The Heavens and the Earth care for nothing, because they are merciless in nature. But if an emperor does not care his people, it is just because he is merciless.

Above the Xuanhuang Land, seven rivers in seven colors, namely red, orange, yellow, green, black, blue and purple, are floating in the vault of heaven like streamers all over. These rivers are what so called The Rivers of Destiny.

In a white gown, Lin Ruoxi sit cross-legged in bed with pain all over her beautiful face, curls of orange smoke floating above her head. Her gown was drenched by sweating, shaping out her perfect body and showing her pale skin indistinctly.

"Sir, our Lady can not hold on anymore!" The maid of Lin Ruoxi reported to Xiao Lingtian. She was frightened by the paleness on her ladyship's face.

While the maid was talking, the light yellow curls gradually deepened and eventually became dark yellow ones.

There was no changes of the color to the curls after dark yellow, but Lin Ruoxi was wet through by her sweat and she started to trembling.

Lin Ruoxi's gorgeous face turned red, from a light red to a bloody one after a short while.

And her body were shaking so badly that, with the redness, she even looked like a growing fire ball.

"NO! Our lady fails to wake up her Soul of Destiny and very soon she will be possessed by the Devil!" The maid Yun Er shouted out, "Sir, please, save my Ladyship. You are her Wu-destiny partner, and she will be dead if you do not save her! Only you can save her, please!"

"Ruoxi! Hold on!" Xiao Lingtian cried and then he sat cross-legged behind Lin Ruoxi.

Putting his hands against Lin Ruoxi's back, Xiao Lingtian transmitted multiple white smokes into the lady's body.

Actually, the white smokes were Xiao Lingtian's spiritual soul. Once transmits out, there is no way to grow them back. But Xiao did this anyway, without any hesitation, for Lin Ruoxi was the one he cared most.

With Xiao's spiritual soul, the redness on Lin Ruoxi's face faded away and her body returned to normal with no heating or trembling.

But Lin Ruoxi was not happy or relieved for staying alive from being possessed by the Devil.
