Chapter 1 — This Male Lead Is a Bit Crazy (1)

The food’s fragrance diffused through the air, provoking the people munching on bread and mineral water in the drawing room . They swallowed, greed shining in their eyes .  

“Mama, I’m so hungry . ” A young girl raised her head hopefully at her mom .

A woman with a sweet, but somewhat pale face gently coaxed her, “Be obedient darling, wait for daddy to come back with food, okay?”

But only she knew that he who went out with several other men to look for food would probably never be able to return .

An unknown virus had broken out and humanity had turned into something similar to the zombies on tv, causing everyone to fall into a desperate situation . Compassion had disappeared in order to survive, with water and food being the most important resources .

This firm, sealed building had become their refuge . Nobody dared to go out in fear of becoming one of the dreaded zombies .

Su Yuqing swallowed her saliva and turned to look at the person beside her, “Qingqing, what do you plan to do?”

Sitting beside her was a fair girl with her face slightly dirtied, but the filth was still unable to hide her beauty as she whispered back in reply, “I don’t know . ”

Su Yuqing secretly rolled her eyes but pretended to pitifully rub her stomach, tears in her eyes as she spoke, “Qingqing, I’m so hungry, I can’t stand it . I want to escape this stifling, dreadful place . ”

The other girl hesitated, speaking timidly, “But Yuqing, this is the safest area . ”

Su Yuqing restrained the impatience in her heart and patiently persuaded her, “But it’s impossible to stay here forever, right? We already haven’t eaten anything for 2 days, and there’s no guarantee that a zombie won’t burst in here . Qingqing, we have to find a way out or we’ll just be waiting for our deaths . ”

The other girl wanted to speak but then hesitated, biting her lip, “Then what do you want to do?”

Su Yuqing signalled with her eyes to look at the group of men in the center, whispering softly, “See over there? Those people definitely have special abilities and different from the other groups; furthermore, according to their earlier conversation, their destination is S Military Base .  Based on their appearance, they’re probably just resting here for a while so if we beg them, they should take us along . ”

It’s already been a month since the apocalypse . To resist the zombies and survive, many areas have already established bases and S Military Base was the most sought after one by everybody . Life inside S base was an unknown number times better than other bases, but getting accepted inside wasn’t simple . The two had previously barely survived by eating the food in their school bags, but had just ran out of food a few days ago . Earlier, there were also groups with special abilities in the refuge, but for them who had no special abilities or use, it was impossible to be accepted into their teams .

Su Yuqing refused to die here, biting her lip as she pulled her friend to stand up . They walked straight to the middle and approached the man that seemed like the leader .

As they neared, several men had already seemed to sense them as they opened their eyes, glinting with interest as they watched the two rather pretty girls come towards them .

Su Yuqing bowed slightly, exposing the soft, white ravine under the collar of their school uniform . The tears in her eyes made her seem exceptionally pitiful as she spoke, “Can we follow after you guys? Although we don’t have any abilities, we can still do some other things……”

The man sweeped his gaze across her face, swallowing as he moved his hand to touch the white thigh under her skirt, “You guys can do anything?”

Standing off to the side, Shen Mubai talked to the system in her head, “Oh~ the dirty business of the flesh . ”

System: “Don’t forget who you are and where you have to go . ”
