You Are Mine 29 bad influence...

Marlon's eyes almost popped out of their sockets when he saw Joseph on the door and he quickly handed the things to Christine. Since Christine was surprised, she absent-mindedly accepted them before turning around to see Joseph with the darkest expression.

"What is going on here?'', Joseph's voice roared like a lion and his eyes were fixed on the things that are on Christine's hands. He can see the foil, the lighter and the sachet with the drugs in it.

Christine was shocked and just froze at where she was standing. Her heart beats so fast, she wanted to move but she cant. She just stood there looking at Joseph with the drug still in her hands.

Joseph looked at her intently, his eyes like sharp knives peircing through her. She can see disappointment, anger, and hatred in his eyes. She wanted to hide or just vanish in thin air.

"So this explains why you behave the way you do", he said coldly and grabbed the drugs from her.

"That .... is .... not .... mine ...." she stammered, beads of sweat forming at her forehead.

"You lying bitch! " Joseph roared and slapped her.

"Ahhh", Christine gasped and touched her left cheeks. She did not expect it, she was shocked. She looked at him with pained expression.

"Bro", Jolo was also shocked, cant believe that Joseph would physically hurt Christine. He wanted to stop Joseph, he positioned himself between Joseph and Christine. Joseph pushed Jolo aside and he almost lost his balance with the force that Joseph used to push him.

"At first I did not believe and still gave you the benefit of the doubt, the chance and accepted you into my house but this is what you do. Old habits dont die easily, eh", he mockingly said and was like a lion looking hungrily at its prey.

"That is not mine, I just got here", he said and turned to look at Marlon but he just looked away. She looked at Jolo, her eyes pleading. Jolo looked at Joseph and was terrified with his look. He swallowed his saliva, beads of sweat forming at his forehead, he is scared with Joseph right now and he cant reason with him in this state right now.

"Jolo, please", she begged him to explain everything to Joseph and clear her name. But she saw the fear in his eyes. Jolo has put Joseph on the pedestal and he was trying everything he can to impress Joseph. She saw how helpless Jolo is. Looking at him who is torn between telling the truth to his brother which will put in a bad side or just let Christine handle it, Christine decided to just let Joseph believe what he wanted to believe. She doesnt want to break the good relationship between the two brothers. She will just take the blame.

"Jolo has nothing to do with this, it was me", she admitted without blinking, looking directly into his eyes. For just a split second, she saw pain in Joseph's eyes but was immediately replaced with hatred and disgust.

" I am not surprised. I heard a lot a bout you and I could not believe it but you just showed your true color", he said and his face getting darker and darker, he slowly closed the gap between him and Christine.

"You .. get .. out ... of my house", he said almost shouting and held her shoulders and shook her.
