…ji… so-sorry!" (TL: Yeah, owemji = OMG)

He smiled a killer smile at me! And I died that instance! "It's okay!"

A chance which comes rarely! He's my schoolmate, classmate and seatmate inside the room but I never managed to hold a conversation with him before, nor confessed my feelings for him… You asked why?

"Dustin!"

"Elysse." Then they hugged each other in front of me. "Congratulations!"

"Likewise! There's a party at home, you're invited!"

"Sure!"

She's Elysse Fabel… you're asking who she is? She's the princess of my life story. Is she together with Dustin? No one knows.

But because both of them are perfect… perfect in all aspect of life and perfect for each other, there's no reason to protest and meddle with their relationship.

They no longer paid attention to me. Anyway, who am I for them to pay their attention to? That was why I left. Also I was thinking that if I went home late, that would be a big problem.

"What time is it already?!!!" Yeah, that's my auntie - Aunt Seline. "You must have forgotten that you have a mountain's worth of work to do at home! Alyanna, don't ever reason out that you can do as you please now that you have graduated in high school!"

Obviously, she's the villainess of my life story. She's cackling at me while dragging me towards the kitchen. "I'm really sorry… this won't happen again."

"Of course, this won't happen ever again! Start cooking!!!" And then here comes her eardrum-splitting scream!

"How thick-faced you are to come home late? What, planning to make me do those stuff?" Said by my bitchy cousin. She's also one of my life story's villains - Cerina.

I have finally graduated. It's also my debut today…. but here I am, serving my aunt and her daughter who raised me after the death of my parents.

TIME: 11: 45 PM

I had just finished all the tasks given by my relatives whose hobby was to slave me around. About this, I was just too used to it to raise any complaints… I'm helpless against them. It's the fact that I'm indebted to them when they accepted and fed me in their household. Without them, I would be roaming and growing up in the streets.

But as said by the ancestors, everything has an end! And all of my sufferings will end tomorrow! Yes, tomorrow! This is why the best thing to do now is to rest because tomorrow is an important day for me.

TIME: 5:00 AM

The day I have been waiting for!!!

With the sun yet to rise, I woke up especially early for this special day! However, when I was opening the door of my room…

"Why is it so hard to open?" I tried pushing the door for so many times but it was as if something was barring me from the outside. I peeked from below and confirmed that something was used to blockade me! I suspected that the one who did this, was my cousin!!! "Hey!!! Cerina! Let me out!!!"

… Fine… don't let me out of here, you guys will do all of the house chores!

But I have been screaming and slamming the door for so long, but nothing's happening! With this much of ruckus, my aunt should have climbed upstairs to scold me.

TIME: 7: 30 AM
Something's not right!!! Usually in this hour, if I was still not doing my household obligations, my aunt would have long thrashed me to the soil and poured cold water on me. But today, there's nothing!

I tried listening on the state of the whole house, and then I realized that it seemed there was no one else here except from me! "Why is it so quiet? Where's auntie?"

TIME: 9: 00 AM

Aside from my protesting stomach, my heart is pounding hard because of the weirdness of the situation. Don't tell me they have already abandoned me? But where have they gone into? And why did they leave me?

“IT WAS I WHO SHOULD BE LEAVING THEM!"

I sat on my bed, and covered my face with my hands… That was when I had only noticed another weird thing…

"What's with the ink on my fingers?" It was as if my finger prints were taken without me knowing!!! I thought for a moment… and calmed myself.

"This is not possible! Absolutely not!" But because of nervousness, I shivered while staring at my inked fingers. "My signature… they surely need that. Finger prints won't suffice, right? They need my signature for that!"

I tried to convince myself but there's only one way to make sure of it. I have to leave this room! And the only way is by the window.

I started tying up everything possible to use to jump all the way down from this house's third floor. Then I looked down to gauge how high it was. "You can do this Yana… you can do this."

Even though the make-shift rope fell short in length, I still tried going down using it, and when I reached the end of the rope, I gathered all my willpower to jump down…

*Buuggggggsh!!!*

"Awww…" I fell down on the garden, while earning some scratches. I tried  to stand up and… "Thank goodness!" I'm still alive! I'm still alive!!!

I'm still alive and I managed to survive that death-jump! Afterwards, I went inside the house only to be surprised by what I saw…

"None?" I ran towards my aunt and cousin's room… "Where are they?" Their belongings were no longer here, the clothes, everything!!! "They abandoned me?"

… Fine… that's good!

But I knelled on the floor… did they run away with my money from the bank? With the wealth left by my parents which I should be able to claim once I'm in legal age?

I started crying… I ran outside even though I've yet to put something on my stomach and wear on fresh clothes. I ran barefooted for a couple of kilometers towards the bank where my wealth left by my parents was saved.

And when I get there… "Sorry ma'am but the account closed down. When we were opening the bank, someone claimed all the money and assets within that account."

"How's that possible?" The fatigue from all the running started rushing unto me. Also, the stuffiness in my heart worsened.

"They submitted a written document claiming that Miss Alyanna Rohan transferred all of her properties to her relative Mrs. Seline Rohan. According to the document signed by Mrs. Rohan, she was Miss Alyanna's aunt."

And all I can do… is close my eyes because of so much depression and anger. All of my dreams, everything actually flew away…

By the way… I am Alyanna Rohan… and I am the protagonist of this life story who no longer have any reason and aspiration to live.
