"I don't want it." She adamantly shook her head, holding her tears back. 

Qingyue had understood that her Powers could accidentally kill someone she cares about. And the mere thought of it suffocated her. 

"Sshhh!" Keith hugged her trembling body and pulled her in his arms, squeezing her against his chest. 

"I don't want to harm anyone..." 

He heard her whisper and sighed in his heart.

"What you need to understand is that your Physique will awaken one day. It does not matter if I help you with it or not." He told her. "It is inevitable." 

"I don't want to harm you..." She started shedding tears as she clutched his shirt, and he sighed again before chuckling slightly.

"You can't." He assured her. "Your poison won't harm me if I am the first man to touch you. And only if it is out of your willingness. Besides, sleeping with you would eventually earn me immunity to most poisons in the world." 

Qingyue frowned at his words and stopped shedding her tears. She did not like how he worded it and glared at him when she separated from his embrace and met his eyes. 

"You are the only man who will ever touch me." She made it clear and watched him smile at her. 

"Of course." He nudged his nose with hers. "And Wifey, the abilities of your Physique are your Powers. You are capable of controlling them and not losing control over them. It won't be easy, but it is possible, and it is how it should be. You must have control over your Powers." 

"But what if I accidentally harm someone we care about?" She weakly asked. 

"If you are capable of creating a Poison to harm them, you are capable of creating its anti-dote too." He chuckled. "Don't think over it too much, and just focus on being careful." 

"How careful?" 

"Umm... Don't accidentally scratch someone other than me with your nails." He grinned at her, and she narrowed her eyes at him, holding back her blush. "Don't share your glass with anyone other than me, which means that no one must come in contact with your saliva. It also extends to your sweat, but only if you feel like you are angry and your heart is brimming with rage and malice. And if you are in such a mood, keep away from everyone until you have calmed down..." 

Keith kept telling her ways of taking precautions, and Qingyue attentively listened and preserved everything in her mind. 

The more she listened about how she could avoid accidents, the more relaxed she felt. Soon, she found herself brimming with excitement about finally awakening her Physique and becoming stronger. 

"Understood?" 

"Mhm." She assuredly nodded her head. 

"And don't forget to exercise your better judgement, silly girl." 

"I am not silly!" She leaned in and threateningly bit his cheek, but all she received was his chuckles in response to her threat. 

"Qingyue." 

"Yes, Keith?" 

"Never hold hatred towards your Powers. If you hate it, you will not be able to grow stronger, and you will not be able to control your powers either." He seriously said to her, and she nodded to him, promising to keep his words in her mind. 

Keith gently smiled at her naivety but sighed in his heart. He knew that it was inevitable that some accidents would happen, and people, including innocents whom she holds no ill will against, would die at her hands too. 

He knew that someday he might have to repeat the very words to her again, but he hoped that she would be able to overcome her fears on her own. 

"Hey..." She called out to him and smiled when their eyes met. 

Keith knew exactly what she wanted and leaned forward, capturing her lips and wrapping his arms around her slim waist. 

Qingyue could not bear the presence of her clothes between them and separated from his lips to take off her shirt and the bra she was wearing over her beautiful breasts.
