Upon seeing these stats Jay couldn't help but once again feel shocked. He knew he would have some useful titles beforehand but his starting stats were a lot higher then what they were in his previous life. Most people would only have 1 stat in the 8-10 range at level one while he had never heard of anyone going over 10 at level 1.

Despite all this, the biggest surprise was having 1 point of mana. In order to jump from 0 points to 1 point, there were a whole bunch of difficulties. In fact, he thought he would need a month at the very least to get initialized. Seeing that he would already be able to start using magic he naturally got quite excited.

Sadly in his last life, he wasn't able to go very far in magic since magical books were scarce and mostly monopolized by lords. In the end, he couldn't make his second magical advancement and remained at 20 mana, focusing on other means of combat instead.

Luckily in this life things would be different. He made his way towards the market with steady steps. Inside were multiple Magic circles each of which would teleport small items. Touching the runic circle he inserted a strand of mana, causing a screen to come over his eyes. On the screen, there were 4 options, 3 of which were darkened.

Firstly there was the 'System shop' this was the only one he could currently use. Secondly came the 'Player shop'. This would open up whenever another human in the region built a market. This was bound to take a few weeks since Marketplaces were extremely expensive to build at the start. The third option was the 'Special shop'. This shop would only be available for events so he was unsure when this would open up as many events differed from region-to-region. Lastly, there was the 'intergal market' something he had never heard of before, it seemed like it might be something unique to this market as it was awarded by getting the first platinum settlement.

Contently he opened up the system shop, just as you could buy things from there you could also sell items. But the deals were all quite a bit worse than the ones players would give. After browsing for a bit he landed upon the 'limited supply' category. All the items there were rare and quite overpriced. Yet items kept felling his virtual shopping cart. Over a dozen common-level magic books were bought in a matter of seconds, instantly emptying the system's supply of common magical books, yet also costing him a staggering 120 gold.

After this, he went towards the blueprint section where he spent another 30 gold in order to buy a barracks and stables blueprint. Even though he was sure his architect could produce these over time, the beginning stages are the most important and so this would be the right time to spend his gold.

Once he had done this he spent another 20 gold to get 20 regular farmers. In truth if anyone saw him paying a gold piece for a farmer in his previous life they would be shocked someone was willing to spend gold on regular farmers, it was just too extravagant.

Even though he was extremely happy with his purchases he was now left with only about 30 gold. Which in truth, was still quite a bit more then is normal on day 1.

The magical books that were previously bought were all pricey items so they were carefully handled by him. At first he took the books towards the mansion's library but after a moment of consideration he instead decided to bring them to the magic tower.

The tower was about 10 meters in diameter with 5 floors yet just a single window at the very top floor looking like quite a scary place. This thought would immediately change however when one took a step inside. On just the first floor there were half a dozen crystals emitting a myriad of lights beautifully causing one to simply stand still in the doorway for a second. The floor was made of a variant of glass that showed 5 different gems bathing in a pool that looked magical in every way imaginable.

Other than this, there were bookshelves that were all empty. The second floor somehow seemed larger then the first one. Similarly lighted yet devoid of bookshelves, only having 3 straw training dummies. Somewhat confused Jay decided to appraise them, only to laugh in surprise. This day truly had him feeling like a kid in a candy store.

Name: Magical training dummy

Quality: C+ grade

Talent: Self-repair, Damage assessment.

These dummies were actually C+ grade magical support equipment. It seemed like any future spellcasters won't have to worry about how to test out new magic.

The third floor, other than the lighting, had an odd round table inside, the table was absolutely filled with thousands of runes from top to bottom giving off a weird mystical aura. After some hesitation, Jay decided not to mess with it as he didn't want to accidentally ruin this potential treasure.

The door to the fourth floor seemed to be enforced with a special sort of iron. At his touch however it easily opened. He was rather disappointed by this floor however as it only held a completely empty library. The final floor was a barely lit study that only had a single eternally burning candle and the open window as light sources making it somewhat dark. The room was a study with a table, chair and a singular bookshelf on the side. This floor didn't disappoint. After all, there was a thin book in the middle of the table. It was titled 'Workings of a magic tower by Ksum Nole'.
