Bai Aoxue listened to Hongxiu with interest and curled her lips. Her smile was terribly cold in the opinions of Mumian and Wenxi.

“Hongxiu…are you happy to win?” Bai Aoxue asked lightly, with her body leaning on the bed edge. She was so elegant and bewitched.

“Yes! I finally won Mumian for once. How can I not be happy! I am much happier that Princess…Princess…” Hongxiu paused when she caught the sight of Mumian's awkward facial expression and she realized how serious the situation was. All of a sudden, she turned pale, looking at Bai Aoxue.

Bai Aoxue smiled lightly at Hongxiu, who thought the smile was terrible.

“Well…I told the kitchen to simmer nutritious soup for you. I guess the soup is almost ready now. I need to check it out in the kitchen.” Hongxiu clapped her hands lightly as if she got something in her mind.

She would not wait for Bai Aoxue's answer and rushed out of the room quickly.

Hongxiu's action was so quick that Mumian and Wenxi didn't have time to think about what was going on.

Mumian finally realized what was going on until Hongxiu disappeared in distance.

“Well…Miss, I also have something…” Mumian looked at Bai Aoxue in dumb but her meaning was obviously shown through her eye sight.

Bai Aoxue smiled lightly, “Then you can go to attend your things. I got Wenxi with me.”

Bai Aoxue's words were an amnesty to Mumian. How dared she bet on her own master! It was equal to death! And what was more unfortunate was her master finding out the bet.

“But…you and Hongxiu will not get salary in the next three months. I think I am insulted by you. So, you must make up for me. If I find you do it again, I will not let it go so easily.” Bai Aoxue's cold words came to Mumian who had just stepped across the threshold.

There was a kind of threat in her words which made Mumian hold back all her explanation.

Thinking of this, Mumian took a deep breath, turned around with tears in her eyes, “Thank you, Miss. I got to go.”

Bai Aoxue tried her best not to laugh and waved to Mumian.

Mumian left the yard of Bai Aoxue quickly and went to the direction of Hongxiu.

When Mumian disappeared, Wenxi shook her head and laughed.

“Wenxi, you know I will go to Nanyue in fifteen days. I don't plan to take you with me.” Bai Aoxue spoke out her thought slowly, looking at Wenxi.

Wenxi turned to Bai Aoxue, looking at her in confusion.

Actually, she had thought through the situation. It was a risky choice to marry Jun Yeyan. Hongxiu and Wenxi could protect themselves, but Mumian was different. Mumian grew up with her, and had been through difficulties in the prime minister's mansion. But she didn't recognize the vicious human nature in this world.

Bai Aoxue was afraid of Mumian getting hurt if Mumian kept on following her all the time. Bai Aoxue had always been hoping that Mumian could live a better life and didn't have to be with her living in horror every day.
