Just a bit before the sun set, we were on standby at our meeting place by the riverbed, waiting for Father-in-law and his group.

When Yuki-chan and Sakura-chan appeared, both were quite quite obviously filorial queens now.

“You see, um, about midway through their figures changed this much, so are they really okay?” (Naofumi)

“Whoa… It’s sort of like a monster breeder game, eh?” (Naofumi)

While saying something along those lines, Father-in-law dismounted Sakura-chan.
As soon as he reached the ground, his attention was pulled to his sore, chafed butt and thighs.

“Geez… Since my lower body still isn’t used to riding, this is quite dreadful huh?” (Naofumi)

“Ah, it’s fine. I’ve halfway recovered on the trip back to you guys, after all.” (Naofumi)

“Oink…”

And at almost that exact moment, the Silt Welt pig tumbled down from Yuki-chan.
At the same time, Eclair revealed a green face as she leaned across Yuki-chan.

“T-this is my limit…” (Eclair)

Falling down with a thud, it’s starting to look like she’s dying.

“If it’s just about exterminating monsters, this resulted in a frightening amount of experience, but… This is more than I can…” (Eclair)

“Sir Iwatani is abnormal. To be treating this ride like nothing…” (Eclair)

Saying so, Father-in-law is scratching his head.

Father-in-law gave birth to the one who stands at the top of all filorials, Firo-tan.
His spirit isn’t so weak that he’d lose heart over that sort of jolting and tremoring.

“Now, how were today’s conquests?” (Motoyasu)

“Then it turned out rather well. If Father-in-law is ready, I would like to increase that level even further in preparation for the future.” (Motoyasu)

“That’s certainly true.” (Motoyasu)

I replied; if I think about it, I must take father in law to a town’s weapon shop.
It’s not as if using Weapon Copy won’t improve our equipment.*

“Hey Motoyasu-kun, I wonder, is it alright to do weapon enhancement and such on the newly revealed shields?” (Naofumi)

“Thank you. Now to pick a revealed shield with high abilities, huh.” (Naofumi)

There’s no guarantee of the weapon shop’s good shields rivaling what we have, though. Since I think it’s insufficient as of yet to awaken the shields through refining with what we have, I’m considering what our refining methods could achieve with lumber or other materials.
Fortunately, I think our current preparations are enough to defend against the average adventurer’s or soldier’s attack.

“With this, Father-in-law has also become strong to some extent.” (Motoyasu)

“Nevertheless, this is a great step forward.” (Motoyasu)

I lead Father-in-law out to the inn’s stable.
There, we found Yuki-chan and the other filorials restlessly waiting.

“Thank you for waiting!” (Motoyasu)

The filorials cheerfully replied as I arrived.
Given their hard work today, Father-in-law prepared them smoked meat as a reward.

“So? What is it we’re doing?” (Naofumi)
“Soon, soon…” (Motoyasu)

Yuki-chan and the others are happily singing their “kue-kue”s.
I whisper towards the filorials.

“Filorial ladies and gentleman, if you could consider gradually taking your angel form. Somehow or other… please display that honorable appearance!” (Motoyasu)

After exchanging glances at my words, Yuki-chan and the others stood straight up and… Started to transform.

“Wha…” (Naofumi)

Together with a faint light, the filorials transform into their angel forms.
Seeing their honorable appearance, Father-in-law was at a loss for words.

At the moment they transform, with the same color as their previous forms… wings sprout from their backs.

Oh? Is Yuki-chan slightly taller?
Her face gives the impression of leadership.

Kou gives the impression of an inquisitive and energetic boy.

Would she be called a drowsy sort? She gives a slightly sleepy impression.

With the cherry blossom colored hair on her head fluttering, a nude Sakura-chan embraces Father-in-law.

Though Father-in-law’s eyes are struck wide in surprise at Sakura-chan’s embrace, he diligently pats her head.
Raising her head to Father-in-law, Sakura-chan reveals a smile.

“Ehehe~” (Sakura)

“Yeah. So hey, I’ve wanted to say something since the time we met. Thank you for always stroking my head~!” (Sakura)
“Ah, sure…” (Naofumi)

At this situation, a troubled Father-in-law cast his gaze to the horizon.

“Motoyasu-kun, aren’t we going to put clothes on these kids?” (Naofumi)

“What for~?” (Sakura)

So miss filorial is firing a question right off the bat, huh?

“The thing is, by wearing clothes, everyone will increase their appeal!” (Motoyasu)

“Clothes~? Something like dressing up, right Yuki~? Naofumi wants Sakura to wear clothes?” (Sakura)

Sakura is quite the spoiled child. That appearance of a harmonious relationship with Father-in-law bears a striking resemblance to Firo-tan.

There are subtle differences in the way she walks.

From head to toe, Sakura-chan is disappointing.

“Um, that’s right, you know? It would be be really helpful if you could wear some clothes.” (Naofumi)

At Father-in-law’s words, Sakura-chan gave a serious nod.

“O-kay! Sakura will wear clothes~.” (Sakura)

“Ah! Sakura wants to do it first~” (Sakura)

“Hmph~…” (Sakura)

You’ll have to put up with it, Sakura-chan.
It seems like Yuki-chan has completely taken over the role of team leader between you three.

“Hm?” (Kou)

Kou stands silently off to the side.

When I turn him a gentle, approachable smile, Kou responds.

“Kitamura” (Kou)

“Huh… why is Kou the only one who used Motoyasu-kun’s family name?” (Naofumi)

Like this, our introductory episode ended, and Kou immediately began to crank the machine’s handle.

Yuki-chan was quick to scold Kou.
It’s quite the charming scene.

“After this… It looks like it should be fine if we head back to the room and call it a night, right?” (Naofumi)
“That seems fine.” (Motoyasu)

Once we confirmed that Yuki-chan, Kou, and Sakura-chan had all finished up spinning normal threads, the three donned temporary pajamas.

“I hope this is sufficient? I expect you good children to properly take care of Father-in-law while you sleep.” (Motoyasu)
“Understood.” (Yuki)

Yuki-chan is quite clever. It honestly reminds me a great deal of Midori.

“Yeah. Sakura also~ wants to sleep with Naofumi~” (Sakura)

“Yi~ppee~!”

As Sakura-chan’s face brightens, Father-in-law affectionately strokes her head.

Father-in-law was also exceedingly gentle with my filorials.

Once he finished, Yuki-chan picked up after him.

“Come, Sakura is next you know.” (Yuki)
“O~kay” (Sakura)

Sakura-chan grasped the machine’s handle and began to rotate her hand.
However, her personal pace turns out to be somewhat sluggish.

“Sakura, couldn’t you turn it a bit faster?” (Yuki)
“Eh~?” (Sakura)

Sakura-chan turns to Father-in-law.

“Does Naofumi want me to go faster~?” (Sakura)

“Is that so~? Then, Sakura will spin it at ease~” (Sakura)

So saying, Sakura began to spin her thread.

“Fuwaaa… Kou got drowsy.” (Kou)

“Well then, we will soon all head off to the bedroom.” (Motoyasu)

While Sakura-chan is spinning her thread, Yuki-chan and Kou are repeatedly yawning.
Since Father-in-law sent a signal that it’d be fine to go on ahead, I lead the two to the door.

“Well, if Sakura-chan can handle her thread, Motoyasu-kun says he’ll go ahead and take everyone off to bed.” (Naofumi)

“Ro~ger~” (Sakura)

Sakura-chan happily spins her thread, sometimes quickly and sometimes carefully, clearly enjoying herself.

The cozy scene stuck in my mind as I led the other two filorials back to the room and we all went to bed.
