Vampire ruler's strong Bride Chapter 41: Interrogation !

A tension atmosphere was created the moment prince Eskylrious stepped in . Even though he wasn't aware of the details of what had happened he could immediately detect that Mr Ranch was the one who had slapped Kiara by her scent that was left in his hand . The death glare that he looked at Mr Ranch with made his face become pale .

" I think I just demanded an explanation ! Mr Ranch ! " said Eskylrious in a tone filled with anger .

Apart from the king who was only a bit scared, all the people in the room were scared to death by his aura and anger . All except Kiara who wasn't able to understand why he was like this .

" Calm down grandson ! I summoned them here to tell me everything . " said King Charles a bit nervous .

" I am telling you beforehand grandfather , whoever is responsible for this incident will be personally punished by me . " said Eskylrious with a fierce look in his eyes .

Due to the immense anger his eyes were starting to turn red . The king hurried and agreed to everything he wanted just to calm him down as soon as possible . The red eyes were the color that identified the royal purebloods . In ordinary people's point of view, this color was scary . In the past people almost rebelled against the royal family just because of their eye color . Then the Kadar family's alchemist invented a potion that could help the red-eye pureblood vampires to change their eye color . The potion was really efficient but it wasn't that more powerful than their feelings . Desire ,passion , anger , jealuosy , affection, and many more sentiments that came in large amount from their heart could not be stopped by the potion . From then on they were able to suppress lots of difficulties .

Prince Eskylrious sat on a couch near his grandfather and glanced at him . From his glance, the king understood that he wanted to start the interrogation .

" Okay ! Let's start ! Sir Browen , we would like to hear all that happened ? " asked the king .

" I took a random walk and was immersed in my thoughts . I didn't look where I was going and bumped into Kiara who had her hands filled with pastries . That's why my shirt is a bit dirtied with cream . " said Browen and looked at Kiara who was acting as she didn't know anything .

' She really likes pastries ! ' thought Eskylrious .

" When we bumped into each other we started talking about things related to the competition . Kiara suddenly pushed me down and I didn't know why but when I saw the bullet that was stuck at the wall I understood that we were being attacked . If Kiara hadn't pushed me down in that moment I would have died . They started shooting more and we were forced to search for a place to hide . We found a small storage room when running and hid there . What we found strange is that even though the shoots and those assassins were very noisy no guard came , there were no maids either .

We understood that we had to deal with them ourselves and stayed in the storage room for a bit to see how many of them were and how many weapons they had . After observing them for a few minutes Kiara went first to fight against them . I have a special talent , I can easily detect one's ability and weakness just by seeing them fight and predict their moves . I watched Kiara carefully and after I understood her complexion I immediately went near her and both of us fought together . We were able to win however we received an unpleasant surprise when we saw that their leader was our family's leader of the bodyguard's sect . " said Browen with a serious look .

" Kiara would you like to add anything ? " asked the king .

" No Your Majesty ! Everything my cousin Browen said is true . " said Kiara .

" Are you sure you aren't forgetting anything ? " asked the king .

" I am sure I haven't forgotten anything....I think . " said Kiara trying to recall the whole scene and figure out what she had forgotten .

" I am talking about the assassins that were tied and shoot at the butt with two bullets . Did you do it ? " asked the king .

" Well.....true I did it but I don't think I did something wrong in comparison with what they did . They shoot me first and I returned them the favor . Plus in comparison to them who wanted to kill me I think that shooting them in the but is quite a lenient punishment . " said Kiara with a noncaring tone which made both the king and the prince laugh .

' So it really was you ! Kiara , I am starting to think that you're becoming more and more interesting with each passing day . ' thought Eskylrious with a smirk and looked at her the way a beast looked at his pray .

" Hahahahahahaha ! You're really funny you know that ms Kiara ! " said King Charles .

" Rather than funny I would say that she is stupid . " said Eskylrious .

" Huh ! Why you gira.....I mean Your Highness would think that taking revenge is stupid ?! " said Kiara a bit irritated by his words .

' If you weren't a prince I would have shot you in the butt too ., you narcissist giraffe ! ' thought Kiara.

' I knew she could never be that polite towards me . she would shot me in the but too ?! How silly can one be . Her thought are quite amusing . ' thought Eskylrious who had heard Kiara's thoughts using his mind-reading powers .

" I can't understand something though , ms Kiara , Why didn't you kill them ?! They wanted to kill you and you don't seem like the type that would hesitate to kill the enemy . So can you tell me the reason ?! " said King Charles .

All of the people looked at Kiara . Browen saw that her expression changed a little when she heard this and thought that maybe she had remembered another unpleasant memory . Mr Ranch could guess who was the one that had ordered the head of all the bodyguards to kill Kiara but what he didn't expect was that that person involved Browen too , a prodigy of the Willow family . He would have let it go if it was just Kiara but since Browen was involved then that person had to pay a high price .

" Simple Your Majesty ! I never take people's life ! I believe that if I can talk it out with them maybe I can create more allies . If they refuse to talk peacefully then isn't making the rest of their lives a living torture better of a punishment rather than putting them in eternal sleep so that they can rest . " said Kiara with a bitter smile and dark expression while looking at the head bodyguard . When he saw her expression he was really afraid that he would be done for if he didn't collaborate with her . That only glare from her made him switch sides immediately .

' She thinks the same as I ! No wonder she has caught my interest ! ' thought Eskylrious .

" You have a point ! I agree with what you just said ! " said the king and then looked at his grandson who was watching Kiara with a smirk .

' Haaaaa.....these two !....They have such similar thoughts and way of thinking . I am glad they aren't brother and sister otherwise the castle would crumble . ' thought the king a bit stressed by the thinking of them as rulers , one to the British throne and one to the Williow's leader seat .

" Now , mr bodyguard head ! Why did you intend to kill Kiara ? " asked the King .

" What ?! The one they were trying to kill is me and not Browen ?! " asked Kiara a bit surprised . All this time she thought that she had mixed herself in this matter per accident that resulted in both of them being chased after and now she realized that all along was the oposite . She had dragged Browen in this mess .

" You just realized that now ?! " asked Browen surprised .

" I thought that they were chasing after you . You were never a problematic child , no wonder I thought it was strange . Haaa....what bad luck ! I was happy that you owed me a favor but now , it turns out that I owe you a favor for helping me ! " said Kiara looking at Browen a bit disappointed .

" See , that's why I said she is stupid ! Now let continue where we left . " said Eskylrious making it impossible for Kiara to have the chance to talk back .
