Chapter 4 — The Male Lead Is a Bit Sick (4)

Now the situation was critical . On top of that, one of the group members had seen her trip and killed the zombie that had appeared behind her . It didn’t matter if it was true or not, they wouldn’t take the risk and let her join the team . Even the group’s leader believed so .

Shen Mubai looked at their faces and immediately knew that no explanation would be useful . She went to complain to the system in her mind: “Oh, how wonderful ah . ”

She didn’t see any living zombies along the way, most likely killed by the other team . According to the safe route given by the system, Shen Mubai finally escaped from the place that was gradually becoming surrounded by the zombies .

On the bleak streets, the ruined shops and the zombie corpses made people become aware of the cruelty and despair of the last few days .

Shen Mubai became aware of the smell on her own body and reminisced about the vicissitudes of life . “System, I want to take a shower before I die . ”

The system ignored her .

The reason for Shen Mubai to appear was because the system told her that Huo Junhan who was in City A before, had suddenly shown up in City C . She quickly asked the system for the reason .  

The system itself was confused . “I don’t know, maybe because his internal strength is too much for his body . ” (TL: I don’t understand what that has to do with him coming to City C~)

Five meters in front of Shen, a dirty, ragged and unrecognizable zombie had suddenly appeared .

Shen Mubai suddenly felt awkward, and she asked the system with shaking legs . “Is he Huo Junhan?”

System: “No . ”

The voice of the system had just fell when a figure suddenly appeared behind the zombie . The next image was very cruel and bloody . In modern movies, it would have to be mosaiced .  

Shen Mubai saw the zombie completely smashed, the ground becoming stained with blood . The culprit took a dark red object from its chest and slowly chewed it in his mouth . The juice residue running down the side of his mouth .
